Corporate UPS stated they don't show a claim ever made by the franchise owner. He stopped taking my calls and purportedly blocked my number. I am now out $500--I can't get a refund without the original money order, and the cost of the overnight. When he failed to send the letter, I was forced to wire the same amount. read more

Our local UPS store is wonderful!! It's family owned and everyone has been genuinely helpful, professional and courteous. My husband has been using their mail box for about 4 years now. We've used multiple service from amazon returns, regular mail, packages being sent and received, to the above and beyond service of sending our kid's birth certificate via mail to Spain while we were on vacation. Azam stayed in touch and kept us aware of the custom's delays regarding the mail since it was highly sensitive to get it on time- and we did! Also, I love their post cards and magnets! Do not have any UPS Packages sent to this retailer as an UPS pick-up location. Even though online retailer or UPS provider may offer it as a "pick up location" this retailer will not accept your package and instead REJECT it with no notice. I had a package sent here and Azam "rejected" my packages at delivery. He only accepts customers that have mailboxes in his facility. read more

Useless. After attempting to generate two pickups through UPS via phone call, being charged for said pickup and then having two representatives provide misinformation, Adam from this store decides to call me. Though Amazon provided a tracking number, somehow UPS does not have the original number or label and made one attempt to pick up my packages and promised a second but never returned. Adam calls to determine if he can sort out an additional pickup. Apparently, he can't print a label associated with the new tracking number Amazon provided. The manager was extremely disrespectful. I have been in there before and he has been arguing and shouting with customers. I had let this pass as there are no other UPS stores around close to me. And I really don't like having to post this bad review but the way I was treated today was outlandish. He was aggravated that I had not read amazons instructions that the package needed to be boxed. He stated he didn't understand why people did not get this and that it was simple to understand. I told him it was not and he started to argue with me that is was and he didn't understand why myself or others did not get this. He also stated he did not need my business. Awful non existent customer service. Called today for a simple question. Guy picks up immediately says hold please without giving any opportunity to talk, sets the phone for so you can hear him proceed to rummage through things on the counter and help physical customers, then after waiting 5min for him to return to call he I hear him get close to phone, pick it up and hang up. I would give this company less than one star if I could. The owner was rude and condescending toward me when I asked about returning some Amazon packages via UPS. I already had the shipping labels printed. He got angry with me and said that it's not his job to stick the labels on. I tried to defuse the situation. I made it clear that I understood and then I just didn't know his process. Of course I had no problem putting the labels on myself. He proceeded to try to teach me in a very condescending manner. I don't know what his problem is. I've witnessed it before but thought that might have been a customer's fault. I realize now that I was wrong. Do NOT use this store! The Manager Azam takes no responsibility at all and actually hung up on me when I was speaking and trying to ask him who was working on the day my husband shipped a Christmas package 12/8 for 2 day delivery to MD. The one and only scan on the package was at this location!! He refused to answer, got very weird about how they don't have any children working there and everbody is over 18?! (I believe my wording had been my husband said a "young man" had taken the package to ship from him). Azam was rude, disrepectful and told me to file a claim with UPS customer service and it must have been the driver that did it, they do it all the time and he can't help me. We have used UPS for many, many years without incident but then again we haven't used THIS location. He had the audacity to say he was more upset than I was over my missing package. I told him, that is highly unlikely given the way he was acting and that this is a personalized Christmas gift we got for my mother in law in Las Vegas. Now it's 3 days before Christmas and the pkg. we shipped from his location to be delivered is MIA, the only scan is IN at that location!! BEWARE! read more

I literally had a small brace to return to Amazon, my return code ready to scan & id be in and out of there in a few seconds but there was a line literally out the door with every single person holding multiple large boxes. I went to the front of the line and asked the employee, the only employee working, if I had to stand in line or if he could just scan my code and I didn't need a receipt, he said to ask the people in the line when I turned around to ask everyone in the line, everyone was rude and said that they had returns too. No one in that line had just a small return they had multiple boxes that would take time. I would've been in and out of there by the time I finished my sentence but I guess good Samaritans are a thing of the past. I'm going out of my way to only go to the UPS store off Lakeview Canyon in Westlake Village. I urge you to do the same thing. They always have multiple employees working there and they are so helpful and friendly! read more

I should've checked the reviews before walking in this store. The rudest man was at the counter. I presume it was Azim the owner. I had an item that i was directed to return via UPS. Company didn't provide box and this man was soooo rude. Pardon me for assuming a UPS shipment center could BOX UP my item to prepare for shipping. I needed to print a label and he directed me to print it myself using their computer. He kept saying that the company should've provided me a box. So I said ok. I will request a special box and come back. Then he said ok you can just pay me for the label. He had never stated there was a price to print the label as I would've printed it at home. He screamed at me telling me that the computer time costs money. As I stood there compleyely bewildered he grabbed the already printed label from my hands and RIPPED IT UP. I've never dealt with someone so blatantly cheap and rude in my life. This is the only UPS store in my city but i will gladly drive to Thousand Oaks so I never have to step foot in this store again. read more

