Dropped a package off on the 21st at 2629 Foothill Blvd UPS Store. Got back a receipt with no tracking number. I made several calls to track my package later in the week. I was informed my tracking number that I recieved from them today, (7 days later) was invalid. I called back this location where I dropped off my item, now 7 days later they tell me they never sent out my item, because they never added a tracking number when I dropped off the item 7 days earlier. I should have looked at the receipt more carefully upon intially leaving the store a week ago. I won't be using this location anymore due to incompetent workers that are unsure/inexperienced/making mistakes at working at a UPS store. read more

Avoid this Store at all cost if you want to seamless process to your shipping and pick up needs everything is very complicated when it comes to the individuals that work here. I live right near by and have been going here a few times a month for years. Yes much of the time for amazon returns but sometimes for other things. Always fast, courteous, and friendly service. As friendly as you can expect when workers are inundated with amazon returns. Knock on wood haven't had a single lost package / mishap. read more

Terrible experience at this La Crescenta location on Thursday April 25th 2019 at 9:20 am. Problem was with the tall white bearded man with the glasses. I provided my Amazon return package on the counter to have it scanned in and be provided with a receipt. Vey very standard procedure that I've done a hundred times in the last decade The package was put on the scale, but before it was scanned, and upon asking for a receipt, beard guy told me "you don't need one, it's Amazon". He did so "dismissively", as if to say 'duh, you don't need one'. I politely told him that I know it's Amazon (there was no need for him to tell me that the item I purchased and was now returning was from Amazon, after all I bought it) , and for a second time, I asked him for a receipt, this time a bit more forcefully. Beard guy misunderstood my forceful but polite persistence in requesting a receipt for a second time, for an "attitude". He told me, and I quote "what's with the attitude"? I was then pissed off. A guy I don't need or want to interact with more than is necessary, is refusing to give me a receipt which is standard operating procedure, and telling me it's Amazon, and then telling me I have an attitude problem. I don't need this shit when i return a package. Just scan it, give me my fan receipt, and let me be on my way I informed him that since her refuses to give me a receipt, I will be filing a complaint, which this review is part of. I also plan to send an email about this situation to the UPS Store district manager I grabbed my unscanned package and as I was exiting, beard guy continued to berate me on the way out by saying "I just want to know the reason for the attitude". I ignored him and proceeded out the door I have never been treated this way at this store (or at any other package place) , and I've been returning Amazon packages here for a decade. And given the proximity of this store to other UPS stores, such as the one in La Canada, I have no need to come back, ever. I promptly took my package to the La Canada location. Upon entering, I was greeted by a nice hello from the Hispanic American guy with glasses and a beard And get this: the NUMBER ONE THING the new beard guy asked me before I said anything was "do you want a receipt"? I thanked him and said yes, got my receipt, and walked out a happy customer. Easy transaction, with no unnecessary words, no berating, no accusation of attitude From now on until bad beard guy gets another job (disgruntled UPS store workers like him don't usually last more than a year at their job), the La Canada location is my go to store. But if I find out the franchise is owned by the same owner, I will opt to take my Amazon packaged to a location elsewhere, so they don't get the credit for the shipment Let ups store owner and manager be on notice, people don't put up with crap, and they have many choices of where to take their packages, even if they're just returns read more

Been here several times and I have never had an issue. Usually in and out within a couple minutes. Sometimes you will run into a long line which may take a while but as long as your label is printed onto the package you can just drop off and go. I haven't had an issue with any employee they have all been helpful. read more

