I first came to this shop a little over a year ago for a Friday the 13th event and got tattooed by Vinh--and I've been coming back ever since! What started as a small flash tattoo turned into an incredible creative journey. After that first experience, I decided to work with Vinh on a deeply meaningful piece dedicated to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. He was so engaged, compassionate, and intentional in understanding the heart behind the design. The final result was absolutely stunning--so much so that it inspired me to continue working with him over the past 13 months to complete an entire sleeve. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every session with Vinh has been nothing short of positive, comfortable, and downright entertaining. He's professional, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to be around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of that, everyone at the shop--from the owner to the other artists (Tibo and Matt)--has been incredibly genuine, welcoming, and kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's such a great energy in the space, and you can tell they all care about what they do and the people who walk through the door. I can't wait to show off my finished sleeve and see what Vinh and I create next. I'd recommend this shop (and especially Vinh!) to absolutely anyone looking for great work and an even better experience.

My last artist moved out of state so I was on a hunt for someone local to me with a good reputation. I'm so lucky to have found The Tattoo Room. Very clean, very relaxed atmosphere with very experienced artists. I had my first tattoo done last week by Joey Fisher. He was very nice, a wonderful artist and did exactly what I was hoping for. I really liked all the info he gave me about what to expect in the healing process and care from his tattooing style. Really great guy all around! My daughter and I will definitely be back and are looking forward to getting more work from Joey as well as Danielle, Heather, Hana and Tonya! UPDATE: Since I posted my first review 3 years ago, I have been back many times working on a portrait leg sleeve by Danielle. She is an extremely talented artist and I really enjoy my time at the shop (which is typically 4 hours every few months). Thanks so much and look forward to seeing you all in January!

JUST got my navel piercing by Andi, less than an hour ago. Andi was super sweet & she explained everything & made me feel super comfortable. Andi also does not overprice for basic jewelry like other places. moral of the story ... come to The Tattoo Room & get pierced by Andi!!

Thank you for a truly awesome experience for my 13 yr old daughter. She has been nervous about getting her ears pierced but wanted it done before the school year started. I called and made a appt with ease. Trish did her very best to make my daughter feel comfortable and was very calm and soothing to a nervous young girl. My first tattoo with Frankie was in 2012, and yesterday we added 2 large pieces to an arm sleeve that included a cover up. He is excellent, an extremely talented artist and all around great person. He works fast, and his line work is near perfect. The whole vibe of the shop is great. Oh, and Frankie knows what he is talking about, if he says it doesn't go there, then IT DOESN'T GO THERE. read more

Cool artwork.They know how to draw and color. I gave this place several chances because I didn't want to find another artist to finish it.Started going there in 2010.No smiles, Even though I had been there many times I was never felt welcome. "Are you shopping or buying!" The ladies seem to need a healthy meal and the guy could skip a few. Changed many of my appointments Very impatient when I wanted to talk about adding or changing the idea of my tattoos. Too cool for me, very snooty or snotty. read more

I have had all my tattoo work done at The Tattoo Room with Heather Sinn. I couldn't be more pleased. Heather is one of the most talented and passionate artists I've ever known. In what has been a mostly male dominated field, The Tattoo Room is girl power at the highest level. All the artist that work there are the best in the business and very professional. The shop is very clean and the decor on the walls is awesome. I read a review from someone unhappy that they had to leave a deposit. Clearly this person has never had a quality tattoo done because it's standard to leave a deposit for the artists time and spot. To bad they didn't get an opportunity to actually have some work done. They would never have left that negative review. If you are interested in getting a tattoo, this is the place to go. All the artist are booked out because people who know good tattoos when they see it come here. I am proud to say I've been tattooed by one of the best. What are you waiting for? read more

These guys are jerks and super unhelpful. I tried to make an appointment and they told me I had to come in to make the appointment and leave a deposit- something I have never heard of for a simple tracing of a tattoo. Especially since that's the whole reason I'm trying to make the fucking appointment. Ridiculous, pretentious assholes. Go to hidden la. F these guys. read more

I had my tattoo done by Heather yesterday. This was my first tattoo, so I was very nervous going in, as I wasn't sure what to expect. Throughout the experience Heather was very attentive towards me and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable. When she saw that I was hurting a lot from the needles, she applied a topical anesthetic, which made the rest of the experience way more bearable. As a result, my first tattoo experience was well worth the time and money. I am not sure if I will get more tattoos in the future, but if I do, I would come here again. Heather is a very talented artist and I would definitely recommend her to anyone, especially to tattoo virgins. The shop overall was clean, inviting, and sterile, a great place to get inked. read more

