I came to The Stuffed Pig at the urging of a friend on our way back to Ft. Lauderdale. It is a tiny structure which it's main dining room is patio sitting. I myself don't enjoy fried food, or comfort food, so most of the menu is a no go for me. They do carry omelettes and such. Which is what I had. I tried the feta and spinach omelette with which was just OK. Nothing special. The most attractive thing about this place is their prices. It is cheap. Drinks are cheap as well. Other than that this place is average. Service was courteous, but food took a while. If it's in your way, go for it, but it is not worth going out of the way for. read more

This place was down the road from the resort we were staying at looked like a good alternative to the hotel restaurant. We ended up sitting out back at their "tiki" part of the restaurant with a thatched roof enclosure with a bunch of tables. Breakfast was reasonable priced and the portions were pretty large. Had their feta spinach omelette, and a couple of their basic breakfast plates and although they were pretty straightforward still tasty. Super cute outdoor dining area. It is cash only, but they have an ATM on site that has a reasonable fee of $1.75 (I'm in the land of $3+ fees so this was a deal). The menu has absolutely anything one could want for breakfast. I went with the shrimp and grits. The shrimp come out on two skewers, so be aware of that. It was really good, but the shrimp had been hit hard with cumin which is not a spice I care for so I had to do some doctoring. The grits were creamy and smothered in cheese. I had the $12 bloody Mary and it was very spicy and quite good. (I live in the land of bloody Mary's so I'm a bit picky. The accoutrements weren't that fabulous--shriveled sausage, limp bacon, a shrimp, celery, pickle, and I think I'm forgetting a few items). The staff rotates through the area so you don't always get served by the same server, which is fine as they are all great, but it was a little confusing. read more

This was a brunch to remember!!! When my boyfriend and I arrived, we lucked out and got a parking spot in the gravel lot along the back. There isn't much parking available so that is a pain. ***Also they ONLY take CASH.*** I think this is a little old school for 2021, but at least they have an ATM. I'm glad I had my debit card that's for sure. While waiting for our table to be called (for 2 people) I got pooped on from a bird (I think?). It got all over my pants (brown liquid- gross!), my left arm, the back of my shirt and the top of my hair. It was disgusting! I went to the bathroom to get cleaned up, only to find that they don't have any paper towels. I had to use tissue paper to clean it up. Very yucky. At least the bathroom itself was very clean! Finally our table was called. Our server was hustling and very nice. I liked that the tables had hand sanitizer on them and were spaced out to allow for social distancing. The food was good. The ultimate Bloody Mary was pretty and had a lot of fancy garnishes, but I'm not actually sure it had ANY vodka in it. It was fun watching the iguanas walk around the tables, as if they owned the place. All in all, we'll be back. This was a great spot to stop for breakfast. It looks very tiny from the road but has a nice big seating area under a tiki out back . They work as a team so service was very fast . All the servers were great. They also have alcohol so if you're on vacation, pitchers of mimosas may be on your list. They have a big specials board they bring around to each table . Great selection. I had a giant biscuits and gravy with sausage patty's and 2 eggs AND hash browns. It was great and made for 2 meals. At the end of the meal , I was definitely a Stuffed Pig. read more

This place serves outstanding breakfasts in a tiki hut or indoors in the restaurant. I had shrimp and grits and he had eggs Benedict. The shrimp and grits had eggs, bacon strips and a dozen shrimp. There is an extensive drinks menu. I had a lovely frozen cappuccino. His Diet Coke was served with a pitcher of refills. Looks like they do the same for iced tea. Over rated tourist trap, took 45 minutes to be seated only to be right in the sun, I was told their Ultimate Bloody Mary was out of this world, needless to say it was very watery tasting, the shrimp on the stick with the sausage was awful, took one bite and wrapped it in a napkin, the olive with blue cheese tasted old, ordered the piglet breakfast and it was like a typical IHOP or Denny's breakfast but more expensive. One of the best breakfast's I've had in a loooooong time! I had The Gravy Pig - eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and one biscuit with gravy. DEEEEEEE-Licious! The bacon was pressed perfectly, the sausage yummy, the gravy... THE GRAVY!!!!! Wow. The biscuit was ok, but that's ok... everything else was yum. I almost forgot... the potatoes are home cooked - not previously frozen!!! Seasoned nicely and crispy on the outside. My hubby had the Pig Waffler- just like the gravy pig, except a waffle instead of a biscuit. All yummy. My eggs came out hard instead of over medium, and they corrected it quickly and with a smile. The coffee was perky. All the hostesses were helpful. I like that they all support all tables. Even the guy who brought out my eggs stopped at the table behind us on his way out to see if they needed anything. We sat outside under a large, covered thatch roof. It took another 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we wanted to order. Ordered 2 basic breakfast entrees and then we waited almost 45 minutes to be served. When I politely asked the Server when our food would be ready, she gave me attitude. I happened to notice that none of the other 3 tables in the dining room had received their orders.
