I've been to this UPS store many times the past few years. Their staffs are usually nice and polite. But today, a middle aged lady helped me out with my Amazon returns. I was given a return code and asked to bring my item to be returned to the UPS store directly. I packed my item back into the box thinking they can always toss it if they did not want it. As in the return code stated, I don't need to pack the item, I just need to bring it to the store with the code. In my past experience, if the item is unpacked during the return, UPS store staffs would put the item in a plastic bag labelled with the return code. That middle aged lady scanned my code and complained saying my box was too big. She asked if the item is big, and if she can open the box. I told her, yes she can do whatever she needs to. This "whatever" word just made her snap. She basically wanted me to talk to Amazon and ask them to send me a return label instead of a code. But from my understanding, UPS store people usually scan the code and print the label. I said I was doing what I was told, showing her the email and the instructions as well. She can toss the box and just take the items out if she needs to. But she wouldn't listen to me and continued pointing fingers at me saying I had an attitude problem. All I wanted was just simply return the item hassle free. How the process works between UPS and Amazon I have no clue. I was just instructed to do what I had to do. Being a customer of Amazon and UPS for over 10 years now I had never encountered such problem before. UPS had always been easy and fast with the way they process Amazon returns and this is truly the first time I've encountered this issue. I felt that that lady doesn't know what she should do, and her other staff was too nervous to speak up (probably because she's the manager or the boss there). She offered to ask her staff how to get this handled (which I happily agreed), but she just basically snapped and continued pointing fingers at me for saying the word "whatever" and causing an attitude? My point was, she can do whatever she needs to do to handle this situation as I only know so little about how the system works. And if that is an attitude problem then I'm sure she can snap on many customers who have no clue. After she kept on yelling and pointing fingers at me, I decided to take the rest of my business elsewhere. I called Amazon and asked why I've encountered such trouble and they said they have never heard of anything regarding boxes are being too big and UPS not accepting returns due to such reasons. Amazon said the UPS store lady was just trying to give me a hard time, which is understandable with the holidays being so close by and the staffs must be busy and stressed out. That I totally understand but I don't feel right being yelled at. I went to another UPS store (#7233) and those two young ladies helped me with my return within 15 seconds. I asked them regarding the situation I've encountered in this UPS store (#5465), and they said it's true my box was too big to fit into the bigger box that they had, but it only takes 3 seconds to change the label. This shows that not only this middle aged lady was trying to give me a hard time, but she doesn't know how to handle such situation with an open mind. Just because she is stressed out she thinks she can lash out on her customers who are just trying to be reasonable. Her pointing fingers at her customers was also unacceptable. While I was trying to show that I do appreciate her trying to figure this out for me, all I got was a lecture as if she was my mom. But luckily, I am not her daughter and she needs to rethink her position in this store, her attitude towards customers, and maybe get educated in how to handle matters with Amazon. read more

Today 6/10 at 1230 hours, I went to this UPS to get a Priority Mail For my Passport Renewal. I WAS FOOLED!!! the Asian guy typed me up in their system and asked me to pay 21.78 I asked what time is the pick up . He said tomorrow at 10: questioned him And said Why you didn't tell me that before I paid. He said if you want to mail, you can bring the envelope to Post Office in Norco. I said after I paid you tell me that. I paid the $21.78 and was not refunded the money and I did not mail any item through them. Then he went to another employee who acted to protect him. Small business in Eastvale, I try to support and this is what I got. I ended up going to Post Office in Norco and I was told Priority mail charge is $7.95 only . REFUSED TO HELP ELDERLY CUSTOMER This location is absolutely horrible customer service wise. My elderly father was instructed per the UPS website to bring his package that he needs to return to the nearest UPS location. He was returning a very large and heavy item that was about 80 pounds. He visibly struggled to get the package to and inside the store, so much so that a stranger that was also headed to the store had to help him. The employees saw him struggling and did and said nothing. My father then requested a cart to get the item inside the door, and the employees denied him the quote stating that only employees could use it. Once again did not offer any type of help. The kind customer that decided to help my father once again helped him with the package and put it on the counter to be weighed. Once it was weighed the employees informed my father that it was too heavy and they could not send or ship it. My father, again visibly struggling, then removed the package from the counter and attempted to get it back out the door. The employees still did nothing and offered no help. The kind customer that had helped him previously instructed my father to wait for his transaction to be over so he could help him. The interaction with the employees and rude. I was not greeted nor asked how I can be helped today , instead the Employee was on the phone discussing her lunch plans and said to me let me see your label, as soon as I showed it she said if it's over 70 pounds we won't take it . I said Okay let me bring it in for you to check . Once I brought it in she carelessly placed it on her small desk scale and said see it's 76 pounds I won't take it. I let her know the box says printed on it that it's 70.5 lbs. she said it doesn't matter her scale reads 76 . This employee, Rachel, was incredibly rude and aggressive , completely gave the impression that either she hates her job or life and either is not any fault of the customer . They lost a letter that I sent and didn't care, then when I brought in a package that was ALREADY IN A BOX they told me it would get crushed if I didn't buy another box to put around the current box which would of course cost more. I have used this location many times over the years I have always felt the service was satisfactory with the personnel basically helpful and appreciative of the business. Today 11/13/22 was another story. I was dropping off a US post office prepaid Stitch Fix package not only was I not acknowledged even when I said hello I was leave it on counter and the cost to drop it was $1.00 shocking. Fortunately I have been using the new location in Norco recently so I will make this location my personal favorite. I hope the ownership takes notice as UPS stores are not something I see as a business that can survive with terrible arrogant service. read more

