Recently I've encountered at least two occasions when they were not open when I've gone despite posted hours indicating they should be.

I sent a package from NH to WI on December 9, 2025. The package made it to Elm Grove then was returned to sender. They claim the address is vacant. I verified multiple times that the address on the package was CORRECT. IT IS CORRECT. The recipient has lived at this address for over 20 years with no UPS issues in the past. I just sent it again. I had a very large package heading across country--very expensive to ship. When we tracked it, we found that it as being returned to sender (me!) for unknown address issues. WE WERE SO FRUSTRATED! The Brookfield Store, especially the manager, was so responsive to our inquiry and helped us send it again at no cost. They really advocated for us, and it felt like they truly wanted to make it right. What was frustration, turned into appreciation that they didn't just brush us off! I rarely ever leave reviews. Avoid this UPS store if possible. They sent my time sensitive package back to sender because there wasn't an apartment number listed. I live in a house... not an apartment. The address was correct. The driver assumed it was an apartment- not sure how something like this could happen when the address was CORRECT. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Arrived a few minutes before 2:00 pm. Closing time 2:00 pm. A young man was fiddling with the lock and blocked the door. I had a large package. He turned to me and made a 'cut throat" and mouthed "closed". Worst service ever. read more

This store is really convenient but not professional. The manager need for teach the people how to correctly converse. Went In To send a package - first the personal info collected was evasive. You need my phone number?? The Feds at USPS do t ask and I am NOT required to give that. I don't need to be entered into a marketing database. The Indian girl asked me "what's in the box?" I answered "nothing on the list of None spendable products" the list you see at the federal USPS locations. She said "no, I need to know what's in the box" "Specifically ?" I asked She said "yes" "That's personal, it's personal items?" She just looked at me confused. I didn't want to say. That's none of you're business and I am not required to say what specifically is in this box. You do t have any right to ask me. So an American man came out who should know the rules and laws of Privacy as well none sendables - he is the manager. He said the same thing "I need to know what's in the box or there will be no insurance on your postage?? " That's not true - he over stepped and lied. My postage that I purchased comes with insurance and you do NOT the authority to change that. Iam not required to give you specifics on anything. I evoke my privacy rights - I am not doing anything dubious that's what the scanners are for. The encroachment on privacy these days it atrocious. I won't let that go lightly and I will not succumb to it. I feel the older man manager thinks it feels he is some sort of security for mailing. That is NOt his job. Then he said "customs might take you're package" "What, It's going to CO customs isn't involved, US security is and all packages go thru a through scan and dogs at the transfer hub - it's not this guys job to PROFILE customers packages and invade my privacy. I wrote a formal complaint to the UPS office manager in Elm Grove and he said he would send the letter to corp. It's a branch off store of UPS so that's probably why they aren't professional and feel they should be able to police packages and then lie about customs and package insurance to intimidate me to tell him specially what's in it. Get you're verbiage correct - I do t want to be told wrongly about government privacy rights by a teenager Indian girl who clearly wasn't properly trained. You can't just make up stuff you are working for a corporation in which you have rules to go by. My privacy is my right !! Won't be going here again and it looks like they have quite a few issues by the all the negative reviews. I sent the letter and I will be awaiting follow up. I was recording my interaction. I had my first Amazon return ever, defective product after all the years shopping with them and I didn't know how the return process worked. The return options were easy and realistic, I could print my label but I know my printer doesn't work and it's a paper weight right now. The I don't have a printer was an option so I opted for that which cost a $1, not a big deal but they email you a code that the UPS store scans and prints the label for you which I did. This UPS store was a few blocks from me which I never knew so I took a picture of the code I was given with my phone to show the store. First off the guy says it's a picture of the code and it would likely not scan so he scanned my phone anyway, good quality picture by the way and imagine that, it scanned instantly and I was in and out in minutes. The store itself looked like a hoarder lived there with piles of shipping supplies that you can walk around and maybe it's just organized chaos, it was after work and I had other stops to make so I didn't take many pictures. I hate to say it but the post office that I go to looks organized compared to this UPS store so I'm neutral on this store, I was not wowed or disappointed and it fulfilled my needs. read more

