The food was very disappointing the "made in house potato chips" they were LAYS potato chips! And my plate came with about 7 chips total?! The "wild boar sloppy Joe" tasted like a sloppy Joe straight from the can! everything just felt sloppy and cheap. If I could go lower than a 1 star I would. read more

Came here for dinner with my husband and toddler hoping it would be a quick outing after waiting forever for our dinner the night before (you can check my other reviews). the Tiny Pony delivered and the food was great to boot! We ordered the BBQ cauliflower appetizer, chickpea salad and the sloppy Joe. They accommodated making a single burger patty for my toddler and gave him crayons and a coloring sheet which was very much appreciated. I always come to Tiny Pony when I am in the high desert. Not just because they have the best merch, but because it's such a welcoming place. The food is always solid and way more interesting than normal pub fare. They also have great DJ nights. Tonight I had Greyson as a server and he was fantastic. Super attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the menu. I would highly recommend Tiny Pony to anyone coming through town for a townie vibe, in a great way. Oh! And they upgraded the outside area since I was there last. It now has amazing heaters that make being outside in the winter, no big deal! And it looks super nice out there too. read more

Place has great reviews but it wasn't my favorite experience. My girlfriend and I went and we ordered a Caesar's salad. (It came with no croutons so basically just the lettuce cheese and dressing. I was craving a chicken sandwich. They sell a fried chicken sandwich and a burger. I liked the condiments on the burger option and noticed for $7 you can add grilled chicken to any dish! So I figured hey! Let's order the burger but ask to substitute the burger patties for grilled chicken. (Obviously intending to pay the price for adding it). The waitress said "I don't know how the kitchen would feel about that" .....so confusing. Why would the kitchen care? They offer grilled chicken as an add on. All they have to do is swap out the burger patties. If anything they make more money since I'm paying for both I'd be fine with all of this if the price was reasonable but it's priced a little higher than standard pub fair. I'm fine paying good money for good food. But no croutons. No substitutions even when they offer the substitution as an add on. (I even asked well what if I ordered the chicken on the side and swap the patties myself? How is that different haha) My girlfriend got the quinoa crunch bowl and it was basically just a bowl of lettuce with a hardly visible amount of quinoa. (We almost thought they forgot it but then found the tiniest sprinkle) Overall not lots of options in Joshua Tree so it did the job. But it could use some work on skimping on ingredients and flexibility with customer requests (especially when they're easily doable) read more

This is a lovely and fun place to visit near Joshua Tree National Park, although it gets busy and is pretty dark inside at night. Our group got dinner after visiting the park and enjoyed the different food and drink offerings. The staff was nice to help us move together two tables so we could sit together. They were on it with checking in on our group and keeping us happy. If it's not too cold, enjoy the outdoors area with the cute lights! When I was researching places to eat in the Joshua Tree area before my trip, I knew I wanted to stop at The Tiny Pony and factored it in for brunch. From the outside, you wouldn't think much about this place, you may even be inclined to pass right by, but it's such an unexpected gem inside. We arrived for brunch around 10:30am on Sunday and it wasn't crowded at all. You can choose your own table, so we picked a booth near the back. The decor is so cute and I particularly loved the cat photo wall. Although a QR code on the table mentioned ordering on your phone, we did end up having a server. I ordered the cowgirl coffee which was delicious and the breakfast sandwich which was perfectly filling and I loved the chipotle mayo. We also got a basket of fries with both sauce options and those were very good as well. My group enjoyed their food also and we all remarked that it was the perfect meal before heading out for a day of exploring. Service was quick so we were in and out pretty fast, but I would have loved to come back and properly hung out at this place. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular. We had a chance to pop in for dinner and drinks last weekend. We were able to find a seat at the bar and order. The staff were all super welcoming and friendly to two out-of-towners. They were able to cater to my wife's dietary needs (vegan), and had a great selections for her carnivore husband. Drinks were outstanding and food was impeccable. Hello, somebody recommended that we go to the Tiny Pony for good food in Yucca Valley... My sister and I are helping my mother move out of town, leaving tomorrow. She has been here for 28 years and we're just finding this place now? ! My sister and I ordered the breakfast burger with the egg over hard added avocado, and it was wonderful. We also got the tiny pony fries, which were also excellent. We liked both of the sauces (aïoli and ranch) as well. After perusing the bar menu, we also had to order the Big Ass G&T and it did not disappoint. Sadly, we are leaving town tomorrow for good, but anytime we are up in the Joshua tree area. We will definitely stop into this establishment. A fun happening spot. We were there Friday night for dinner so a lot of excitement around the drag show. Our wait person was great (and oh so cute) but food was mediocre. Yum,yum,yum! This was an amazing find in Yucca Valley. I did not have a high expectations for food given that it's a bar, but boy was I wrong. My party of 6 tried different dishes recommended by our server and I kid you not, everything we ordered was delicious. Duck confit nachos may sound weird but they were so freakin' good. The chicken sandwich was deliciously crunchy with a tasty coleslaw to go with it. The buffalo wings were crisp and flavorful. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Just seriously, EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! Now the beers, they were fresh and locally brewed. Try them. The menu isn't vast but everything on there is perfectly and tastefully cooked. I come here EVERY SINGLE TIME I pass through. Its kind of a rare treat for me and it never fails to impress. A menu of the sort that most people have never seen, much less will get to experience. Between duck confit nachos and maple miso shrimp tacos, this place cant miss. The bar itself is beyond fully stocked, with knowledgeable and fun bartenders to boot. Food was good. Tattoo waitress needs some lessons in being a nice person. We asked about tables because all other tables where full she replied. "Take the booth and read the fine print. If you have more than 4 people you can take a seat". Despite her rudeness, we decided to still stay (we were too hungry). Her attitude was horrible. Too bad gratuity of 20% was already included because she definitely didn't deserve that. Not coming back and would recommend for you to go elsewhere. The staff will be quick to move you to a different table, so yes they want you to choose your own table, but not the one you want to sit at. paying with a credit card? enjoy the 4% hidden fee for using a credit card. (it may say 4% fee for credit cards on the menu but it's intentionally well hidden) if you want a glass of water your server will instruct you on how to get your own cup of warm water from the community water pitcher. been there 5 times, first time was great but each visit thereafter went downhill fast.