I've been getting tattooed by Frankie for a long time, and each time I visit, his skills increase exponentially, and I know when I go, its not going to be some stuffy, stuck up shop. Everyone here is super laid back, easy to talk to and get along with. All the tattooers here are completely professional, honest, and will work with you to make whatever you want, work. Whenever I am in Southern California (I grew up there), and I have the time and extra cash, I get tattooed at the Tattoo Room by Danielle Oberosler. She has illustrated and inked five of my tattoos. So let me start off by saying what a great experience my first tattoo was. I got my tattoo done by Hana. Talk about someone who is an expert at her craft. I was very anxious to get it done and she was beyond friendly and courteous to what I wanted. I was getting script done on my chest and wanted it to look fantastic. I had to wait for an hour while she finished sketching it. Most people would be bothered by that, but she noticed one of the letters wasn't sized properly and decided to fix it, I personally appreciate that she took the time to do that. She also advised me to go much bigger with my tattoo because she said it would look much more masculine. I took her advice and I am loving it. Clean lines, beautiful font, and great customer service. Can't wait to go back there and get my arm done by Hana! read more

The Tattoo Room is the place to go for any tattoo you want to get. Heather Sinn is my artist, and her work is truly the best. Heather is friendly, wonderful to work with when discussing what you want for a tattoo, and is very knowledgeable in her field. The other artist there are just as good as Heather (I've seen them work on other people first hand) as well as being just as knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

Leo is great and has been doing my nails for quite some time. I recently got my acrylics taken off and get just a single layer of bio gel on my natural nails with no color or manicure. When I went in a few weeks ago, I was charged $40 because what I get is very basic. When I went in yesterday, Leo wasn't available so Mya did my nails and was very sweet, but at the conclusion told me because I didn't get color my total was only $55. I was confused as I had just paid $40 a few weeks prior. I went to the front to pay and asked the guy at the front desk (who is always pushy and not the most welcoming) why I was being charged different prices in which he responded it's $62 always for bio gel with or without color. So now, no one is on the same page and I've been told 3 different prices. Annoyed is an understatement. On top of this, the workers sit in the booths while they have no clients with their shoes off and dirty feet propped up on the benches which is not only gross, but super unprofessional. It's a shame the place is tan this way, it's a huge turnoff. Especially being treated like you're in the wrong when none of them are on the same page. I looked at the reviews and I feel better knowing it wasn't only me that saw the issues here. Won't be going back anymore.

Frankie is my tattoo artist here, and ive been going here since he began working out of this shop. ive had nothing but good experiences and positive vibes from this place and get countless and constant compliments on the work frankie has done on me. very clean shop, very welcoming, and very awesome over all. i swear by frankie's work and enjoy coming to this shop every time. Everyone who works here is courteous and professional, and i have never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome here ever. in my honest opinion this is a fantastic shop and everyone who works here is very talented and understanding. they are always willing to work with you and are reasonably priced for the high quality of work that they do here. i recommend this shop to everyone i meet and highly recommend going in to check it out for themselves. not only am i extremely happy with the work Frankie has done on me but they are very conveniently located RITE next to the 118 freeway. ive had several pieces done by Frankie here and if anyone thinks otherwise and/or wants an example of his work feel free to e-mail me and i will be happy to send pictures of my tattoos. i have nothing but good things to say about this shop and ALL the artists that work here. DO NOT GO TO JOEY! I had work done by Heather who is absolutely AMAZING. I had come in to finish what I had started with Heather but she was booked for months and I was anxious to get it finished. Joey talked me into coming in for him to finish this piece. I was hesitant and also did not want to cause a problem going to another artist there but he talked me into it and said we all share clients Heather would not care. I went ahead and let him finish my tattoo. HUGE MISTAKE! He talked me into doing something I didn't even like and said it is just like thats is how its supposed to be. Its terrible work and I HATE IT! I was too embarrassed to go back and tell Heather so I just paid someone $300 to fix this nightmare and I still hate it. On top of it he charged me for two hours but talked so much to others and took so many smoke breaks which the actual tattoo only took one hour. I also watched him talk a girl into not doing a finger tattoo because he said it'll come right out and shell hate it and she ended up doing it somewhere she didn't want. I could go on but all the artists there are AMAZING and Joey doesn't belong there. read more

