Isaac was the associate working behind the counter and even though he took a couple minutes to speak with someone on the phone he immediately thanked me for waiting while on the phone. I gave him my drop off package and he scanned it and even asked if I wanted a receipt. It's kind of sad when one feels joy over an associate just asking if you want a receipt, but after multiple bad experiences at nearby UPS places (cough cough Jeffrey rd in the same plaza as CVS and Ralph's) this store definitely brought my hopes back up about UPS customer service. I had without a doubt the worst customer service experience of my life at this store. The employee (tall younger guy with hat and round glasses) was extremely rude and condescending for absolutely no reason. He was annoyed by the fact that I had a lot of boxes to drop off - geez, sorry dude! He not only refused to help me but then lectured me the whole time about how I'm supposed to know my responsibilities as an Amazon seller (I was just helping someone out delivering the boxes...). He sighed loudly and slammed his little scanner on the counter repeatedly while "working" to make sure I heard his frustration. At one point he even asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm, "I suppose you want a receipt, too?" No one deserves to be treated with this kind of disrespect, especially a customer. Ive been here a few times to send things out and had an experience where they lost a few very expensive Amazon returns and were very insensitive denying all liability. Luckily Amazon processed a refund. Also apparently they charge $2 to print off a single sheet of paper. They charge exorbitant prices but don't have the customer service to back it up. I have a UPS box here that I plan on canceling due to a string of mishaps. Email notifications are random at best. Late last month I checked my box and it was empty aside from a renewal notice. I renewed and got charged a late fee. Prior to signing up I made sure to ask if I will also get email notifications when my renewal is near. I was told they send out emails for packages and renewal. This was not the case. During this time I was expecting a package but I didn't get a package slip in my box. I ask as was told nothing arrived for me. A few days later I checked and there was package slip dated prior to my last visit. I ask why the mishap and they told me emails are sent out and it must be in my spam. I emailed the owner requesting for the late fee refund ($10.00) since I wasn't informed and the last package was poorly handled on their end. I got a "deleted without reading" email receipt. Also, the employees here will make you wait on line even if you have outgoing prepaid packages and you don't need a receipt. They don't have a drop bin and they don't let you leave it on the counter. read more

I scheduled appoint for my notary today at this location and I went there on time and the person at the register told me that his stamp was broken and I asked for passport size photos as they have the services listed and the person today at the counter was not in a mood to work I guess he told me he cannot take the photo because of the light . Normally I'd be satisfied with this location. But they closed 10 mins earlier than they were suppose to for whatever reason. Yelp showed they closed at 6:30pm, and their voicemail said special hours closed at 6:30pm. Could this be lazy employees wanting to go home early?There were people waiting outside wondering why this store closed earlier than indicated. I'll just leave it at this rating till the owner can provide an explanation because this caused myself and the customers outside inconvenience. I usually use FedEx, but this place is right next to my office, so I gave them a try. The customer service was nice, but the results were lacking. This is no fault of the UPS Store employees. Gave them a ground shipment, checked the tracking # the next morning and saw that it hadn't moved. I called to ask why a box dropped off way before the cutoff time hadn't started to ship yet. I was told that UPS sorts the air shipments 1st, puts the ground aside and works on them the next day. Meaning my box will take 2 days to get to where I shipped it. It only takes FedEx ground 1 day to get there. Next time, I'll just have to ship a day earlier, or drive 2 miles to the other guys. read more

Stores like these make me genuinely happy. Everyone is so focused on getting big box retailers and restaurants everywhere and this niche shipping/mail box/notary type businesses aren't that glamorous. I am one of those people that ships stuff to my niece in India often. So it's either post office or UPS stores. I usually go to the one by moulton and el toro and this new place by Los Olivos is right next to my work and super close to get to. I needed to mail a claim to California treasury which needed to be notarized as well. I got all that done in one place for about $20 and the guy who runs the place is super friendly and knowledgeable and personable. He even said he usually offers to look up past shipments of someone need a new insurance and lost their recipes. That's service. I like this store already!! read more

Really hit or miss service at this location. One time a guy assisted me and was super nice and helpful - today a girl assisted me and offered to give me a shipping quote which I said great, then she proceeded to create and print the shipping label then said you owe this much. When I said I was expecting a quote (as she offered) she rolled her eyes and was very rude. I said ok thanks that seems high ($13) so I'll check out the USPS prices for comparison and she told me they can do it there and said the cost would be almost double ($20). I said okay I'll shop around, she threw another attitude, didn't give me back my original packing slip until I asked, didn't say anything (no ok thanks, or have a nice day, ect..) very rude, immature behavior and customer service. Not only that, I went to the USPS and the cost was LESS THAN HALF ($6) compared to what she quoted me from the UPS store. So not only was she completely wrong about the prices but very rude as well. read more

I recently had several packages inadvertently diverted to this store by UPS customer service. Let me just start off by saying that this store was absolutely fantastic with assisting me in obtaining my packages. Larry who works at the store along with other associates went over and beyond in assisting me in obtaining my packages. Larry and particular displayed excellent customer service and continuously communicated with me to offer solutions to ensure that I received my packages. Larry went over and beyond turn sure that my last package was delivered to me even after UPS failed to deliver the package to my home. I have nothing positive to say about UPS Corporate Customer service as a whole however this store was fantastic in cleaning up the mass that UPS Corporate Customer service left behind. This was absolutely the worst UPS visit I've ever had. I frequently go to UPS to drop off prepaid packages for my business and Brian was the rudest employee I've encountered. He decided to charge me $1 per package I dropped off. Keep in mind only 5 of them he had to use tape for. The others were already taped and he just needed to slap on the packing slip. His justification was that he spent 10 minutes of his time with me and provided me a "service". Unbelievable. I wouldn't have minded the charge, obviously it's a small charge, but he didn't tell me I would be charged until after all items were ready for shipment. I told Brian that in the future I'd like a heads up before a charge and he said that he'd like a forewarning of all the boxes I had because he spent a lot of time with me. A whopping ten minutes for an employee at this store is too long to spend with a customer. He then proceeded to say that he should be charging me more for his time and services but he's giving me a fair deal. Absolutely horrible customer service mixed with a piss poor attitude. Guess my business is only good if the employee spends 60 seconds or less with a customer ‍ read more