USPS Store #5465 staff Jessica FORGOT to place postage. 04/07/17 (THUR) Resolution attempt made at UPS Store #5465 per staff Byron: per Byron Resent the mail as is except w/ this time w/ stamp (my stamp I paid for previously on 3/23. I was quoted on a phone call by a staff they found a paid stamp that was left lingering around making them wonder who's it is). 04/14/17 (FRI) Certified Mail RETURNED AGAIN to doorstep by postman. Postman could not give a straight answer to why it has been returned AGAIN. 04/17/17 (MON) PAID DMV Reg at Corona Office w/ late fees incurred. Went to UPS Store #5465 after. Spoke w/ manager DEEISY. Been told they will be able to refund the fees paid to UPS Store for their service, but not for DMV late fees per management/policy. 04/18/17 (TUE) Returned to UPS Store #5465 for an unrelated purpose, and inquired w/ manage DEEISY if owners were contacted. She stated she did, and offered then and there to contact owner Rob Wang. We spoke, and I explained to him the circumstance and request of two things: the refund and the fees incurred. He explained that he is able to give me a refund, but is UNABLE to give me the monies for the DMV fees deferring this instance to 'circumstantial events'. He defined this as events that is out of his/staff's control. He mentioned too that if he allows for what I am asking, it will open the door for other customers to make a similar case. Despite clearly pointing out the root cause of the blunder, Mr. Wang did not understand that it is within his scope of liability. SUMMARY: Mr. Wang may have been referring to a common phrase used in delivery services (UPS, FEDEX, USPS): 'unforeseen event'. These circumstance are unexpected events that cause an interruption in a process/action; in this case delivery delays/errors. Accidents involving the delivery vehicle or a postmaster having a heart attack may be under this umbrella. The misinterpretation of liability of services is the divergence of our understandings. Apart on our stances and away from proper resolution, the conversation ended w/ our promise to reach out to UPS Corporate and the BBB. 1) I understand that the crux of debacle originated NOT enroute to the destination, but WITHIN the PREMISES of Mr. Wang's business. 2) It was HIS staff who did not fulfill an EXPECTED process that has been initiated when I PAID for the service OFFERED by the business. Is it not as simple as recognizing that I was NOT RENDERED the service for which I paid, and that liability DOES fall on the lap of the business? The natural expectation post payment IS for my service to be rendered; which is to CORRECTLY prepare my package for delivery. Because this did not happen, not only was I not properly served by UPS Store #5465, the staff's negligence of NOT PLACING A STAMP on my mail, and the unwillingness of owner Robert Wang to do the right thing, is costing me the most valuable currency whom no one is able to replace; MY TIME. read more

