This place is a hidden gem. This was my first time visiting and I was unsure if this was a carry out only or full service. I was pleasantly greeted by staff who immediately sat us. The ambiance is nice. They have tables and booths for full service dining. Our server bought chips and salsa. The salsa tasted from the kitchen. We ordered the birra taco plate, a plate of street tacos, side of rice, and an a side of corn. Everything was delicious. The rice is very fluffy and seasoned. I will be back again. read more

Meh, it's was ok. The flavors were pretty good and the prices were reasonable. The top shelf margarita still tasted like off the shelf margarita mix. Not great for how much $ it cost. read more

If you haven't eaten here....GO!!! The food was delicious and the service fast and so friendly. We were the 1st customers of the day and within 15 minutes the restaurant was half full. We liked that the booths were large and spacious. There would be plenty of room for four people without feeling crowded. We definitely will be back again and again to eat our way through the menu! read more

Been meaning to go here for about a year now and I really wonder why I waited that long. A friend has a few posts from here so I had to go. I got the Birria tacos of course and they were very good and the consome wasn't too salty. My friend also recommends the tilapia tacos!! read more

I had to give this place another try since I've seen so many other good reviews and I originally tried them when they first opened. I know businesses have some bumps to iron out So today I went there for the Birria tacos. They were actually very delicious. They were $18 for three of them but you got a full bag of tortilla chips and some salsa too! I've had Birria tacos at multiple places and some have been more cheesy and a little more crunchy but the softer texture on these was a nice accompaniment to the richness of the meat. The meat was very tender and the consomme was flavorful and they have a heavy hand with cilantro which I love. My order was ready when they said it was going to be and it was still warm and the customer service came with a smile and speed. I will definitely be going back for some of these and perhaps trying other things. I would definitely recommend them now that they are in their groove. read more

The food was, well, Mexican. The corn dish was good at first, but then I didn't like it anymore. Maybe it's just a me thing. Servers were nice, did their job well, but not exceptionally, which isn't a bad thing. The place was crowded, but it wasn't overwhelming. read more

The food, in my opinion, is very good. I especially love the tacos. The salsa has a great flavor and is very much a great mild restaurant style salsa. If you like beans and cheese, try the bean and cheese dip which is also very good. This place is a step up from Los Tres Amigos and I feel it is better than Mexican Fiesta in Canton - which is more of a traditional Mexican American style of food. I grew up on that style of Mexican food in Detroit and have enjoyed Mexican Fiesta since it opened so that is not a knock against them. Barrio in Plymouth is the fancier option and delicious; Maiz in Depot Town is also a little better imo but I feel The Taco Factory is right there - perhaps a little below those two restaurants but very close. Of course this is all subjective based on your own personal tastes but I honestly do feel this is a solid place. All in all, when you factor in the price, service, and quality of the food, I feel it's a great addition to Canton. read more

Nothing special. I love Mexican food. When it opened I was excited to go there. I mean "tacos", right? Ordered tacos to go. Meat was burnt. Tasted soggy. Nothing special. Look if you are the "taco factory" spend more time on the tacos and less on the factory. Tasted like a factory made them. Could be a lot better. Overall: pass. Me and My family go here all the time. Close to home so quick dinner choice!! The staff are always super nice and friendly and the food is ALWAYS amazing!! My daughter loves getting the Mango Lemonade. It's so cute inside and they have did shows and movies playing on different TV's and that's great! I had no idea that this restaurant existed, but we decided to go here for my cousins birthday dinner and it was just OK. The location is decent, super ducked off, but also in a very popular spot in Canton. The inside is pretty plain aesthetically, but there is plenty of seating. The service wasn't great, it seems like they were understaffed, but it made the overall experience three stars. The food was average in terms of taste and price, and the drinks were decent. I would go again, but I'm not sure if I would go for a birthday dinner. read more

Average dining experience. Taste Food was good, definitely recommend the chicken for the tacos a bit more than their version of the beef. Not sure if there is just a widespread issue with the limes recently but both times they were dry as a bone trying to squeeze the juice onto the tacos. Ambiance Dined outside since it was a nice day, not sure if they were short staffed or were just waiting for more than two tables to turn over but there was leftovers and trash there from the time we sat down until we ate and cashed out. Prices While the actual menu prices are comparable to many other similar style restaurants, the portions themselves on both the meals and the drinks were nothing to highlight. Can get better bang for your buck if you're willing to drive a bit further out to a more authentic establishment. Biggest complaint was the saga of the chips and salsa. The staff dropped off the salsa and chips while we looked over the menu, and the salsa looked and tasted like tomato paste lightly mixed with diced tomatoes. After the waitress returned with our waters and took our order I asked if they had a hotter salsa, she replied yes but there was an upcharge. Not a deal breaker but definitely strange since it's usually not a big deal to get as long as you are ordering meals. I said that's fine and she left. We nibbled on the chips for a bit over 5 minutes when she finally returned from inside to drop them off. Mostly crumbs and broken chips left in the small basket, so I asked if we could get another thing of chips for this salsa. She again said yes but that is another upcharge. Now I let out an audible chuckle and she nervously laughed and asked if I was still interested. Told her I guess so since I now have a freshly paid for salsa and no chips to eat with it. The new thing of chips came out a few minutes before our actual food came out, so basically wasted the $3 on the salsa and the $2 on the chip refill. Drinks weren't even half gone and I was on the 2nd of 3 tacos when she came back out and asked if we need any boxes and if its on one check. Long story short, all the other places in the area would have to have extremely long wait times for us to return to this place for average food and a la carte chips and salsa. read more

First off, I would like to say that the service is great. And delivery of dinners were fast. Chips and salsa are good, prefer a bit hotter. Dinner came out and looked fabulous, but the hamburger seemed to be well over cooked or been sitting around a while. Not to crazy about the melted creamy cheese they use. And not a huge fan of the Mexican rice had much better at other establishments. I will give it another try and go from there. read more
