Ordering was great at their counter, were given a pager for when it was done. Tried ordering thru the Public House Ordering system with the QR code at the table, but as frequently is the case, that crashed several times and listed Moi Poki Grill as being closed. Despite some of the negative reviews, I had a pleasant experience with their food. That being said, I did order through the online portal so I didn't actually interact with the servers/employees. While the price of a poke bowl is high here, I was glad to see it was a large size- I couldn't even finish mine. I thought it tasted fresh and I really enjoyed eating it! The only disappointment I experienced was there being a listed ingredient missing from my bowl. We hired Moi Poki to cater our company picnic. This is the second time we've had them cater an event for us. Francine was helpful and responsive. She showed up on time and all of the food was great. She even quickly brought more food when we started to run low (this happened to us last year with a different caterer so I think the problem is us, not the portion sizes! We'll order more food next year). Overall we had a great experience and would recommend her for your event. We also visited the Public House location before the event to try some different entrees. Ate here inside the Public house food court. Overall was disappointed- I had the garlic tofu plate , 1/2 noodle and 1/2 rice with macaroni salad. They were out of all the other protein options. It did not come with the sesame ginger slaw that the other location has. I thought the food was bland, was fine but would not get again. What is going on here? Last night I ordered the Garlic Chicken which was described as ALL WHITE MEAT CHICKEN in a tempura batter. What I got was ALL DARK MEAT, rubbery inedible COLD chicken on top of dry yakisoba that was so old the ends were crunchy. Crunchy! The mac salad had clumps of the mayo mix and was looking days old. So basically all of the food was the same temperature. That's weird considering there was maybe 2 bites of slaw, mac salad, fried garlic chicken and stir fried noodles. $17 for this. After the first bite of each, then cutting the chicken in half to reveal dark meat grossing me out and cutting several other pieces in half to see the same thing, I put the plate aside and went and asked the girl at the counter what I'm supposed to do if there is an issue. She said she printed the receipt and would send the picture to her boss to get me a refund. I'm still waiting for that to come through. I don't know how they are still open. When they were at Beergarden they had such good ramen. They no longer offer ramen and instead went way downhill with quality of all food they offer at ridiculous prices. read more

I am reviewing based on the quality of ramen and the flavor and composition of the dishes. Japanese ramen has no set taste that it must be like, and this shop reflects the uniqueness of the chef. Well composed, flavor balanced well and generous portion. My only critique is that perhaps the plate may be trying to do too much, but that is a matter of personal preference, not necessarily the quality of the ingredients. This is a new vendor at the Public House in Springfield. I bought the so-called Bulgogi bowl priced at $17. It was a big mound of white rice topped with a little kimchi and such and very tough, close to inedible strips of what seemed to be round steak. My sister got the General Tso's chicken, also heavy on the rice and priced at $15. The effect is like Panda Express except even worse and twice the price, plus double the wait. Second dish never arrived. We checked in about 45 minutes later thinking they were just busy. The font didn't know where or food was as told us to ask the back of house. The Public House is fantastic and I was excited to try Moki Poki. I ordered a Hawaiian plate and it arrived without the macaroni salad and slaw that was listed on the menu. I walked back to ask about it. The guy was super rude and stated that they no longer do the slaw. I asked about the macaroni salad and he acted put out and needed to confirm my order. He slapped the macaroni salad in a cup and acted irritated. I've worked in the service industry for years and this was terrible service. We've went there multiple times at the location at Public House. Even through the pandemic the food was good every time. With that in mind we had it again yesterday. Some things has changed, I'm not sure if the business has changed hands or if it's supply issues. There breaded chicken has changed, it's not bad, I'm just not sure why they changed it, the chicken before was great. The macaroni salad has changed as well. They didn't have red pepper side sauce we really like. We will still try them again but we may ask some questions first. We do appreciate the service of the employees, I know they are working hard to serve people with kindness, they did also bring the food still hot. read more