This UPS will lose your items. The clerks are very disrespectful and will only greet their own kind. 1). I observed as a Caucasian that they deliberately greet us, but not African Americans. 2). I've also noticed on many occasions when more African Americans or Latinos are in the line they will take their time. When we step into the shop they become more proactive. If I could give zero stars, I would. (Yes, you already know how this is going to go.) I went into the shop in order to buy stamps for my wedding invitations. The transaction with the UPS store worker, Karina, was immediately unreassuring. I told her to weigh the sample invite, and asked her: "How much does it cost to send this?" She said, "Two stamps." Uncomfortable, I clarified again: Me: "How much is the exact postage to send this?" Karina: "2 Forever stamps." Me: "So how many do I need for 140 of these invites?" [She then proceeded to hand me the calculator.] Frustrated, I ask my husband to come inside and clarify. ... And Karina did the same exact thing (including handing him the calculator. She reiterated a second time in front of my husband that we needed 2 forever stamps. We went to the postal service to verify, and it turns out we overpaid by $50. We returned back to the store today and explained this whole situation to the more experienced associate (Well, not really. See below.) HEADS UP: THEY DONT OFFER REFUNDS ON ANY POSTAGE. Another heads up: YOU OVERPAY FOR STAMPS HERE. They make a profit off of it. LESSON #1: DO NOT BUY STAMPS HERE. USPS and even COSTCO are better! Tatiana (Supposedly, the more experienced one) and Karina were there. We explained the whole situation. I don't want to bore you with the details, but ultimately, going there again made us more confident in NOT returning. Husband: "We wanted to know exact postage. And you told us two forever stamps." Tatiana: "Yes, it takes two forever stamps." Husband: "No, it's only 70 cents. Two stamps would be 98 cents. We only need one forever stamp." Tatiana: *rolling her eyes* "You can't mail half of a stamp." Me and Husband: .... [Thinking: Are you kidding me??????] Me: Let me talk to whoever is in charge. (see below) BOTTOM LINE: They sold us more stamps (more unnecessary $ to spend on our part) than we wanted. Also, they did not disclose neither on their receipt or verbally that stamps are non-refundable. LESSON #2: WHEN ATTEMPTING TO RESOLVE MATTERS, DO NOT speak to any of the workers there. Go above them and speak to the manager: Daisy. Daisy contacted us and apologized up and down, and we told her ... That despite her apologies... something needs to be done about this. We understand we cannot get a refund for all the stamps we bought, but something, anything... Store credit, for example, would suffice. She then proceeded to tell us the owner is out of the country and won't be back until two weeks from now. Daisy being the one in charge of this whole business.. The second person in command.. Was not able to resolve this for us. She had to defer us to the owner. This pretty much goes to show her incompetence in managing appropriately in the owner's absence. ULTIMATE LESSON 3: DO NOT EVER COME BACK HERE FOR POSTAL NEEDS. THEY KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Stay tuned for my updated review come two weeks from now. read more

Ok i understand the frustration with UPS, I let the last screw up pass but today was the line I cross to never use this company again. Let's talk fraud- employee puts a ps3 in a box for me and uses peanuts then tells me if I would like insurance. I said sure. I get a call from the same employee approximately 1 hour later telling me that they over charged me and if I wanted "more bubble tape" on my stuff. I respectfully declined and asked for the money they overcharged me instead. Upon arrival back to this place, the manager tells me they should bubble wrap it more and they wanted me to place the ps3 in a different bigger box since the other employee failed to put it in the correct box. I said the box size was fine when she put it inside. Then they threw the grenade at me, "sorry sir, if we use the orginal box we mistakenly put your device in, the insurance won't cover you if it is damaged or missing". To compensate for thier mistake they to charge me extra for the correct box and add bubble tape to prevent me from getting the money they overcharged me. This company is unacceptable. I am so done with UPS and thier shenanigans. Owner and employees there are friendly but completely incompetent. Star clear and use USPS if you want something done right and CHEAPER. read more

I went in here recently to purchase stamps, only to find out they charge upwards of .65 per stamp instead of the normal rate. They made no mention of this to me prior to my purchase, and if I hadn't been paying attention I would not have caught the upcharge. This is something that they should mention upfront to customers, as it is not posted anywhere in the store. I'm curious as to how many people don't pay attention and wind up paying way more than what they should for the stamps. I agree with the other reviewers that speak to this place 'nickel and diming'. I visit this site from time to time to drop off Loan Packages that are prepaid. On, July 13 when I went to this location to drop off documents, the person there advised that I would have to pay for an envelope for a prepaid ground label. I dropped these same packages before and never had to pay for an envelope in the past and this is not required of other UPS locations. I called the office to speak to a Manager or Store Owner and no one would be available until tomorrow. I believe the current store clerks do not know how to provide information out to Customer. I am seeking the headquarter office on UPS to let them know this store is charging Customer for envelopes on prepaid labels. read more

This UPS store is located in the large Albertson's plaza with plenty of parking. This is a busy plaza - you have to be careful driving around, because the lanes are quite congested. However, once you are in this UPS store, it is sufficiently staffed so the lines move pretty quickly. Nonetheless, this store is very busy especially on the weekends. The service is excellent as you are always greeted with a smile and given a receipt for your Amazon box returns. read more
