I had a box at this location for two years with no issues. I closed the box just before the holidays and of course several people said they sent mail to my box address by mistake. When I inquired about my mail they said they had a box with all the mail for December that had not been returned. Only one out of 4 cards I was expecting was in the box. They told me no one had rented my old box yet and the person who sent the other 3 cards has not received them back. So where is my mail? The one card I did get was just a christmas card but the others had gift cards in them and were presents for my kids. I can't believe they don't know what happened to them? Walked in today and the lady behind the counter was super rude. First she had a bunch of stuff on the counter and told me to move my boxes cause it was on her stuff. Mind you there was no other space on the counter which is meant for customers to place the things on which they wish to buy or ship. Then I asked her to buy tape to tape up my box. She in a very rude tone told me next time tape up your boxes. I told her I'm OK with paying for tape and never expected it for free to which she didn't even respond. This store is a joke. I brought in a small package with the shipping label already printed and the clown wanted to charge me $2 to use their tape or I could buy a whole roll. I'm sorry but this place rips you off. My sister took her daughter's passport photos here and they charged $29.95!!!!!! I had mine done in May and paid $14.95 at the same location. They are just making up their own prices. We called the UPS store on Fallon and they said they charge $11.95 for passport photos for children!! Service here has always been ultimate! I've been to other locations closer to home, but I prefer going here during my lunch break or right after work. Been coming back here for the past 6 years - whenever I need to have my Traffic School Test Completion Notarized, Zappos returns, and making hordes of copies. On my recent visit, Sunil personally assisted me - from dividing my print job between two of his copiers, to cutting my copies into halves himself...it wasn't A-class service because he was "sucking up" to me - Sunil genuinely wanted to help me to the best of his capabilities; not simply to leave me with a good impression but to ensure I actually walked out with a great experience. With these kinds of businesses, they always find a way to charge an insane amount of money for the most mundane services - the kind that you would never think to charge a friend, like lending them your computer to download a file from your email that you need to print. Most businesses like this would charge you for the computer time, but not this place. What's more, is they actually have the rules/parameters in place to charge you for these services, but this location doesn't make business decisions strictly on "rules", they rule with heart and common-sense - which is the reason they have Outstanding Customer Service, and why I'm giving them the full 5-stars. Honestly, I have to say that over the past 6 years, it really seems like the Customer Service gets better every time. Plus, they just hired this new girl, Tara, who's pretty darned cute. I've been to the ups store so many times, and every time I've gone there the service has been outstanding. Most especially given by Jose galvan. I like to go in on days that he works because it is very easy to hold a conversation with him. Not to mention, he is very talented when he works by himself. Wish I had read Patrick and Catherine's reviews before stepping into this store. The same clerk treated me the same way. An inconvenience to her day and shady weights of my 4 large envelopes. I was not impressed when I needed something notarized and she wanted me to do her photocopying for her. I was fine with paying a little extra for my postage but I knew something was fishy when she was charging me $10 and $8 for my international envelopes with both envelopes on the scale together. I then asked her to put the postage on and date stamp them in my presense. When she actually put the post on the envelopes cost was actually $3.75 and $3.40 for international envelopes. The rest was their "Surcharges". Angry I ended up taking my mail to the US Post because she would not date stamp them as I asked. When I went to US Post sure enough she had double charged for weights and I had been ripped off. The post should have only been $1.80 and $1.65. I WILL NOT RETURN!!! read more

I really want to like this store because its location is most convenient for me. I've gone in several times and have never had a good experience: 1) Print Services: They advertise that they offer print services, but they barely know how to use their black and white printer on premise. Once, I emailed a document to them to print out (as advertised on the website) and they couldn't find it, even though I re-sent it several times while in the store. Also, if you want color prints, they have to outsource it. ??!!!!! You're better off going to FedEx/Kinkos. 2) Their customer service is terrible. Workers are rude and don't seem to want to be there. 3) They are cheap. I needed UPS Poly Mailers to ship some items, and they refused to give them to me (even though UPS offers shipping supplies for free). They told me I had to pay for the Poly Mailers, and that they were over $2 each. I had 4 packages to send out. I chose not to give them my business and ship my packages elsewhere using the FREE UPS shipping supplies. I would rather drive further out of my way to patronize a different UPS establishment, that's how bad this store is. read more

I came here to get some mail weighed and metered and realized that I needed my passport photos updated, a service which the UPS Store provides. The employee was really nice & helpful. The photos were done in about 2 minutes and off in the mail they went. They also provide PO Boxes, copy machines, faxing, packaging, shipping, you name it, they do it when it comes to sending stuff. read more

I took some passport photos here a couple weeks ago and turns out they were too dark to use (Post Office informed me during my application process). With the hit or miss reviews on Yelp, I thought I'd for sure have a tough time getting a refund. To my surprise, they refunded me my money and were very courteous in doing so. They will charge you for anything they can. I wanted to do a simple amazing return of a fairly inexpensive product and they wanted to charge me $17 to ship it ups w/a tracking number. I said never mind, ill just keep it so they tried to negotiate with me for $12 with a tracking number and then $10 with a tracking number. Why were you trying to charge me $17 in the first place? Then I tried to send it regular mail so she wanted to charge me $3 and changed it to $7! I have had this experience with them in the past but didn't think anything of it because the price compared to the cost of what I was shipping was inexpensive. I'VE HAD IT WITH THIS STORE. It was convenient because of the location relative to my home but that convenience has now taken a back seat. I'd rather wait in line at the Post Office, yes, the Post Office, than visit this store ever again. The young woman "working" was apparently on break but there was no other employee. She said her break was almost over and then she would help me. This is after I visited the store two days earlier to ship the same package only to witness the same young woman having an argument with a customer over a postal box. I have gotten pretty good service at this UPS Store, but today was a bit different. I needed to get a document notarized and then have this document shipped as well. First, they had put in the wrong zip code into their system (my document would've gone to Oakland instead of its correct destination of Redwood City). The people are very nice here, but when you're on a tight schedule (lunch break), I needed things to go a bit faster. They finally got all of my information correct and my document notarized, but it took far too long. read more