The store has systemic problems. The staff is incompetent to say the least. The line is out the door is huge while the 2 employees are in the back room for too long doing God knows what. Andrew is the funniest, coolest, and most charismatic employee I've ever met. He's a complete sweetheart and the realest dude I've ever met at the La Crescenta location. He keep it hip and is down for shipping packages. He even let me inspect his beard. He and Diana are a powerteam and they bang out packages like they're sardines. CROOKS!!! Can't trust these people with your packages. They printed a label for a $6,000 package and it never left the store and they can not find it. No scans out of the store. Must have been stolen by an employee. Went through insurance with UPS. They paid out the store and the store won't pay us. This is un real. This UPS store is well organized and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about shipping stuff. Since the remodel of the front area, the customer line is more organized. Have never had a problem shipping an item even during Xmas season! Parking lot in front gets very crowded with the Citibank, Starbucks, and Pizza joint close by. The guy with the beard NEVER wears a mask and I have noticed the other employees don't either. In addition, non mask wearing beard guy, complains the entire time about how much he hates Amazon and curses while doing it. I got to this store at 10am on Sunday and he was in the store while a long line formed outside. He did not open the doors until 10:10am and when he did, he did not hold the door for the first person there. Please avoid this location. Walked in and it was EMPTY except for packages everywhere with a tall, younger gentleman looking stressed trying to scan everything. I asked for assistance on box sizes and he was trying to help but I was directed to the girl with pink hair at the register. I'm asking her for help and I swear she was HIGH on something. She just stared at me blank when I asked for assistance until I just said I'm going to another location. I know Pasadena is far but the Fair Oaks location is awesome. It has been a week and my packages were never picked up and never shipped. They won't answer the phone. Worst service ever. $120 down the drain. read more

This place is weird, The employees need better training, it doesn't seem like all of them are on the same page at all. Sometimes I go to return purchases online and a really nice lady is the employee, she has great customer service and asks me if I want a receipt. Then sometimes I go and its some other employee, he was rude and when I asked for a receipt he goes "oh we don't do that anymore"....when any other time that I go the employees are happy to give me a receipt! So which one is it? Do you give receipts or not? Can I get a straight answer? They need to be on the same page, it's super annoying and weird. I was totally taken by surprised that this UPS store charged me 2.17 to print a shipping label. Their excuse was a service fee for them them open an email and press print. If you must go here to ship something go to Office Depot down the street to print your label for a couple of coins because paying someone to press 2 - 3 buttons and get a couple of steps in is insane! read more

I had some time-sensitive medical documents to email to a doctor internationally. I stopped by my local UPS store to see if they could scan them in color and email them to me. The saleswoman was pretty busy, multitasking and hedging off some impatient customers who had lined up behind me. Unfortunately she was unable to scan the documents in color but I really appreciated the length she went to fulfill my request which would've only cost a few cents. UPS admits responsibility for their mistake that led to delivery delay but refuses to give me back my refund, citing "because it was an international shipment that there is no GRS for the package". It has not offered anything to placate this client who has taken pains presenting supporting documents to back up claim, within 2 months' worth of communication. How's that for customer service from a company that prides itself to be Newsweek's 2019 pick for America's Best Customer Service for Shipping & Delivery Service!!! I needed some paper work notarized and ink finger printing for a new job. Chuck was super helpful!. He even did an extra sheet of finger prints for me without charge, just in case. I usually don't write reviews but feel the need to educate people who may use this store. This UPS store charges a very high surcharge for USPS postage to make UPS prices look better. The La Canada UPS store does not do this practice, has better hours, and, frankly, has better customer service as well. read more

I love UPS more compared to all other delivery company, their delivery employees are amazing and supper nice... but I cannot say the same about this store. Employees are rude with terrible attitude instead of explaining the situation on how and why they can't help with nice voice and attitude, the employee helped me had the WORST attitude towards me. I was not understanding the situation (possibly because she was not explaining it clearly or I just don't work for UPS so I don't understand the way the system works) but instead of being patient and stating it in different ways... the employee who helped me was just constantly blaming me for not doing the process right and I still have to do more and she cannot help me. If you work in a customer facing work space... you need patience and understanding to help the person in front of you and not roll your eyes and be RUDE and not blame the customers and just explain the situation so one could understand. read more

I am particularly keen on writing this review because I have been a longtime customer and was perturbed to see the recent negative comments. My husband and I went after 6pm today to get 3 sets of signatures notarized and the document overnighted to Alabama. Alex was meticulous in going through what was a 17-page legal document, making sure we didn't miss anything. He was also very swift in processing the notarization and the mailing, giving us all the possible rates and double-checking to make sure the address auto-correction was not his error. The UPS delivery person waited patiently for Alex and the other salesperson to finish with customers, but they both managed to take care of multiple customers and him very efficiently and in good humor. The customers all seemed pleased. We certainly were. read more
