I came to this IPS Store because of the convenient location. It took more than 30 minutes to print a label and send my package when there was only 1 person ahead of me. I appreciated Fred's help, but he got so distracted in helping other people that came in after I did, that he did not finish with me. There were 3 others working the front desk but disappeared as the line grew. Fred gets very distracted with other people that he just does not finish with the person that came in first, me. Fred measured boxes, went to find the telephone in the back, while another employee answered the phone, cleared off the scale area for another lady when he needed to weigh my package. After about 10 trips or so to this store, I felt compelled to leave a good review. I primarily come here to drop off my Amazon returns. I've been buying from Amazon for quite sometime but always hesitated returning items because I felt like it would be such a hassle. I was surprised to learn that I could drop off my returns at UPS, and this store was close to home. After my first experience returning items here, I was pleasantly surprised again how easy it was. pros... go to this location for the best customer service at any ups store. i know i used to work for them as a payroll clerk. Brandon and Thomas are the best, and will make you cry from laughing so hard as they cheerfully do their business. my story begins... went here last week to ship my dad's satellite dish back to dish network. we were pleasantly greeted by the two workers, Brandon and Thomas. we dropped off three receivers, remote controls and one huge dish which was still fully assembled. Brandon immediately starts trying to break down the satellite dish so it will be smaller and cost less. and Thomas goes about repacking the three receivers cause our boxes are too messed up. Brandon realizes that he doesn't have the tools in the shop. so he rushes out to his car to get some tools. no luck he doesn't have it. so now he gets the tools from the near by cox cable store, and immediately starts to break down the satellite dish. meanwhile, the other half of the dynamic duo is repacking the three receivers, and is almost done. but then we realize that we don't have the shipping address to return the equipment back. so my wife calls my dad to get the information, but he doesn't have it. in the mean time Brandon is looking on the internet for the address. you would think dish network would make this easy, but no! so now my wife is getting the account number and phone number so we can call dish network and get it ourselves. in the mean time Brandon is doing the same. so now it is a race to see who will get the freaking address. i am on the phone with customer service as is Brandon. in the meantime, Thomas is on the phone with a customer that wants some information about his shipment, but Thomas can't give it to him cause the man doesn't have the receipt with the all important shipping numbers. now people are flooding into the store, as Thomas is flying about the store, practically knowing everyone coming into the store personally. while Brandon and i are still one the phone with dish networks customer service trying to get the return address. finally Brandon wins by two seconds, cause he can type the address directly into the computer while i was just writing it down. needless to say we got it shipped out, two boxes back to dish network, in 30 minutes and with great customer service. cons... never do my dad a favor by shipping stuff back to dish network without all the information. don't believe my dad when he says "i called dish network and they said to send it to the ups store, they will know what to do." sure dad, just didn't want to do it yourself. but it was a good time had by all as Brandon and Thomas recounted stories, in two languages no less, Thomas habla espanol. read more

Life saved!!!! I walked into the store today because of a package I sent off had the wrong address. Fortunately, I was helped by Rafael, and he went into action right away. I was nervous that it would be to late to do something about it, but after he gave me a reassured look in telling me it was fixed, I very happy to hear it. BUT I ended up coming back 10 minutes later finding that there was another error due to the zip code which was on my end. I felt bad that I had to put Rafael in another phone call which I know I would hate doing myself. Just like before he went right back and fixed the issue right then and there. Rafael sure does set the bar for how customer service should be, especially of how professional and nicely he deals with his customers. I hope he gets recognized or sees this. Thank you again Rafael! This place is fantastic! I became a mailbox holder late last year when I moved across the border and needed a physical street address to receive most mail/packages and that's exactly what I get here. Instead of a PO box, you get a street address with an attached personal mailbox number. This way UPS/USPS/DHL/FedEx, etc... can all deliver here with no issue. Their store hours are pretty standard and the store is conveniently located right off the 805 making it easy to get to even during high-traffic times. You can get 24 hour access to your mailbox too with a key-deposit making it even more convenient for you!! Every single staff member here has been knowledgeable, friendly, quick and efficient. Personal story: I had a whole bunch of packages delivered here one day and I have a little coupe-- one of the packages wouldn't fit in the back or in the trunk so they let me take the item out of the cardboard packaging and they helped me dispose of all the cardboard and styrofoam fill and then offered to wheel all of my crap out to the car. True gentlemen !! I appreciate this business and I appreciate the employees here! read more

