After waiting about 10 minutes, a staff member finally approached us--not to welcome us, but to tell us we couldn't sit there and needed a reservation. What made the experience frustrating was that there were plenty of open tables throughout the restaurant, yet no effort was made to accommodate us or offer any alternative solution. We completely understand that restaurants have reservation policies, but hospitality matters. A simple greeting when we arrived, an explanation of the policy, or an attempt to help us find a way to dine there would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt unwelcome and dismissed. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning.
