Review for their breakfast buffet only: super worth it! $39 for breakfast buffet at the terrace restaurant inside the langham hotel. We went in December 2025 and their menu include a healthy offering of options including breakfast sandwiches, potatoes, bacon, sausage, oats, made to order omelettes, yogurt, salad, waffles, and a cheese & fruit charcuterie board. Includes juice or la colombe coffee. If you want speciality drinks or coffee, that can be purchased in addition. For the price, very worth it!

Service 5/5 as far as the staff from the hostess to our servers. Food 4.5/5! So close to a 5/5! Ambiance 5/5. Length of time for food 2/5. Price for value of service and food 4/5 Overall rating 4/5! If you plan to come here, on a relaxing day and not in any type of rush, have great convos, it's aright! If you are very hungry, prepare to wait, order bread and appetizers! Also their menu. I went on open table. So hopeful to get the crab cakes, disappointed when the actually menu no longer has it. Boo I had the Chilean Sea bass 4.5/5, they gave you a pot of tableside serve of dashi broth, pieces of lobster and crunchy veggies under the filet do fish. It was great. Flavors good, the veggies gave me the crunch texture. The lobster was full flavor and the dashi balanced it out, little smoky but such a good balance. My wife loved her tender filet mignon, I ate her broccoli too. She said her meat didn't even have to have the sauce. It was good on its own. Kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. My son ate his entire plate. They said 5/5 3 decent size pieces of tender on top of a plate of crunchy fried fries and both kids approved. We also ordered the French onion soup, 4.5/5 so much cheese that stretched! Plenty of onions and a layer of bread. Bottom layer of soup , very legit, was not over salted. It was good and the cheese charcuterie board. 4/5, OMG I loved the honey on its comb, so good. I would come back, this place is grand, lots of land, lovely scenery, just very huge place. Probably fancy weddings, lovely spa packages and romantic weekends. Everyone was really friendly from the lobby to the valet service. Take a walk all around the property! There's a lot of history in this building.

Food- had breakfast at the place several times while staying there. The drip coffee was sometimes served hot or warm at best. Eggs weren't always cooked consistently as ordered. Potatoes were delicious. Salmon was fresh but bagel was lacking. The avocado toast had a "different" taste combination that made it bitter tasting. French toast was bland and hard. Oatmeal was good. Eggs Benedict was balanced and tasty. Pancakes were flat with no flavor. Bacon was nice and crispy. If you order sourdough bread, they will bring you white bread. It happened every time. Service- with the exception of two servers, the rest were NOT attentive. Slow and never came back to offer refills of the water or coffee. Ambiance- beautiful poolside restaurant Overall, the food and service were alright and did not meet the expectations of a luxury resort. If you are staying there, it might be worth having food there if you're planning a pool day.

The ambiance and service is great. Max was very patient and helpful. The food is not bad but not great.

I'm not sure why this place has such low ratings. I was staying at the hotel, so breakfast was included. It was a Sunday, and on weekends, breakfast turns into brunch, served until 1 PM. You can choose between a buffet or à la carte options. They offer a great variety, including a live egg station where you can have eggs prepared to your liking. I chose the Eggs Benedict with spinach and mushrooms, and it was delicious! Soft drinks like coffee, tea, and juice are included with the brunch buffet, but anything else, such as cappuccinos, lattes, or alcohol, comes at an extra cost. The service was friendly, and I loved the ambiance. Since it was around Christmas time, the entire atmosphere was festive and lovely. The place was busy with people celebrating, including ladies' gatherings, birthdays, and gift exchanges.

We came in for breakfast at this pool side restaurant at the langham Pasadena. Place was so packed with tourists for a Saturday morning. They started to serve lunch at 11am but guests still had breakfast / brunch buffet option. We chose the latter cause the lunch menu was so limited. The brunch buffet choices were not bad. Omelette and eggs benedict station was nice. Good amount of breakfast bakeries but no gluten free options at all. Salad and fruit station was my favorite. The food selections were decent but the flavors were lacking. I had to put salsa sauce on the flavorless foods to make them taste better. But we really wasn't expecting much for only $39 pp including soft drinks. It was a very relaxing breakfast / brunch and the service was great. Definitely up to a luxury hotel standards. I would say it's a nice place for brunch nonetheless! Ps. Valet $15 with validation

We enjoyed high tea here on a Saturday afternoon and it was really lovely from start to finish. They offered vegan, gluten-free, and regular options, and everything we tried was delicious. The tea selection was great and the atmosphere was elegant, beautiful, and perfect for a special afternoon. The service was attentive and very friendly, making the whole experience even better. It is definitely a bit of a splurge, but worth it if you are looking for a memorable high tea experience in Pasadena. The Langham Hotel itself is stunning, with historic grounds, a beautiful outdoor courtyard and pool, and even a speakeasy-style bar right next to the Terrace restaurant where high tea is served. Would highly recommend all around.

Sunday night the hostess was 10/10 . Service 10/10 everyone so nice . The short rib plate was everything I was hoping for . I was stunned by the graciousness by the staff . They really know how to give you that classy feeling.. like you're their special guest . Everyone working Sunday night was very attentive . the manor in which I was served made me blush quite a few times . They really are with that 5 star service . From the hostess to each of the servers they make you feel special like royalty . here I love this hotel so much , it's my happy place . 11/10 will be back .