I've been going to the Tattoo Room for awhile. I absolutely love this place and all the artists: Danielle, Heather, Vinh, and Kelsey (and Hanna when she's in town). The women are all hot and Vinh is one good looking dude! More importantly, they are professional, courteous, and very talented. I love them all, though I've only had the privilege of being tattooed by two of them, Heather and Kelsey. Heather has been working on my upper body and Kelsey is working on my lower legs and feet. Heather has done my arms (i.e., upper arms and forearms), one of my hands, my neck (2 spiders on each side), and my chest. We are planning on doing my entire back and upper stomach area. I cannot say enough good things about the work she's done. The same goes for Kelsey's work (not to mention her amazing Voldemort drawing at her station). The Tattoo Room is, as far as I'm concerned, simply the best! Roses are red, violets are blue, I love the Tattoo Room and so will you! read more

I had some ink that needed to be refreshed, and Heather hooked me up big time! Not only is she one of the most talented people I've met, she is incredibly cool & patient, she took some ok ink that I already had & made it rad, I didnt realize how unhappy i was with my old tattoo artist until she revitalized two of my pieces & added a third, she is a premire artist that I would trust with any tat, big or small. Heather Sinn is the bomb, if you are lucky enough to get a time & date with her or the artists at that shop, it's worth the wait, plus she got me in when someone else cancelled, I couldn't be happier. What an amazing experience and tattoo I received !!!! Everyone at the Tattoo Room is friendly and amazing tattoo artists! I have two tattoos, all done by Nick..I have a cherry blossom branch and three months later had him add a hummingbird. I am an "older" woman and was very intimidated by many of the tattoo shops that I had previously visited as this was going to be my first tattoo. Immediately upon walking into the Tattoo Room I knew I was in good hands. Nick is a sweetie and I have the most amazing, detailed beautiful tattoos now ! he made me feel at ease and comfortable. I am so glad I did!!! Walking in the shop I did not feel like an outsider. Heather was working with a client but, took the time to listen to what I wanted and I booked an appointment with her that day. What can I say...Heather is a master artist! I was very comfortable on her table and she has a light touch, that at times I was able to close my eyes and breath through the process. I went in to have my septum pierced and I met Andi... she was very sweet and very professional... she had the wherewithal to know if it was safe for me to get my septum pierced or not and it turns out it was not... instead I got my nose pierced! She was great! so gentle... so professional! She made me feel right at home! I will be returning to her for sure! I chose The Tattoo Room because a friend of mine got hers there, it was the perfect choice! Heather did an amazing job and gave wonderful input. Her detailing is fantastic and she is extremely nice. I could not be any happier with my tattoo. Overall everyone there is pretty laid back and easy to talk to. Just remember, you're gunna get what you ask for. So consider what your tattoo artist says, after all, they are all very skilled at tattooing - you are not. The place is very clean and well maintained, with their licenses posted right on the wall, so don't even worry about any of that. This is NOT some cheap sketchy place, and it's worth it. read more

Joey Fisher!!! called the guy last minute and he told me to come in and he would make it work! When i got there he had already done a handful of tattoos that i watched. he stayed 2 hours past closing to fit me in. The tattoo i wanted was very meaningful to me due to the time i spent in the military. Joey took his time to research what i wanted but also ask the history and the story behind it! After he found the perfect idea he did everything to make me comfortable and made my idea come to life! Tonya Van Parys is the best! I have four tattoos, all done by her amazing hand. I came in for my first tattoo (morning glories for my Mom) with a vague idea of what I wanted and Tonya talked me through the design, what would look nice and wouldn't look good in the long run with changing styles. DO NOT LET ANYONE BUT DANIELLE WORK ON YOU!!!!! I've never been so disappointed!! I left in tears. $80 for 2 letters give me a break .It's HORRIBLE & uneven How do you screw up 2 letters? Yes, I did say it was fine but when it's been wiped clean after 3 tries purple copy ink is still on your arm. I was told it would be slightly shaded & more curvy but that is NOT! what I got. Now it's going to cost a fortune to have fixed or removed. Be very careful getting stay away from anyone but Danielle. read more

I've had two tattoos done here and love both! First, Heather gave me a tattoo on my ankle a couple years back and, of course, I had to go back this year for another. This time, Joey gave me a tattoo on my wrist, which came out exactly as I'd hoped. I'm lucky to live in a town with such a great studio, but even if you don't, it's DEFINITELY worth the drive.
