I had a car full of groceries because the Postal Annex that I'd tried to go to near my work closed at 6 and I was there at 5 after 6. My grocery store was open so I did my shopping first, and then remembered the UPS store near my house. I usually don't go there because the parking situation can be horrible but today, it wasn't a problem. I'd printed the mailing label from the online store to which I was returning shoes but I hadn't taped it up or added peanuts. I was calculating it was going to cost about $6 or $7 to make it ready for mailing. Surprisingly, a cheerful bearded employee took the label and waved off my suggestion that I buy foam peanuts, saying they weren't necessary for shoes. He didn't charge me a cent and had me out the door in two minutes! WHAT GREAT SERVICE! I'll definitely go back there more often now. read more

I called at 8:55 am to ask if I needed an appt for notary services. I was told no just come on in. I got there at 10:15am. There was a gentleman with what appeared to be a large package of documents requiring notary services. I was told I would be next. I waited and waited. The man even joked that it was a large package. Some 40 mins later I was helped, my transaction took 5 mins. It was until I was helped did the staff apologized for the long wait. I told them it would of been a good idea if they would of told me how long it was going to take. That way I could make an informed decision and waited or left. Fred, would appears to be a nice person said he did not know how long it was going to take. I told him he is the expert and could of provided an estimate. Got my document notarized with minimal conversion. I realize they have no control as to who comes in requesting these services, but they can provide an estimated wait time without having to read more

The guy at the counter with blue nails and beard didn't seem too interested in wanting our business. We were wanting to ship our package overseas and were cooperating with the questions he was asking regarding the package. We were telling him the contents of the package since he asked but at that point he wasn't documenting what we were telling him. As we were trying to remember and list everything in the package he just seemed to stare blankly and not take note of any of it. So after a few minutes of that we decided to take our business elsewhere. The blue nail guy didn't seem interested in wanting our business there anyway. You would think that your employees would want to help customers and that they would be more understanding. But maybe this UPS likes losing business and customers as we will never go here again. Would highly recommend the post office over this place- nicer employees who are way more knowledgeable about shipping and everything we needed to know in general. So I would not recommend this place at all. Maybe try another UPS location, just not this one. read more

I went here a few months ago to ship a tire I had sold on eBay. I don't remember exactly, but the price was somewhere around $50. It sounded too steep for me so I left and shipped it cheaper at a different private shipping company for about $20. read more

The UPS Store just made my day. I have a big meeting tomorrow and needed some reports printed up just right and bound into a great looking portfolio. Unfortunately, my first stop was a major office store and that was disaster. Finally, I cancelled with the office store and went over to The UPS Store. Worst customer service ever! Mind you this is only in regards to phone issue, not the actual store encounter. The beginning of September I picked up a package, this week I received a notice saying I still had a package. Knowing I didn't order anything I called to verify that there was in fact a package. Eric answered the phone and asked to put me on hold a few minutes asked how he could help. I told him and he said well, it's in the system so you must have not got it (because data errors never happen). I asked if he could please check so I don't drive there and nothing is there. He said he could but would have to check packages after the customers in store could I hold. I said yes. I waited on hold for a good while and then got a hang up. I called back and got Eric again and told him I had been on hold and was hung up on;his response was yes, I know. I still had a lot of customers. When I asked to speak to a supervisor his reply was he doesn't work weekends. Is there a person I can contact in regards to your lack of concern for customer service? He replied, "no, but you can try on Monday." Really, UPS this is how you treat people who are renting boxes??! You charge them upfront and then decide service doesn't need to given. This is the worst shipping center I have ever had to deal with. The driver for my area, which is 30 minutes from this location, refuses to drop off packages in our gated complex. Mind you there is a shipping center 5 minutes from my place, but no, I have to deal with this place. The driver always puts an excuse that the package needs to be signed for in person. A $50 household item does not need a signature in person! I called ups to file a complaint. They had this shipping center call me. The guy basically said it's up to the driver to determine if a package needs to be signed for. I said I wanted to file a complaint; his answer was he would talk to the guy. I asked to file a former complaint and he said all he could do was talk to him. This place is awful. It makes me wonder if the driver says things need to be signed for in person so he can case a joint or worse. These people are rude and should all be fired!!!!! I have watched them throw a new rug in dirt, bang on neighbors windows to be let in a gate when they have a gate code for the front gate. I'm done with this place and will do everything possible to see they be held accountable! read more

Very inconvenient delivery methods are used by you guys, since i didn't have a "My choice"account i couldn't specify what times we as a company are available, but oh wait "my choice" accounts aren't for companies-so whats to do then. Basically today i get this final attempt notice and when i called to see if the package could be delivered AT THE TIME OUR OFFICE IS OPEN, the rep said usually they're drivers see our store hours and come back when we are available, yet this wasn't the case since it isn't the first time this has happened. Turns out it was too late and the package is being sent back to its sender so now I'm gunna have to pay another 30 dollars to have it reshipped so thanks for being useless UPS you guys are GREAT. read more

One guy is having technical problems so the other employee abandons customers for a big line to form. While he's fiddle faddling with the technical issues (which didn't work), he could have easily let a few customers go by. When it was my turn he helps the person behind me because it was faster, and that was clearly not true because he helped me in the same amount of time. He was having a power trip. read more

I often receive priority mail, but in the last 4 times I was told it didn't arrived, I went and complain to the manager and he said this year has been difficult and they would try to have my mail , today my husband went at 1 pm and AGAIN was told they had nothing, they went as far as " checking in the system " and said, we have nothing, I have the confirmation from USPS , it was delivered at 10 am !!! Since today we won't be able to go again to show them the confirmation guess what? Money down the drain...I can't get my money from USPS since they DID do their job, is UPS store going to reimburse my money for their lack of responsibility? read more
