Mess up number one and two when the ticket came he charged for a drink for my kid when we ordered a kids meals. He fixed it and didn't bring the change intended to keep it for himself and I ask for the difference back and he ask back "are you sure?" As if I ask him to take the drink off and he keep the money. Placed an order on Ubereats and nowhere on the app did it give me the option to add a note to my order. The avocado toast comes with pico. My daughter hates tomato's and if the tomato touches her food she'll not eat it whatsoever. I called the store to let them know I wasn't allowed to put any notation but I don't want tomato on my avocado toast and it wasn't even mid-sentence and I was interrupted by Jordan who said the orders already placed and can't be modified. I asked him what was he talking about as I didn't even get to ask for the tomato's to be removed yet and was already told NO. Reynaldo gets on the phone and does the EXACT same thing that Jordan did. They both said on the weekend online orders can't be accommodated after placing them. Like what?! I'm not asking for add-ons. I'm just asking that you SAVE US BOTH the headache by not giving me tomato's and hey a little extra at the store. Idk but why was I given such a hard time for tomato's? Really made me upset! It seems like the staff is trained to not give the SAME service that they're offering the customers in the store as your online consumers. I know for a fact Third party brings in at least an extra $1k a week. Some of those customers are the same ones that come in to DINE. So for you to treat your online customers differently or not give the same quality of service and focus as you do to your guests at the store is SAD!! I definitely told him about himself and he DID handle it with professionalism. As I was on my way out the door I met Clarissa. When she came to the table she smirked and said she saw the waitress running looking for towels. She offered towels and had the waitress to bring the towels. She said she didn't know what happened. Been wanting to try Toasted Yolk but never gotten around to it till today. I'm so glad there's a location closer to me than the one on I-45. This location is clean and has indoor and outdoor seating in a nice area. It's pretty busy Sundays around 11 am for brunch. They'll tell you the wait is 30-40 minutes, but it was actually only 20 minutes. If you need a place to kill time, you can walk across the lot to Super Target or any of the other stores nearby. However, you only get 3 minutes or so once they text you that your table is ready, so be ready to run. My co-worker had to. Lol. I ordered the Southern Fried Arnold with hashbrown casserole and added an extra avocado for a decent price, not $5 like some other restaurants. -_-** The biscuit had a good flavor, the fried chicken was crisp, the egg was poached perfectly, and the white gravy with sausage was not salty or runny. The avocado and cholula hot sauce adds a great touch to the dish. The hashbrown casserole was cheesy. Glad to have a bit of fruit like cantaloupe and grapes to cut through the savory. My friends ordered the Alaskan Arnold, Belgian waffle with fresh blueberries on top, and the two egg breakfast deluxe. They enjoyed their dishes, except the Belgian waffle, which wasn't served hot. They made her a new one. She said it was dry. They have a decent selection of hot teas you can pick out of a box they bring. If you're not hungry and prefer to sit and be ignored than this is the place. It's the closest breakfast joint near my house and my wife and I have frequented this place multiple times, but time and time again you find yourself sitting not getting any service for 10, 15, 20 minutes before someone shows up and then no service after the food arrives. It's no better after you finished eating and you're waiting for a check, we've waited 20 minutes, 30 minutes just to pay and leave. The food is good if you manage to get it, but it seems like that's becoming more and more rare. I don't know if it's time for new employees or new management but this place needs to make some changes. Signed still hungry. read more

The pork chops were cooked perfectly and were juicy. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash brown casserole was off the charts. This place used to be really good however it is starting to become a Denny's! It's a still great atmosphere but the last two times I have been there I place me order and in less than 5 minutes I have luck warm food In front of me. Apparently my food was waiting on me to show up. My pancakes didn't even melt the butter they put on them in the kitchen. It's just not a good feeling for the price you pay here. read more

It's definitely made from a powder (which is okay because I know raw eggs and customers don't mix) but come on. At least add a bit of vinegar or lon to it. What can I say? The other day I was out early in the morning with my brother-in-law and we wanted to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. I had duck eggs, tortillas, salsa and sausage at home but there are those days where you just wanna grab a bite and keep on going. Today was one of those days. I looked at my trusty Yelp app and found that The Toasted Yolk Cafe was near by and had a decent rating. Now, please note that other rafters dont rate like I rate and I have had the displeasure of going to a restaurant that was rated much higher than they should have but this one looked, at least, above average. So we pulled the pin and went to the Toasted Yolk Cafe. The restaurant is in a relatively new development just south of 99 tucked in a strip mall. But since it is on the corner of the building there was plenty of light coming in, which really helped elevate the experience and played well with the breakfast restaurant theme. They had booths, bar tables, bar sitting, and regular tables. The host sat us at a bar table and I was a little apprehensive thinking that we would be uncomfortable in those seats but I was wrong. They were super soft and comfortable. We both ordered biscuits and gravy (also known as a "heart attack on rack") and two eggs on the side. I asked for mine to be sunny side up and a little runny. Our waiter disappeared and within a few minutes appeared with our order. I slid by eggs off of the plate and onto the top of the Biscuits and Gravy, thanked God for my food and began to eat. WOW. You may have read my review for the Oklahoma City breakfast restaurant called "HunnyBunny Biscuit". Well, I have to say that I am pleased to say that this B&G at The Toasted Yolk Cafe, edged out the B&G I enjoyed there. The difference is in the flavors. The Toasted Yolk was just superior. It was seasoned so much better. The biscuits themselves were smaller than the HunnyBunny Biscuits but I will take these over the mammoth biscuits at HunnyBunny any day. The only draw back to the place is it's coffee. You would expect for a great breakfast place to have GREAT coffee. But instead I was served watered down generic stuff. It was neither strong, nor flavorful. What a shame. But I'm coming back with my own brew, next time. :) read more

Food and waitress service was great, but we ran into a few issues. Ordered alcoholic drinks as soon as we were seated and the bartender missed the order and the waitress had to double back for it. The syrup brought out was super watered down and our pancakes were ruined. The waitress was quick identify the issue and re-order the stack of pancakes and bring out quality syrup. Recommendation: although it was busy when we came in, employees need to slow down and focus a little more, so small issues do not ruin what would've been a great experience. read more
