Turkey avocado, Panini with lentil soup and homemade potato chips
    Deborah E.

This was my first time visiting this Cafe I've been meaning to try this place for a very long time. I had the opportunity to pop over today and I was not disappointed. I had the turkey avocado Panini and a cup of lentil soup. My friend also had the same sandwich and a cup of the tomato soup. It came with homemade potato chips. The sandwich was enormous we should've shared just one the bread was toasty on the outside, but soft on the inside the turkey was fresh. The avocado was perfectly soft and the ingredients married well with one another. The lentil soup was outstanding I would return just for this item. The homemade potato chips were a little bit greasy, not as crispy as I would've liked, but they were still good. I noticed everyone else was eating breakfast, even though it was around lunchtime and I was a little envious. Their food looked delicious. I will definitely be returning. The staff was courteous and everything was fresh and enjoyable. I forgot to take a picture of my food while I was there so the only picture I have is the takeout box.

Found a long hair in my tacos.

Found a long hair in my tacos. I took a bite and wanted to admire the flavor but I then I saw a hair. Not my eyelashes (I have mascara on) nor my hair. It's recently highlighted blonde. So for sure a cooks hair.

Gave this place another shot after 3 year hiatus. And it's worse!!! Came a little before noon & all the bakery items were empty and they wouldn't even make me a latte--something about barista on break...they close at 3:00 and it's 12:00! I'm literally chuckling as I'm writing this....but not in a good way

20 bucks for a salad and you don't even wash your lettuce..? There was dirt all over my lettuce and I ended up throwing away. I already poured some of my dressing in it so I couldn't even wash it off with water. Don't be lazy and please wash your veggies properly.... or use a prewashed salad mix at least.

Lots of great seating but don't order the chocolate croissant! It runs a bit tough and is shamefully stingy on chocolate! Drip coffee is mediocre. Staff, clientele, and atmosphere are great!

Call the restaurant and ask for the manager.

Just a heads up, they only accept card payments. Card payments includes Apple Pay as well as Google pay, in case you were wondering. I was impressed by the large dining area the natural light that comes through and how clean everything was. The menu is tough for me to read because I am a little bit more visually impaired these days. But they are located on three large TV screens above the register and ordering area. There are printed menus available as well. Most of their sandwiches look like they are anywhere from about $15-$18 each. They have quite a variety. I really love and appreciate that the person who took my order not only was very familiar with their sandwiches and could make some really good recommendations, but they were very mindful in letting me know if I were ordering a sandwich that were cold versus hot. Sometimes I've had the experience where I order a sandwich and I get it and it's cold. I didn't anticipate that. So, there was one sandwich that I thought I was going to order from here and the employee who is taking my order let me know that that was a good selection, but that it was a cold sandwich and not a hot one. Thank goodness. A dodge bullet on that one. I also really appreciate the fact that the employee let me know that with certain sandwiches, if the bread type was not one that I cared for that I might be able to substitute it without any problem. I ordered food for my kiddo, and I mentioned that she has a little bit more bit more difficult time with breads that are crispy or hard or tough, like a French roll. So she made it very clear to me as to which bread varieties they have that might be good for her situation. I also really like the fact that the employee knew what was in the different spreads that they use on their sandwiches. That was very helpful. I also mentioned to the employee that I am allergic to olives and cucumbers. And so, if there were any items that we were ordering that were inclusive of cucumbers and olives, she would put cucumbers on the side, but olives were not a worry because they don't use them in house at all. I was honestly just really impressed with your service and the knowledge of their staff. She said that a lot of their repeat business comes from their in-house spreads that they use on their sandwiches. I believe it. My family and I we ordered about five different sandwiches. Each sandwich comes with a side salad unless of course you go ahead and decide to order an upgraded side. Some of the examples of upgraded sides include things like french fries or a goat cheese and tomato soup. Another option was a turkey chili or a side of coleslaw or a kale pasta salad. Those are all pretty good seeming sides. Personally, I ordered pretty blindly. I didn't really look at the cost of each of the sandwiches that I ordered nor did I ask about the cost for the upgraded sides. But all in all, five sandwiches and upgraded size for each of them was a total of $100. I figured, 20 bucks per person really isn't bad these days.

To eat, the baba's chicken caesar wrap and that was okay as well. It tasted pretty healthy which I do like, but a lot of the components made it feel like I was eating cardboard. The creamy sauce did help though and I loved the crunchy and refreshing side salad. Interior and bathrooms are pretty clean with a good amount of seating, tables, and outlets. The baristas here were super nice and welcoming. The music can get a bit loud though especially the one coming from the fitness room it's connected to. To park, you just need to follow the signs inside the building for the free covered parking. Solid study spot with decent drinks and food. I would consider coming back.

I ordered the mozzarella sandwich with fresh ovoline mozzarella, creamy avocado, crunchy alfalfa sprouts, pickled red onions, and zatar spread on their signature crackly house made focaccia. The sandwich was stacked incredibly high with fresh ingredients and every bite was delicious. The focaccia alone deserves recognition since it was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. The flavors worked really well together. The portion was huge and it took me about forty minutes to finish because it was so generously loaded. They even gave me a side of avocado at no charge which was a really nice surprise. We also both ordered the homemade lemonade which was to die for and very refreshing. We liked it so much that we made a plan to come back next week. So we went to today and I ordered a BLT with turkey added, no problem. My girlfriend asked for the veggie wrap in a sandwich form and the guy at the register said "we don't do modifications". My girlfriend responded by saying they were able to do it last time so could you check. He looked fairly new and had trouble putting in my order in the register since I modified it by adding turkey. So he went to the back and just asked, do we do modifications? To which the guy in the back said no. She's vegan and that's all she can have off the menu so she ended up not getting anything and she was bummed since she really liked the sandwich they made last time. So we won't be coming back here and this place gets one star based on the customer service. It's a sandwich shop, if it's an extra charge to put a veggie wrap into a sandwich no problem. But the hard NO when it was made last time is PRETTY LAME for a sandwich shop not being able to make a veggie sandwich.

I ordered the Rafaello (naturally, because I have a dear friend named Rafaela and I'm loyal like that) and the Milanese. Both were absolute masterpieces. The Rafaello was a flavor bomb of perfection, and the Milanese? Crispy, juicy, and so dangerously delicious I nearly proposed to it mid-bite. And I can't forget the penne pasta--it was a silky, sauce-kissed dream that somehow managed to outshine every other pasta I've had in recent memory. Perfectly al dente, loaded with fresh, vibrant flavors, and seasoned like it had something to prove. It wasn't just a side; it was a full-blown scene-stealer. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm and welcoming. The staff is genuinely friendly, the service is quick and spot-on, and everything just feels... right. But the real hero here is the bread. They bake it fresh in-house every single day, and it's not just good bread--it's the kind of bread that makes you question every sad grocery store loaf you've ever tolerated. Golden, crusty, pillowy perfection. That house-made bread is the proverbial icing on an already flawless sandwich, piled high with generous portions of premium meats and ingredients that actually taste like they came from somewhere with standards. Their homemade and freshly baked focaccia bread was sooo good! Toasted perfectly. Not too crispy, not too soft.