The Terrace Restaurant at the Langham Hotel is our brunch favorite. The $39 buffet had great variety--loved the omelets, berry station, and awesome pastries. The terrace view was stunning, service was solid, and parking was $17 with validation. Highly recommended.

[SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 4/5 Kimchi Butter Fried Chicken Benedict $19.50 (4/5) -Poached Egg, Fried Chicken, Kimchi, English Muffin, Kimchi Butter Sauce, Hollandaise Sauce -This was a great breakfast item. The chicken was super juicy as well as the flavors of the kimchi. The combination of the chicken and the hollandaise sauce was super good as well. You can not go wrong with ordering this one. The potatoes were also crunchy and delicious. I was skeptic of this because it was kimchi and I don't like the sourness of kimchi but this was not that sour. Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict $19.50 (4/5) -Poached Egg, Nashville Hot Chicken, Coleslaw, English Muffin, Butter, Pickled Cucumber, Honey Spicy Mayo Sauce, Hollandaise Sauce -This was by far my favorite one. The chicken was not too spicy and it gave a great flavor to the entire dish. Again, the hollandaise sauce was super good. If you want a little kick to your eggs benedict, I would get this one. Orange Juice $6.95 (4/5) -Great flavor and tasted freshly squeezed. I would recommend getting this with your breakfast. [SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE] (not reflected upon review score): There is a bit of a wait time for this place so I would recommend going early. The service was pretty good. I literally got the last seat in the joint, and it's not a small place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Due to the popularity, finding parking is a bit of a chore. They have a lot but it is obviously filled to capacity with people waiting in the aisles for someone to leave. Service was very friendly and attentive. They're busy, and thankfully they employ a rather large staff of servers and busboys. And the food? It's killer. I got the pistachio latte, which was amazing and almost comically large. I also got the lavender lemonade, which is just freshly made lemonade with a lavender syrup poured in, sitting sadly on the bottom. Just stick with regular lemonade. I ordered the blueberry French toast, a side of bacon, and some hash browns - which I think they only have on weekdays. The waitress was very helpful and nice and pointed out I should get the combo with two eggs for less money. I did, even though I don't eat eggs, and took a couple cooked over hard home for my son. They looked good. The blueberry French toast was terrific. Excellent flavor, great texture, and the right balance so it wasn't too sweet overall with the syrup. The bacon was great, but it's usually hard to screw up bacon unless the stuff has gone bad. The hash browns were the only disappointment. They look good, but they are a little greasy and not very well seasoned. They're basically too bland. Still, this is one of the best breakfasts I've had in the San Gabriel Valley and around Pasadena. I can see why it's so busy, and I will definitely be back. Recommended. Just go!

I ordered the vegan famous breakfast burrito with the plant based Mexican chipotle sausage. It was just as delicious as the menu described it to be. The burrito was fully loaded with tofu eggs, which were crumbly and salted, some buttery avocado slices, crispy tater tots that were fried to perfection, and delectable and melty vegan cheese. The Mexican chipotle sausage worked so well in the burrito, adding a nice savory and meaty flavor while also adding some heat to the dish. I felt so great after eating it and it was very filling. The ambiance here was lovely and it was fun, upbeat and cheery. The seating was so comfortable and I felt relaxed and at ease while dining here. I loved the promptness and attention to detail. I didn't end up getting coffee, as I already drank 2 cups before coming here and it was barely noon. But the smell of espresso had me drooling and making me wish I could stomach a third cup! We were done about an hour before our reservation time. We hoped to be accommodated earlier but saw the long line and crowd waiting as we drove by. We decided to run a couple small errands instead. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation. It was still busy, but there were not as many people waiting. The hostess was so warm and welcoming. She let us know that the customers at our designated table were almost done and that they will have it ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, those customers decided to linger much longer. Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. For our entrées -- Shakshuka, Patty Melt and Brioche Eggs Benedict (with salmon). I was eager to try the Potato Gravlax, but it was sold out. :( Everything was so, so delicious! Fresh and flavorful. Lovely presentations. Very good portions. As we were finishing, Karla came to our table again to express her gratitude for our patience and understanding. Its small, busy, and quaint (no frills) - but hearty breakfast that feels like home.

The Reyn is a popular breakfast spot in Pasadena and a place I still visit from time to time,…read moreusually when meeting friends or colleagues. Despite its popularity, I find the food to be fairly average. Much of it tastes like it's made from standard commercial food-service ingredients rather than prepared fresh. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay but don't stand out. Coffee - 2/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.

My…read morepersonal favorite was the raw oysters - very fresh and the blueberry sorbet thing on the side was def very new to me. Was very refreshing for a hot day in LA. Calamari was not what I was expecting but a pleasant surprised - it tasted similar to nuoc mam wings but buttery and lighter. The chicken satay skewers were also very yummy. I really liked the pickled tiny onions on the side (they should add more than two imo). We also got the fried rice and wagyu but that wasn't very worth it in my opinion - for the price you pay extra for the meat and the portion/quality of meat it didn't feel worth it. Overall the place was good but I wouldn't say it was worthy of coming again unless a friend really wanted to try it.
