Food is ok, concept is jacked up. I placed my order at the kiosk cause I wanted to see all the options of the other vendors since it was my first time going. The employees are nice but they don't explain things well and so the whole process of getting your food and ordering is vague if it's your first time. I wanted to use a 20% yelp checkin code for first timers but there was nothing to type in. It took about 20 min for my food to come out. It was good, but I've had better. I will say the sauces were tasty so I poured that all over my chicken. Don't think I'll make the drive back out here for the food.

I love Hainanese chicken and saw a post on Facebook about this new ghost kitchen. Ordering online was easy and simple. Got a mixed chicken meal for my family of 4 where it is clearly stated no cilantros due to food allergies. Received a text confirming my order and another when food was ready with its locker location. Drove 23 mins from Sugar Land to pick up. I even replied to the initial text stating no cilantros. Well, surprised when we opened these nicely packaged food. Disappointing that they didn't take food allergies seriously since lots of cilantros in all dishes except the 3 sauces. Needless to day, 2 out of 4 people couldn't eat due to that. I ended up getting pizzas. Hubby said overall flavor was good but the soft chicken was a bit dry. Crispy ones were a bit overcooked with burned ends. Unsure if this is an off night since most reviews were good. Just my luck!

Everything was hard and dry. Huge disappointment.

I've eaten here twice and both times I've had issues. The first time I ordered from their website and picked it up from the cloud kitchen on Fairdale. These kitchens are setup for DoorDash, Uber Eats drivers not folks ordering and picking up for themselves. The person at the counter kept telling me to scan a code to get the order from a locker but I was not sent a code because I ordered from their website. They got that sorted out only to find that the locker assigned for my order was empty. Of course the cook in the Angry Moms Kitchen was no where to found. I did finally get my order but I waited over an hour for the cook to come back and remake it. All that being said since the food was just made it was delicious. Totally on point with the reviews and star rating here. The second time I went here the food was grossly overdone and inedible. It was like someone threw it in the fryer and forgot about it. The chicken thigh was bone dry, the skin was rock hard and the rice had large pieces of brown, shriveled ginger in it which I did not recall seeing the first time. Everything had to be thrown away and was a total waste of time and money. I can see they are capable of creating a tasty meal but they are not consistent and I don't play with my money like that. So for that reason, I'm out.

Ordered the crispy chicken and traditional chicken. The crispy chicken was very delicious - well seasoned, tender, and I like the to-go packaging with holes to maintain crispiness. Original chicken was a-okay. Reasonable pricing. Will order again and possibly try the tofu options next time.

Probably could be filled a little higher...

TLDR: I'm sorry momma, I never meant to hurt you... I'd be angry too if I didn't get a freshly prepared, hot and crispy chicken. Visit: Weekday (lunch) Order: Crispy Chicken Khao Mun Gai Rating: 7.1/10 This concept and the taste of the food has great potential, but on my first visit there were slight errors in execution that ultimately led to a less than desirable outcome. l'll admit, my food was fairly decent. While the flavor components of the soup (slightly more than half filled container), rice, and accompanying sauces were absolutely on point, the "crispy" chicken I received was a bit chewy, only slightly warm, and on the dry side. Given the price point of $17.17 (considering the additional processing fee/gratuity/tax), I would be more inclined to return had the star of the dish (the lackluster chicken) been fresher and crispier. This was my first time trying Angry Mom's Kitchen and I was intrigued by the multiple restaurant/one venue idea. The ordering process was a bit confusing as there was no one at the counter when I first entered. After meandering around I got the gist. There are two kiosk/pads at the entrance for delivery personnel who check in to receive their prospective food orders, while walk ins proceed to the counter to enter which "restaurant" and subsequently what dishes they're ordering. Eventually a worker did come out and politely questioned which restaurant I was there for, mentioning there were some that were not in operation at that time. After confirming Angry Mom's was good to go, the process was simple enough. Will I come here again? Maybe not soon, but I may just swing on through to see if this was just an off day. If that chicken was fresh, this very well could have an 8.4+ rating!

