Stopped by here to print out one paper on card stock. When I walked in the and told the girl what I needed she asked if she could put the card-stock in the printer in the front and then decided to do it to the one in the back. She had me email the form to their system. Sent the email and another lady came from the back to finish. Paid and left and then looked at the receipt and realized the price of $4.14 for one piece of card stock to be printed is quite steep. On my receipt there is a $3.50 "customer service comp" .50 specialty paper and .09 8.5x 11 copy. THEY ARE CHARGING $3.50 TO OPEN AN EMAIL AND HIT PRINT. ONE PIECE OF PAPER. ONE PIECE. $4.14 for one piece of paper. Let that one sink in. I called the store to ask the lady and she said yes, because I had them print it that is the service fee. She said if I would have done it myself it wouldn't have been added but since I needed card stock she had to do it. I told her they have lost a customer because I could have gotten this printed at postal annex or Office Depot for $1.50 at the most. I needed notary services too and asked pricing but I will now be going somewhere else as I will drive father away from my home to get services instead of paying hidden fees to this business. Customer service here is terrible. The employees make it seem like they're doing customers a favor and not like they are getting paid too. Brought an Amazon return in and it was a long box and I accident's bumped the register screen and he got irritated even though I apologized. Then as he was doing my return he asked me a question about and when I asked him to repeat what he said because I didn't hear him he just said "never mind" with an attitude. Last time I'll come here for a return. Just happy the 2 returns I've made here have made it back to Amazon. read more

They have the friendliest staff here Jocelyn & Mariel helped me a lot with my amazon & at&t returns. Amazon made it confusing for me because they provided different codes & instructions but with their assistance everything went smooth. The line was long but they were able to accommodate me quickly. They are very patient & will walk you through & answer questions if you need any help. I just felt bad that one of the customers felt so privileged that complained about packaging & taping fee were charged and was so rude to the store employees. It is not their fault that he chose not to read instructions. These people DO NOT work for amazon. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I sent my teenage son that is in Hawaii working and studying. I sent his vehicle registration so that he could register the vehicle in Hawaii and Joshua lost my package. I paid $168 plus and it never got to the destination. Poor customer service on a Monday morning from the short Asian lady. Was coming to this location for years because they never required me to tape up a box, which takes 2 seconds. She reminded me of their company policy that all boxes must be taped first. so looks like I'll be going to FedEx from now on when the choice comes up. No clue why it all of a sudden became a big deal today, for absolutely no reason. Our son's computer kept getting blue screen and it was under warranty, so we sent it back using UPS in Eastlake. We paid for the insurance. It got damaged during shipment and UPS had us pay for the repair, with the promise to reimburse us after the fact. I don't know how many months and how many phone calls from us (not ever them reaching out to us) later and we still haven't been reimbursed. Yeah, yeah, sure people at the Eastlake store are friendly enough and blame the headquarters, but at some point that has no value. We're at the cry wolf point now. Why should we even have to pay up front for the damage UPS caused is beyond us! And then not reimburse us for it! Probably the worse customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I was disappointed when I arrived at this store earlier today after making a appointment online with a notary for 1pm and the associates working explained the notary doesn't arrive until 5pm and does walk-in services. I made my appointment in advance online and received 2 confirmation emails, including a reminder this morning about the appointment. I scheduled my whole day around being able to make this appointment and needed it to mail out a form by tomorrow. The sales associates couldn't have been nicer and explained that they don't have access to the website to fix it. I hope the management can help fix this issue so that it doesn't inconvenience others in the future. 5 stars to the staff, 1 star for the service as I wasn't able to get my document notarized here and had to take my business elsewhere. read more

In order to save you wasted time, whatever you plan to do at any UPS store be sure to CALL AHEAD and make sure they know what they're doing. When we needed passport photos a few weeks ago, two Chula Vista stores including this one said their photo machines had been inoperative for months/years with no plans to repair or replace them. I'm glad I called first. Furthermore, the Eastlake UPS store is very poorly run. I took a heavy bag of shredding, over $20 worth which was paid for beforehand of course, and was then told by the clueless clerk to leave the bag just sitting there in the lobby because he didn't know how to do his job. Apparently the combination to the shredding bin is a mysterious bit of esoteric knowledge available to only one select and extremely unavailable and remote individual because even calling someone didn't help as that person was equally ignorant of how to perform his duties. So rather than making a big deal by asking for a refund and leaving with my huge and heavy bag of papers, no, instead feeling discouraged, I stood there for over an hour, putting each paper in the tiny little slot one by one. Sigh. So call ahead for shredding, or even the simplest task, really, but especially for shredding, to make sure they know what to do before you go all the way there just wasting your time. I went to print a document, and they wanted to charge me $1.10 PER PAGE! I have never paid so much for a printing service. I was going to pay about 30 dollars for printing 28 pages.. Overall good service but the lady with the green hair was unprofessional for no reason at all towards me. She wasn't even the one helping me out. I had to go outside to retrieve my phone from my car (I forgot it to see my shipping label) then outside again to receive service so my label would send via email to the guy helping me out. Yet again, I had to go back inside to look at the e-mail they post on the back of the computer to use it and she proceeded to say "stop coming in here" in front of another customer. I didn't say anything and walked back outside for my e-mail to send so I could leave. Inconsistent policies, very unprofessional...and it always depends who you talk to - no standards. Has taken me several trips, several times until they straightened themselves out. They don't answer the phone, and has no answering voicemail. When they are busy and I kept calling, they would pick up and immediately hang up. If you need UPS, it is worth the trip to another location. If not, go to another franchise entirely. read more

When I was there, the line was super long, which isn't all that bad. The person ahead of me needed a printing job that was apparently done on paper with things already on it, which ruined her order. Then someone on the phone mentioned their package was missing and never got shipped (this should have been my sign). I barely got a shipping email a day later, showing that the name is wrong on the package, so I know it won't be delivered. I keep calling and I'm on the phone for more than 10 minutes but they won't answer to try and get it fixed before they ship it. Annoying. Don't come here, they don't know what they're doing. read more
