Let's check out the cocktail and 2-course meal I explored. Frozen Strawberry Margarita: This frozen margarita may be small in size, but strong enough for a nice solid buzz. The frosty cocktail is mixed with tequila, strawberries, with salt along the rim, a lime, and an umbrella. Mac N' Cheese Bites: This appetizer includes three fairly large balls. They are breaded on the outside and packed with macaroni and cheese on the inside; also included is a side of queso and salsa. Mother In Law's Revenge Burger: The toppings on this specialty burger include cheese, chili, jalapenos and sour cream. Although it was loaded with condiments, it was still easy to hold. It has quite a kick. In addition to a decent meal, the vintage decorations truly caught my eye. There is a variety of life size mannequins and statues. The retro machines that are no longer operable, but really neat to admire. It's like visiting an antique shop except you cannot purchase anything. Seating options extend beside the traditional bar or dining tables. The bartender works both the bar and dining area, so please be patient with the service. This past Saturday night I was heading to a Metal show over at Racket NYC which was formerly known as the Highline Ballroom in case anyone was curious. When some other friends announced that they were going as well, we all planned on meeting somewhere for some drinks and eats. Now, I don't drink anymore but I used to love the burger at McKenna's which we learned had been closed for months based on recent neighborhood construction and sadly their future is up in the air about being in another location. Among the other choices I remembered the Trailer Park Lounge which was not too far away and recalled that it was it was very kitschy and the food was good when I had last been there about ten years ago. My friends agreed and found that it had a similar vibe to a bar we all loved named Duke's which is also long gone and since their goal was beers, shots and something to eat, the Trailer Park Lounge won the coin toss. I should mention that there was not coin tossed and myself and the events field commander for the night mandated that was where we were heading. We all sat at the bar and just took it all in since there is a lot of wild stuff to see around the bar. A vintage jukebox that doesn't work and all sorts of gas station and food service sights. On the main opposing wall of the bar is a full size trailer but its not something you can go in as its only the side and is attached to the wall. I snapped a lot of photos to include here in this Yelp for the curious. In addition to the spaces at the bar there was a nook into the front which is great for a small group, then some tables off to the side and in the back past the bar. My friends had PBR beers and some shots while one had some kind of vodka drink in a can that reminded me of the White Claw's and I had an exciting Sprite. Two of our number had the Philly Cheesesteak which looked awesome but I opted for a bacon cheeseburger having had that on my mind at the onset. Of course after I ordered this I took notice of a bar placard that lauded a very tasty looking fried chicken sandwich. Next time for sure. I had said burger cooked to my preference and it came with tater tots, a favorite, and tomato, lettuce and pickle and also an onion slice which I cannot handle anymore so I shared that along. The burger was quite good and hit the spot. Our server/bartender was Amanda and she was cool but wasn't the chattiest sort. There was a decent crowd and they are there to work more than talk about endless minutia from patrons, myself included but we all were pleased with the level of speed and service. A downside was no Wi-Fi at all and I think in this day and age that more bars should look into this. Especially when you have the kind of stuff that this one has all around the space. Though I cannot determine when I will be back, I will for sure be returning. I guess it all falls upon what show might be coming to the Racket NYC club next. Overall this is a good choice. read more

What a unique spot! I was just passing by when the neon lights out front grabbed my attention and I had to check it out. Once inside, I was completely amazed by the vintage decor - it is absolutely everywhere! Old-school advertisements, antique vending machines, some Elvis memorabilia, and tons of other retro stuff filling every corner. Kitschy and fabulous! Love this dive as a fun catch up spot. It stands out in Chelsea, and NYC in general, bringing the best of the retro diner-y + trailer park vibes to a city that generally takes itself quite seriously. The drinks are great, and they have good happy hour deals. The staff got me seated and checked up on me while I waited for my friend to get off work, and some friendly regulars also started talking to me, which was nice. I tried the vegetarian nachos, and they exceeded my expectations and actually inspired me to make more nachos at home, haha. Out of all the places we could have ended up on a random weeknight, I'm glad we ended up at the Trailer Park Lounge! After a friend recommended this, we stopped by for a couple drinks. I love the vibe on the outside and interior. It definitely lived up to its name. Drinks were strong and tasty - they came in solo cups or small plastic lunchroom glasses. A fan for years, I visited mid-March 2026 and ordered a plain burger, no tots, and a sprinkle of onions in lieu of the tots. I was charged an extra 4.95 for the cheese and onions. A mixed drink (margarita, I think) cost $20. I thought both prices were exorbitant. I visited again recently to see if my prior visit was unusual, and was given a drink in a juice glass. Given that the burger tasted nothing like it had in years' past, the tourist prices and juice glass, I will not visit again. I wish I hadn't recommended it to so many people. read more

It's New York's idea of trashy southern trailer parks (I do hail from Kentucky). Menu is SUUUPER basic--burgers, sliders, BEC, sloppy joes, trashy trailer park Tex-mex--I mean that in the nicest way possible. Very limited drink menu--only a couple drinks for single people, the rest are large/double drinks for couples, or pitchers for multiple people. Rum, pineapple, frozen margaritas and peach schnapps. You shouldn't expect gourmet cocktails & food in a trailer park. People were enjoying themselves in this dive bar. This has been one of my favorite spots in the city since 2004. Every time I come in here it feels like a warm hug. The decor is the same as it ever was and the warm welcome from the staff when you arrive just confirms my love for this spot. Their "famous" margaritas are consistently good and the food, while not "5 star cuisine", is exactly the food you remember from being a kid. It is comfort food vibe is perfection if that's what you are looking for that night. I truly can't recommend this place more if you are looking for a cozy throw back in a manhattan that has been taken over by cooperate overlords. Trailer park is the savior! read more

I first visited this place about 20 years ago, and when I lived in the neighborhood I used to go there pretty frequently around 2010. it's always been a fun, bar leaning on the divey side. I visited recently for the first time in a long time, I was pleased to see that the decor hadn't changed, but the prices are just absolutely absurd. $18 for a plain cheese quesadilla, $22 for a large (1 pint) margarita, $7 for a side of guac, $16 for a small bowl of veggie chilli.......2 drinks + 2 meals served on disposable plates came to slightly under $100 including tip. But this is a bar that charges: $6.50 for a flipping can of pbr. You read that right. That's not even a tallboy. I only went in this weekend because my partner had never been and he was curious. I was surprised because I had been at least two or three times but many years ago. The prices here were never great but they were never this bad. I just don't get the schtick of a cheap run down trailer park charging almost sixty dollars for just basic margs. The service was also really weird. We came in and it was hard to find a seat at the bar so we were situated on the end. It took awhile to gain the attention of the bartender and he ran off before checking our vax info. We moved because seats opened up in a less cluttered area. He seemed to get really annoyed and asked for the cards again which were sitting on the counter waiting for him to look at. But he ran off again. When he came back he asked if we were alright and had a problem which was incredibly rude. The rest of the night he was flirting with these two girls that were eating nacho cheese dip and having the time of their lives. So I don't know. Everything was just off putting. I should start off with the fact I came here specially for vibes and drinks during a Monday pre dinner get together with girl friends. So can't say anything about the food but 7 PM Mondays are chill vibes. A few folks sitting but still had a few booths open and plenty of space at the bar. They're popular for their pitchers but didn't get an opportunity to try - I so wanted to try the canned Champagne but they didn't have any but did try their canned wine which was delightful and strong! The atmosphere and decor is really bar none - so fun. Bar tender was attentive and sweet. All around good spot to get a quick drink and catch up.
