I've used this UPS Store many times to return my Amazon/UPS packages, and it has been a good experience overall. Sometimes I've walked in with a TON of packages, but have had no issues whatsoever. This location can get a touch crowded sometimes, but nothing too bad. Parking is convenient in front, or in the back lot as well. Customer service has been fine as well. I haven't used the other services they offer, so I can't comment on those. read more

Walking into this UPS store feels like stepping into a boxing match -- so enter at your own risk. I have frequented this UPS Glendale location for years because it's close to my vicinity but the loyalty does not pay off. I was there yesterday afternoon (12/3/24) around 5:45 pm to get my packages scanned in time for the last UPS pick up. I was there to drop off several labeled packages and waited patiently until no one was in line to have my packages scanned so I didn't make any customer in line wait -- even stacking them nicely to the far left where they would be out of the way and easy to scan. After doing all that, the girl at the counter (who by the way is also a notary there) told me that she could not scan my packages, that the scanner was "broken" and to just take photos of my drop off. I replied that others are dropping off their packages and getting scanned with receipts -- That I should get the same service as others whether I bring in 1 box vs several -- explaining that my packages are time sensitive,valuable and while I don't need a receipt, I would like to have them scanned. I know UPS policy and the employees here just have a terrible customer service attitude. It's as though they don't want to be bothered to work or be inconvenienced -- and they demand customers adapt to "their policy" of poor service and unacceptable behavior which is not reflective of UPS. They act as though they are doing the customer a favor to render any service. No one is managing these hostile employees and they feel very comfortable insulting and disrespecting customers in a very aggressive manner -- escalating hostility vs leading with kindness and service. The employee from yesterday afternoon actually had me "service her" by having me move all my packages (she can't lift even small lightweight boxes) to the opposite side of the counter as she finally begrudgingly scanned my boxes and told me that she didn't care if I reported the incident. Obviously she doesn't and the experience left me so hurt and disturbed that I will be writing to UPS headquarters directly because this is abusive. I just can't believe ownership of this UPS Glendale store doesn't address this serious problem. The negative complaints are obvious and consistent through the reviews but nothing is done to solve the problem. You don't even get a smile at the counter or a nice greeting. I have witnessed so many customers patiently wait in line only to get treated poorly and nothing changes. It's like Mean Girls Gone Wild! Then there is the guy with the pony tail who periodically works there and argues with every customer who requests a receipt. There are a couple of very nice employees that I try to catch when I frequent the store. However, if these few select employees are not working on a given day, you get these mean employees like yesterday's evil twins that tag team as the worst of the worst -- they are very confrontational, argumentative and just rude, lazy and mean. They feel empowered by and take pride in insulting customers. How many complaints will it take to make changes that reflect a good customer experience? I wonder if my packages actually made it in the truck yesterday afternoon or if they were held back due to the lack of care of these negligent employees. This is just unacceptable. Management should step in and review the tapes to actually get a sense of what's taking place daily -- and make an effort to implement a positive company culture that reflects professionalism, kindness, respect and good service. It appears to be too much to ask for when it comes the way this store operates. read more

This UPS store lost a hand beaded item and I believe one of the employees stole it. It was a beaded hat band, backed on leather and my father received the hat but the hatband was missing. The package was not tampered with which means someone had to have swiped the hatband before it was packed. read more

I started the process of claiming the insurance I had put on my monitor and Maggie was my rep handling the situation. She fought TOOTH AND NAIL for me when the suits at UPS tried to make it difficult to claim my insurance and she made sure I got paid in full. She's a gem, the MVP, and a total class act with all my worried phone calls and emails asking for updates. Pure professionalism. read more

Just wanted to say this was the best UPS store experience ever. I needed to send my 87 year-old daddy using a walker down to drop off a small, light package because I was unable to get the time off work to go myself. I called Justin who answered the phone and told him my daddy would be coming in a walker with wheels on it and asked if he could help him print the label so we could mail our package on time. It was a return from eBay and there was a deadline on it so we were concerned. Justin went above and beyond and practically met my father at the door and helped him print the label and fix it to the box. We only paid about $1.75 and the package is going to be mailed out ASAP. I called Justin back a couple times to check on my father and also to thank him for his incredible service. My dad was so tired and I felt so guilty sending him, but I had no one else nearby at this time to help, Justin made it all work out for us. i'm going to buy my daddy dinner to say thanks for his trip up the street to the store for us. If you're going to go to any UPS store in Glendale, I recommend this one. It's across the street from Whole Foods, and afterwards you can breeze over there and pick up a nice meal, it's a great location, the parking is in the back, The staff is friendly and the line moves fairly quickly. I'm a boxholder at this location and the reason why I chose this location are for two reasons - customer service and convenience. I have two UPS stores that are closer to my house, but the service here is always super fast, friendly and professional. The only thing that slows them down is customers that don't know whether their return needs a box or not. If you rent a PO box, you can get 24 hour access and they notify you by email as soon as you get a package. I keep renewing my box here, since I'm 150% satisfied! read more

