    Alligator tail bites

Tiny on the inside and looks like a hole in the wall but don't let that full you. This place was great. A tiny diner with about enough seating for like 15 people inside but a bunch of picnic tables outside. It's diner style if you sit inside and walk up food truck style if you sit outside. We choose the air conditioning inside to eat. Our waitress was extremely sweet and on point with taking care of us, which was 7 people. We were here for breakfast but they were already busy selling bbq. 3 of us tried things we couldn't get at home, the chocolate banana bread French toast, lobster fritters with eggs and alligator tail with eggs. All 3 of us highly enjoyed and recommend our choices.

What the heck - I never wrote a review for the Stuffed Pig??? I am so sorry - we've been here dozens of times over the years... We aren't locals but when we're in Marathon we never miss a chance to dine here. You. Will. Not. Leave. Hungry. Seriously - the portions are huge and the prices are just right. Plus: they serve alcohol. Everything you need for a great breakfast can be found at The Stuffed Pig. It is outside seating but you are under cover of thatch and leaf so the dining experience is real nice, especially when the humidity is low. The servers are attentive and professional. After your drink order is taken and you order your food, they check on you several times. We have never had a problem with our orders. The food is cooked to order and plentiful. They have a variety of choices to satisfy any palate. Thanks again, The Stuffed Pig - see you next year!

My love and I make this place a must when we stay at our home in Marathon

Here's a polished five The Stuffed Pig is a true hidden gem in Marathon that has been serving up incredible breakfasts for decades. If you're looking for hearty portions, unique options beyond the standard breakfast menu, and that authentic Keys charm, this is the place. The portions are massive--most dishes are big enough to split with someone--yet every bite is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. From classic plates to creative alternatives, the food is consistently outstanding. The outdoor tiki bar adds to the laid-back island vibe and is where most of the action happens, since the indoor dining area is small. A quick heads-up: The Stuffed Pig is cash-only, so come prepared. But trust me--it's worth it. Between the friendly atmosphere, generous plates, and old-Florida character, this spot delivers one of the best breakfasts in the Keys

Great breakfast with very large portions. Great outdoor dining with old FL charm. Pork belly and Canadian bacon available,

    Bloody Mary cocktail.

Food was fantastic, very tasty! Biscuits and gravy were five star. Ambiance was great; outside under canopy trees. At times when you find an outdoor location, space is somewhat limited and feels crowded. This location has plenty of seating with ample amount of room between tables. And the Bloody Mary is a must! Highly recommended for breakfast lovers!! Cheers...

One warning, the signature dishes are huge. Each one is enough for 2 reasonably hungry adults. We ordered 2 signature dishes, omelette, shrimp & grits. The gravy on both the signature dishes was perfect. Well cooked hash browns, omelette tasted the way it should. Excellent service. Reasonably priced, great value for money.

Great Dive for breakfast with diner style food however generous portions. Mostly outdoor seating under the tiki hut, some indoor seating available however we did not go inside. CASH only- ATM available on site. Service was good with multiple different employees checking in on us. Very laid back keys island ambiance. We noticed an obvious mix of tourists as well as several locals enjoying their meals.

You go around the corner to the bar area to order any drinks. We found a spot outside at a picnic table by the marina to eat. The food is fresh but overpriced. The lobster roll was good but had more roll than lobster. The lobster chowder was better than the lobster bisque I had at a different restaurant but still not as good as what I make at home. I tried the famous lobster Rueben. It was toasted perfectly on rye. It was fine but I think the sauerkraut over powers the lobster when the lobster needs to be the star of the sandwich. The beating I had here was probably the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was perfection. Deliciously crispy and the mango chutney was perfect with it. After we finished eating we went into the seafood market to check out their fresh seafood selection and grabbed a pie of key lime pie to go which comes in a little tart tin. It was really good flavored and the crust was obviously homemade. Not your typical graham cracker crust which was a nice change.

It wasn't the best meal we've ever had, but it was definitely the best food we had during our trip. Our favorites were the conch fritters, which were delicious, and the Angus cheeseburger, which was honestly the best thing we ordered. The mussels were also excellent and full of flavor. The shrimp ceviche was decent, but it could have used a little more seasoning, citrus, or zest. It felt a bit dry and didn't have the bright, fresh flavor I was expecting. The seafood platter was the biggest disappointment, especially considering the price. The mahi was under seasoned, and the texture wasn't enjoyable. The crab cakes had a fishy taste, and while the scallops were just okay, the shrimp was actually very good. The sweet potato side was delicious, but overall the platter didn't feel like a good value for what was served. Overall, despite a few misses, this was still the best dining experience we had in the Keys. The service was good, and there were enough standout dishes that we'd come back. I'd recommend sticking with the conch fritters, mussels, Angus cheeseburger, and shrimp.

We got seated inside just as the sun was starting to set. Sadly all the guests that had finished eating right before us decided to walk over to the dock outside the restaurant which just so happened to be the exact viewing location for the sunset so we didn't get any really good photos of it bc there were so many people over there videoing it and taking photos. It was still nice scenery while we waited for our food though. I ordered ceviche to start us off as our appetizer and it was really good. My dinner was a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was supposed to be a white cream sauce but it was really runny. Even adding extra Parmesan cheese to it didn't help thicken it. It tasted ok. Not my best pick. I had a choice of soup or salad with it. I chose their she crab soup and I'm glad I did. It was great. Almost reminded me of homemade chicken and dumplings soup just with crab. I really liked it. I should have stopped with that and the ceviche. My husband got a grouper fish sandwich. He thought it was good but the prices were a bit high for what it was. His fish sandwich was $29. Although good, not worth $29. My pasta definitely not worth the $31. May be a bit of a tourist trap but the food was decent.

We sat outside hoping to see the manatees at one point- never saw them. We ordered the lobster enchiladas, shrimp Reuben, and blackened lionfish with coleslaw and potato salad. Lobster enchiladas tasted like nothing- the shell was also oddly dry and unpleasant. I tried to drown it in the sauce, rice and beans, but honestly, almost everything on our table lacked salt and flavor. Can't believe they said Guy Fieri liked this. The bottom of the shrimp Reuben was soggy that it started falling apart. There was like 4 shrimp inside. This one was probably the most flavorful- but I still wasn't impressed. Lastly, I knew lionfish needs a lot of seasoning, and having blackened lionfish helps. But the sides (the coldslaw and the potato salad) were....so so so disappointing. A review said it felt like they were eating cafeteria food- that's exactly what I felt as well. Really appreciate the server for being so attentive and kind- they even brought over another slice of key lime pie (we only ordered one) because it was taking a while- definitely didn't expect it but appreciated the sweet gesture. For the price of it all, I paid similar for a wonderfully delicious seafood meal the other day so quite disappointed it didn't come up to par.