If you're ever in the mood for something new the Galleria, you can't go wrong with Angry Mom's crispy chicken! The ginger rice is definitely flavorful and pairs nicely with the comforting winter melon broth. A meal like this will have you thinking of a good ol' home cooked meal

This place was decent. It's hard to mess up Hainanese chicken, and this is one of the better places that specializes in it. Overall, the rice was well cooked and the chicken broth flavor was really apparent. The chicken was pretty moist and juicy. I would order again!

Steam chicken was dry, rice a little undercook. Ginger Sauce is good. Soup potion is small. Somehow the soup taste does come with the meal not accompany the Khao Mun Gai, gave a bitter taste. The soup should accompany the rice and chicken making u want more. I ate everything because I am hungry but it is not satisfying after I am done.

Not a restaurant at all, more like takeout food depot. Order at the kiosk, food delivered to a package locker, like Amazon.

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. Large serving size and great price. We also got papaya salad which was just right and nice spice. I wish I could come here often and try everything else on the menu.

Khao soi gai: 7/10 This was so flavorful and delicious but definitely should have opted for the chicken instead of the soft shell crab I wasn't really a fan of the crab. Love the flavors and textures though. Definitely want to try with chicken and I recommend getting some rice on the side. Pad mama: 9/10 This had a really yummy vibrant flavor with a good amount of protein and leafy greens. Could be spicier I think the just gave us a random spice level. Overall really yummy and good portion for the prices but would love to retry with more spice in the dishes.

I went for the first time with a group for restaurant week dinner. The tableware and drink glasses were all very nice, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The drinks were fun and uniquely presented, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and calm. I have celiac disease (gluten-free) and am vegetarian, and they were able to accommodate multiple options, which I really appreciated. For the food and drinks: - Nakorn Kopi: Their version of an espresso martini, with a fun dry ice cloud around the drink. It was pretty espresso-forward and not too sweet -- overall enjoyable! - Tom kha with tofu: Pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the seasonal mushrooms, and the broth was adequately sour. It was difficult to put a finger on, but it was missing some of the richness and depth of flavor of other tom kha I've had, perhaps related to the chili components or something else. - Drunken noodles with tofu: Pretty delicious, with well-cooked vegetables and a savory sauce, though not spicy. Unique touches included crispy kale and fresh sichuan peppercorn stems. - Mango sticky rice: Very disappointing. Despite it being summer mango season, the mango was firm, unripe, and not sweet. The dish was also not very creamy. They provided coconut cream in small plastic droppers that you could add yourself, but it did not seem like enough to fix the dish. My favorite parts were the small serving of ice cream and the gels on the side. I would have expected better for a $16 dessert. I couldn't eat these items, but others at my table shared that the vegan green curry with tofu and the taro cake were delicious. However, the hot basil mussels were not cleaned thoroughly enough and still tasted sandy and the Northeastern steak was a bit chewy. The lobster Pad Thai tasted like fairly typical pad thai with a small bit of lobster. While the presentation was fun or interesting for some dishes, several items were served as separate components when they may not necessarily have needed to be. For example, the pad thai was served with peanuts and chili flakes on the side for people to adjust to their preference. Still, the presentation, little details around the restaurant, and their attention to special celebrations is well done. Overall, I'd have to think about returning to try some of the other entrees mostly, but I would have expected the food to be more consistently refined.

For appetizers, we got the crispy squid and the crispy wonton- crispy squid was good but if you had to choose between the two, get the crispy wonton! As for the entree, I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and my friend ordered the spicy red snapper. The curry broth with coconut milk was fragrant and with the toppings that came on the side (i.e. lime, onions/shallots, mustard greens, etc) enhanced the dish. The flat egg noodles were bouncy and the shrimp was solid. If you're stuck between choosing a curry dish and a noodle dish, get the best of both worlds and order the Khao Soi! As for my friend's spicy red snapper, I tried a bite and the spices/texture in the dish complimented the fish very well. For dessert, we ordered the classic Mango Sticky Rice! The mango was soft/sweet, the rice and sauce had that salty coconutty flavor. It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and hopefully next time the hospitality matches the quality of the food.
