A number of venues are here, so drop by, at least for a walk-around. Large kitchen in what would have been an outbuilding, we joined a few other people to make our order. The genuine friendliness from everyone was nice. And the menu was wonderfully different from any other breakfast/lunch place you have been to before. Very cleaver mix of Mexican and traditional entrees, along with a full scale coffee bar that would compete well against any of the commercial brew houses around. KV Lemon Poppyseed Waffle ($15) with real maple syrup, Carnitas Scramble ($16) bowl with three eggs, salsa and feta, Bonetti Bowl ($17) of potato hash and sausage saute topped with 2 eggs, bacon strips, and chipotle aioli and, Biscuits & Gravy ($14) topped with country sausage gravy, 2 over medium eggs and two bacon. Getting the idea? Wife loves lemons and her love was reinforced with the waffle and I just loved the biscuits and gravy, with the sausage dominant. Both breakfasts were loaded with flavor and the freshly brewed coffees topped it all off. We ate inside, as it was chilly outdoors, but there are tables outside on a patio and deck. We will seek Kitchen and Vine out for a return meal and our guess is that the lunches will be just as good as their friendly service. Yum.

Smooth with a hint of malty sweetness too! I am thinking maybe the Lawn Order blonde ale is probably going to be great as well, but too full from late lunch to consume more than one. For food, went with the birria melt and the salmon salad. Birria melt had some awesome authentic flavors to it! Kid devoured it with the consomme. I enjoyed a quarter of it, but too full, so worked out perfect since kid didn't want to share more either, lol. Salmon salad was perfect! Pan seared on both side for that wonderful crust yet tender goodness. Salad dressing with cherry and almond slices made this salad so enjoyable while staying lighter. Was not expecting such salmon from a brewery, excellent food here! When I brought it up immediately, the bartender responded with, "Oh yeah, I guess I should have told you that," which pretty much confirmed they were aware of the discrepancy beforehand. That's not okay. If there are extra charges, substitutions, or upcharges, they need to be clearly communicated before the transaction--not after the customer catches it.