These guys are professional and friendly. If you're a regular customer they'll remember your name but they know their business and they stick to their guns when it comes to doing things correctly. Like the other reviewer I've had them go out of their way to work things out when I needed a little extra help. I needed a document notarized on short notice so I called ahead. I was concerned because I has cutting it close considering the time they normally close on Saturday, but when I got there I was impressed--they had everything all set waiting for me. Awful Service especially from Alex. Shipped an overnight priority envelope to this location for a friend. They told him it did not come in. I called it was about 1:45pm and it said the envelope was delivered at 9:42am. They said there were 50 envelopes delivered and had not looked at them. I explained it was an emergency that I is why we paid for overnight and it took me forever to get an answer as to if they had the envelope which I had proof they received it. He just wanted to keep repeating there is a $10.00 charge. Thank goodness my UPS store I use regularly is amazing. read more

I plan on moving to Rosarito Mexico to pursue online poker, and have been told the mail system in mexico is basically impossible, & there is a need to have a mail service go into the states to pick up & delvier my mail to me. Holy cow. I ordered a relatively large print job late at night. (4 items, one 400+ pages) One of the options said it would be ready the next afternoon. Color me amazed that it would be that quick. I chose an hour before closing time just to give them most of the day to do it. Well.... When I went to pick it up, it wasn't ready. The staff couldn't even find the order in their system. Jazmin - the only person working there that day - eventually found it while dealing with the flurry of customers coming in. While dealing with other customers, Jazmin printed and assembled my order. Come to find out, there's usually two people working there, and my print job was the first one she did at that store. She even stayed well past closing time (about 45 minutes past) to finish my order. Through all of this she remained polite. pleasant and courteous. I think the kids today call that 'like super awesome'. This could have been a disastrous order if not for Jazmin's professional attitude. read more

If I was able to give a rating with no stars I would. I had give his store this rating because I went in on a Saturday at about 2 PM to ship some shoes to my niece in Connecticut and was charged a48 $ to ship them there to get them there by Monday before her big game. At about four I get a phone call from this store saying they did not get my package to the driver on time and it would not ship out until Monday. When I came into the store to find out what the problem was I was told there was nothing they could do about it and it would still cost me the same amount for them to get there by Tuesday early morning I said fine ship anyway because she would still be able to get them before her big game. The shoes did not make it until Wednesday! When I spoke to the store they put the blame on UPS when I told them it wasn't UPSes fault and UPS put the blame on them for not giving them to the carrier on time now instead of getting a full refund from the store immediately for their mistake I have to wait till they clear a claim with UPS and have UPS cut me a check for the money I spent for next day air which I did not get! I personally will never ship with UPS or the store again. This happened on Saturday 12/9... I writing this review on Sunday 12/17... with no refund yet to be given from the store or UPS Update: Check from UPS received on 12/26... i also received a message from the owner. This place is horrible!!!! Last month I ordered tickets through Vivid. They sent them through UPS, well UPS delivery guy dropped them off at the wrong address. I called and they stated someone had signed with just my last name, that i should go to the house where they got delivered to and claim them. Why should I go? They also advised me to call the seller back (which i did) unfortunately they put everything right therefore there was nothing they could do. UPS refused to take responsibility and refund me. $372 down the drain, I went to speak to the manager and him as well as his workers looked at me crazy. I told them their driver signed for me, i would never sign just with my last name! They didn't even try and help me, I will for sure make arrangements to pick the items myself at another location!! read more