I would like to recommend this business for stellar service and shipping/packing. My Mother-in-law ships items from Milwaukee all the way to Southern California, A few times the boxes have weighed over 100 pounds. Customer service at this location is excellent. They pack and secure the items to perfection. When the items arrive to me the box is well secured and the food is still frozen, such a great job and packing it. The distance between Milwaukee Wisconsin and California it's over 2000 miles. California doesn't sell these food items. EXCELLENT SERVICE AT THIS UPS LOCATION. read more

Beware of these, The UPS Store franchises. Especially this one. Yes, they are agents of UPS Co. However, they do not represent them well at all. The representative of this store will respond here. You can count on it. The customer service here is nothing short of abhorrent. They will attempt to teach you a lesson if you do not jump through their hoops. If you decide to just drop your PRE-PAID labeled package(s) onto their counter without formally waiting, they will attempt to punish you by NOT processing them in any timely manner. Therefore, as an example your Amazon return REFUND gets delayed. As I pointed out to them, if someone is hacking and coughing on me in line, I'm out of there. They claimed I didn't care enough about my package so that's their reasoning. I call them Jackasses with zero capabilities to reason. I will just go to the main UPS Elm Grove facility where they make this so uncomplicated. They're ok if you just set down your prepaid labeled packages! Yay! read more

He truly lacks professionalism. I had to return an amazon item and I couldn't find the QR code. I asked the black guy for some assistance and he didn't move. I finally decided to leave the store. I am staying at a hotel in the area and merely needed some simple copies of a letter. The black guy working at the one on Calhoun and Bluemound was just outrageous! First there were only 2 of us waiting and yet he instructed me to stand on the #2 circle on the floor. Then was giggling with her for no reason, got to me and became serious and condescending in demeanor, pointed at a somewhat complicated copier and said make them there. I asked for help with it as it's my first time there and he stared like it was an unreasonable request! Turned out it Was complicated to do the right steps including payment at the right time! Say it this way, after going through all that horrible customer service treatment I went out and bought a cheap all-in-one printer as I'll never go through that nonsense again! read more

I asked for some help was told the UPS store couldn't help me since I had my own account, they could only deal with their account. I asked if I could use the WIFI. The guy looked at me and said. "We don't have wifi." I asked clarifying questions "You don't allow others to use your wifi or you don't have wifi" he said they don't have WIFI. So this franchise of a billion dollar corporation doesn't have wifi. The widowed 80 year old neighbor of mine has wifi but this business doesn't. Shocking that the rest of the scenario worked out as it did. Then I asked "do you have a computer I can use to print out the label" (I have my own UPS account). Response - yes there's a computer over there. Great! But I had to pay $2.00/min to use it. Yup, had to pay $2.00/minute to use a printer to print a UPS label at a UPS store, to ship a UPS package. You guys NAILED it. I have called this store at least a dozen times, trying to get resolution on a package damaged in transit. This UPS store packed an antique frame for shipment from Brookfield to Redmond, Oregon. The item was poorly packed and roughly handled, and delivered to the wrong address. It arrived damaged. The sender (my sister) paid for additional insurance for the item. I finally tracked down the package in mid-November, 2020. I called immediately to report the damage, photographed the damage to both the item and the box, and forwarded the photos, as directed, to the store manager. Later, I obtained an estimate for repairing the frame (as I was directed to do), and forwarded that to the store as well. I have received no response since mid-December, despite repeated phone calls and emails. The national UPS customer service number was no help, telling me I have to work with the store. My recommendation? Ship via FedEx or USPS! read more

Go to this store once a year to get something notarized. This place always looks like a disorganized mess but assume that they ship so many things daily so this is why. People aren't very outgoing and don't go out of their way to be nice. I always go at the end of the day so maybe they're tired but it's never right when they close. I could take or leave this place. It's a convenient location but if they don't care whether you're there or not, doesn't really matter. They could use some customer service skills, especially the notary. read more

Years ago I tried all three UPS stores in Brookfield shipping the exact same packages for my business and this store costs about 30-50% more than the other. Today, it still is the same.