This is the WORST ups store ever!!! I was shocked at the attitude the worker gave me. I came in to drop off an amazon item for return and it was the first time I had done this. Ups was supposed to pick up the item from my house and i was home all day waiting for them to knock on my door. I never got a knock but i go outside and see three return labels on the floor when i only have one item to return, all with different codes. I was confused they didnt come to pick up the item but i took it to the store anyway to drop it off and i asked the lady if she'd happen to know which code it would be. She gave me so much attitude saying "you're supposed to know, i dont work for amazon how am i supposed to know" and i just told her that this is my first time doing this and i have three codes. Usually i take my returns to the amazon hub locker. So i said let me see if i can figure it out and I went to the amazon return page and saw that the item code matches one of the ups labels and i said "oh i figured it out, this is how you can tell by the amazon return code if anyone ever asks you again so you'll know." I said this to tell her so she can be helpful next time someone asks a question. She was so rude and said "i don't need to know i dont care i work for ups not amazon." She was so rude and unhelpful, and she didn't need to act like that. I understand she doesnt work for amazon but amazon returns are a part of ups and when people come in, it would be nice to be helpful!! read more

The manager (girl) should not have a job. I came here to drop my package off about 30 mins prior to closing. There was a man in front of me mailing something out, and it was taking some time. I was not bothered by waiting but I was bothered by the manager cussing and speaking nasty to the man because he was getting confused and taking time. She needs to learn customers service. My first and last time at this terrible store. I went in around 6 pm to ship a merchandise back to the sender. I had the return label and everything ready. I walked in and this tall guy with messy hair, which I think his name is Mason, offered help. I'm returning a coat that I ordered online so I didn't have a bag. I asked for one and he said it'll be about $3 something and I said that's fine. I gave him the label and paid for the bag and he hands me a receipt and says bye. I was kinda confused cause common sense tells me that I need to wait for him to put the coat in the bag and bag it and then I'll leave but apparently they have a different approach at this store. I kindly asked "aren't you putting this in the bag" and he rudely responds "I'll do it when you leave". I said "no, I'd rather wait and see you bag this item" and he turns around and I'm front of another customer he responds again "we do this all the time, if you don't trust us then wait". I am still trying to be nice and I replied "it's not a matter of trusting but I'd rather see it bagged before I leave". He goes, grabs a bag and put the coat in and closes it. I don't know what this guy was thinking but logic tells me that you should close the bag in front of the customer before the customer leaves. I understand that's your job and you do it every day but use some logic and respect the customer and listen to what they ask you rather than accusing them of some non sense such as not trusting you. read more

Wow, rudest UPS Store ever. UPS drivers coming in maskless even though we are on a state and city-wide mandate. No signage on door about masks except for distancing. Customers allowed to come in maskless and worst of all, the UPS pickup driver was maskless and said it was his choice not to wear one. Total breakdown in management. The only semi weird part of my experience is that the employee said he would tape my box up for me, but then he added it to the pile of untaped boxes behind him. I once had an assistant working for me who used to work at a UPS store (not this one) and he told me stories about what people sent that would make your hair stand on end! And more to the point how the employees "handled" these shipments. The UPS is one of those businesses that you don't think about until you really need them to get something to its destination quickly...as in overnight. Yes there is the USPS of course. But....when i really have to trust something not to get lost or to get to a destination quickly i choose the good ole UPS store on Glendale Ave across from Whole Foods. There is a large Fed-Ex store on Brand that offers more services but i have always been a UPS guy and a Fed-Ex one only in an emergency. The denizens that work here are, as a rule, polite and not too rude. They always seem to have enough people working so as to keep the line flowing. I was in here today and the "going out of the country" Christmas packages brigade was in force. So be aware. Also: they handle the returns to Amazon quickly and with care. You can also have the UPS print your emails, provide you with a p.o. box plus other services. If you need a UPS store, this unit is a good place to which to give your business. read more

Super-easy and fast. I had to return Amazon package. Usually I just keep my bad purchases, but this one really was their fault. Still, I was nervous about how horrible this returning business might be - even though I followed all the online packing instructions. The UPS clerk was helping the only other customer in the store with packaging. Other clerk was on bathroom break. (He came out a few minutes later; so that's how I know; I'm not psychic or anything.) Clerk #1 asked me if I was just dropping off package - and this is why I'm taking the time to write this - because he could have just let me stand there while he walked the other guy through all his packing and emotional problems. It took about 45 seconds for Clerk #1 to scan the package, ask me if I wanted a receipt, then hand me the receipt. Parking in back was free and easy, (just like the 1967 surfing documentary - look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about). Definitely would use this place again. read more

I don't know if the manager/owner of this store checks Yelp, but I was trying to find a place to give the proper accolades to the staff of this specific location. I dealt with Shayne at the register today, who, in the face of one of the most stressful situations I've seen in retail, towers of packages, and an endless line of people, remained professional, courteous, and collected. He was beyond awesome to have as my register person and didn't seem at all phased by the mounting dropoffs. The boxes were literally stacked to the ceiling, filling more than half the store. Shayne, and the rest of the crew were doing more than their best, and following the Covid guidelines as well. They all deserve the proper recognition, if not some sort of bonus compensation, especially in light of the pandemic. read more
