I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred at 4843 Colleyville Blvd Ste 251, Colleyville of the UPS store on January 03, 2025. During my visit, My daughter & I encountered extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from the store manager/owner, which escalated into discriminatory remarks against me as a white individual. Specifically, the owner made comments that found offensive and inappropriate. Their demeanor and choice of behavior felt hostile and unwelcoming. As a paying customer, I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of their race, background, or any other characteristic. This experience not only left me deeply upset but also raised concerns about the level of service and inclusivity at this location. Had one of the worst customer service experiences to date at this store. I walked in to an empty store and the old, heavy set lady, with short dark brown hair stared me down while I walked to the counter. With no greeting or acknowledgment from her I placed my package at the counter and proceeded to tell her I had a QR code for the return and both items were in the box. She aggressively said "You don't need to tell me that." I was completely taken aback. All I said to her was both items are in the box out of respect and kindness. I said excuse me? Hoping I misunderstood. She doubled down and said "You don't need to tell me that, I just need the QR code". With no smile, nothing but a cold stare. Like how dare I have the audacity to speak to her. I don't understand why she berated me for speaking to her when I was just being nice. But the fact that they're also not fact checking what people are returning is another red flag. Terrible customer service and a shady business model. This was hands down one of the STRANGEST interactions I've ever had. Her coworker who overheard the interaction apologized on her behalf and stated that she's probably having a bad day. Fatima, the manager of this location, is a true gem! She greets you with her warm smile as soon as you enter this store! I may feel stressed with my packages but she immediately relieves my stress as she calmly aids me in completing my business with her. It is easy to see how she has attained her position. In fact I feel her customers can learn from her and how she exemplifies true customer service. This is a great UPS store location. I cannot comment on the price or service for shipping packages - I only use this store as a drop off location for my Amazon returns. As a frequent Amazon shopper, I am here often returning items with packageless drop off. Regardless of the day of the week or time of day, this location offers quick, friendly service. They usually have two employees manning the front, and both are very aware of customers in the line. If they are helping someone at the front with a longer transaction, they are able to facilitate an Amazon drop off while they wait for the front customer to look something up, fill something out, or pay for the transaction. This ability to multitask makes the line move much faster and makes the Amazon drop off process fast and smooth. Not every UPS store is run that way - props to the Colleyville/Glade location! read more

The owner/manager is extremely professional and kind. I witnessed an incredibly rude customer berate her this morning. The customer was careless and did not mind to her children who were touching everything. So when her child destroyed a large envelope, the customer was appropriately charged for the envelope. This is not the first time I come to this UPS Store as the service is quick, efficient, and I am always treated with respect. I intend to continue to use this UPS store as my primary locale for my shipping needs. read more

I used to have okay experience with the customer service in this store. Lately, it has not been good at all. On two separate occasions, I had issues with my Amazon returns. They scan them but Amazon never gave me a refund until I had to go thru their customer service. So I want you to be aware that the receipt they gave you can not be tracked according to the employee that works there and if you have an issue you need to take it with Amazon. Just to note, I have never had this issue with any other The UPS Stores or Kohl's or Whole Foods. The clerk Fatima is not friendly at all and can use customer service training. My latest return on April 13th was never refunded which most of you know that as soon it gets scanned, you pretty much receive an acknowledgment from Amazon and in most cases refund. I have called this store on April 15th to confirm that my return was shipped and was told by the clerk (young lady) that they had issues and it will be shipped next day. Still nothing. Called back the next day and a very arrogant guy told me that I need to deal with Amazon and completely ignored that the young lady the day before told me completely different story. Today is April 25th and still no resolution and I am out of $200 so far. Will never come back to this store for sure. read more

I took a package to this location Saturday morning to be shipped to PA. I was told it would arrive on Tuesday and it would cost $58.90. I was told it would go thru USPS. I asked what the markup was and was told about $3.50. I asked if there were any other dates and prices. I was told if I wanted to ship it next week it would be cheaper. I didn't think this was right so I took my package to USPS. My charge was $12.60 and it will arrive on Monday. So beware....the holidays are coming up and you will get ripped off. I use UPS for Amazon returns at least once a week and have used at least four other locations for these returns. This location decided that I needed to be charged to tape up my three boxes. I have brought back numerous untaped boxes to these other four locations and have never been charged. I will never return to this location. read more

I went here to try and drop off a package to be sent and I forgot to add a piece of tape to the top of the box. The man asked if I needed him to tape it up or if I was going to do it on my own. I mentioned that I had completely forgot and he said that he would have to charge me to put a piece of tape on. This is the thing that makes me so frustrated at the lack of service people provide! He mentioned it was a franchise and to me that's even more of a reason to provide better service. I will not be going back to this UPS store ever again. I have three children and was able to stop by on the day they were at school and to park and come out with my box in hand is unacceptable! Horrible and rude service! read more

I ship items weekly for work. I have been to several UPS stores throughout the Houston and Dallas metros. My visit to this store occurred during one of my Dallas business trips. This UPS store has been the best one I've visited thus far. Upon entering I noticed that it was very clean and even had a nice cinnamon smell to it. Everything was well organized and labeled properly. The service rep was very helpful, efficient, and courteous. I wish this was my neighborhood UPS store. read more

I dropped off a package to be sent overnight. I asked the clerk if UPS had already been by the store, and they said no. The Clerk said that the package would go out that day. 2 days later I'm calling to find out where the package is. The UPS tracking says "We've left the package in our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay." And, now, the UPS tracking has ANOTHER entry of "We've left the package in our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay. / Delivery will be rescheduled." So, an IMPORTANT package that we PAID to be delivered OVERNIGHT is now on day # 3 of NOT BEING DELIVERED. The store told me to call the UPS hub, which I did. When I asked the main UPS hub what I needed to do in the future to make sure my package gets delivered on time, they told me to NEVER DROP OFF A UPS PACKAGE AT A UPS STORE!!! They said that I should drop it off at a UPS Customer Service Center instead of a UPS store. What's the point of having UPS stores if you shouldn't drop off packages to be delivered??? Day 3 and still no package delivered. read more

I have used several UPS stores in the past to ship, this one so happened to be closer to me and when I tried to insure, they told me the only way to fully insure was to have them pack it, so because of the value of the item, I of course complied. The final cost was over $200 for an item that was 3' long, 8" wide and 6" tall and weighed 35lbs. I knew it would be pricier to ship as I have sent many like this in the recent past. When I went to UPS directly and they calcualted the shipping after the fact they told me the cost of shipping and insurance was $78, so this UPS pocketed $122 to pack it plus packing material and it was the only way to fully insure. These stores are not UPS, they are independently owned and according to the UPS clerk, they absolutely screwed me over on their price. He advised me to stay away from them in future. For comparison I went back and looked at my records and found that with another UPS store I shipped an item that was much larger and much heavier that was fully insured up to $3000, less than a year earlier and it cost me $75, the fault is mine for not being more mindful but time was of the essence and even with the cheapest rate fully insured for a $1700 item the cost was much higher than my previous experience. Needless to say they will never get my business again, be leery and mindful and if you can get better shipping quotes. read more