Have been a customer of this store from the days when Ken owned the business. Subsequently he sold the business to Nayla & her husband who too were a pleasure to do business with. Calling them to check our mailbox never seemed to be a problem. Gas prices being what they are necessitate these calls so that if the box is empty.....there's no need to waste gas. Fast forward to Nayla selling the business to the new owners was a mistake of epic proportion!!! They're a bunch of amateurs who haven't got a clue as to how to run a business. They hire this kid Elliott who is about as rude as could be. Who's been known to leave me hanging on the phone and/or hang up without providing a response. Having had enough of this insolent behavior I thought I'd made some headway by calling UPS HEADQUARTERS!!! What a joke!!! Their response?? Every franchise owner is entitled to run their business as they see fit!!! They (the store) claim to be too busy to check my mailbox but inevitably when I do go in...the store is empty and/or they're sitting in the back doing zip!! Fast forward to a week ago when I came in to pay our bill....the owner, standing there...says "what do you want"....???? What country does he think he's in??? With checkbook in hand, I gave him exactly 6 mos payment while we decide our next move!!! This same clown thought he was going to charge me $60.00 to check my mailbox as a security fee, saying corporate UPS forced him to do it!!! UPS corporate told me it IS NOT corporate policy. So these guys lie to your face as well as making things up to suit their whim. If it weren't for the fact that this address was used for business since the mid 90s....I can assure you we'd have left that very day!!! Hands down the worst customer service. We've been in twice in person, both times it was if we, the customer, were inconveniencing the two young men behind the counter...for doing their job! I most recently had an issue with an Amazon return (worth over $200) so I called to inquire and the young man who answered the phone was not helpful at all. He kept saying, "yea, sorry, I don't know what to tell you. Just wait longer." I was provided a receipt and tracking number from their store 3 days ago and when tracking my packages still do not show they're in transit. He basically told me there's nothing he can do and I need to take it up with UPS and I could not file a claim through their UPS Store. It seemed he was doing everything in his power to not help me. I will be reaching out to Amazon customer service as well as UPS directly regarding the store. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location unless you like a hassle. read more

I find it interesting that there are complaints about this store from people who don't realize what a UPS store is. A UPS store is a franchise from UPS corporate and operates like any other mailbox store that you see. It is an independently run business with a tie to UPS. Like any other "Mailbox" store it is NOT a place where you can have your packages and/or mail delivered unless you are a customer. It serves as a convenience for its customers and as a result, like any other mailbox store, some transactions cost more. For example, using the US Mail costs more than if you go to the Post Office. What you get for your money is convenience. As for this particular store, I have been a customer for over 10 years and dealt with three owners. I have found all of them to be friendly and helpful. The current owner is especially nice. He is always ready to help and to go the extra mile. read more

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called to have a package I had ordered for my wedding redirected to another location for pickup. Azam Hadi answered the call and told me to call the customer service number. He kept interrupting me when I tried to explain my situation. I had already called the customer service number and they told me that because he was the shipper, only he could redirect the package to another location for pickup. He refused to help. Instead he went on and on about the fact that I was wrong, he wasn't going to help, and that I needed to work it out with customer service. His tone was harsh and argumentative. I hung up in utter frustration. He then called me back, told me I was rude and hung up on me. When I tried to call back, he hung up. I tried again and he picked up the phone but put the receiver down and refused to answer. Customer service is at an all time low at this location !!!! read more

Nicest and fastest notary ever! Great guys in there. But do not be fooled by YELP with the location, they are located in the Stage Coach shopping center behind In N Out on Newbury Rd. So DO NOT use the directions on Yelp which will take you to a location on Strauss Drive just put the address into Google Maps on your phone, or head to the UPS store behind In N Out! read more

He went on to further insult and berate me to the point where I was shaking at the counter , borderline anxiety attack. On the surface, this UPS may look like every other franchise, but the impeccable customer service makes it feel like a neighborhood family-run business. The impeccable service is efficient, courteous, and friendly. In fact, friendly doesn't even begin to describe it. I first came here to get some documents notarized and I left with ultimate customer satisfaction. I tremendously enjoyed chatting with Abdullah, who was thorough and helpful, fulfilling his duties as notary public with utmost integrity. Before this store changed hands from Nayla and her husband, the service was delivered with a smile, now, there is no service and the owner is as rude as possible. Today I went in to get a document notarized. He came out of the back office, and was gruff, and disgruntled that I had bothered him. Then he started to fill in the blanks on the form, and decided he wouldn't use it, and got out another form to fill out. I told him I needed the original form filled out, and he argued with me and said if he couldn't fit my entire name in a small space, the document would be illegal. He was sooooo nasty. When I told him he had lost a customer, he said sarcastically that he thought he would live without the $10 it cost him. I told him it cost him a lot more than the notary fee. He said he didn't care. I would say overall, he didn't care much about customer service at all. So....tell everyone you know. Avoid this UPS store, unless you absolutely have no choice. Let the buyer beware. read more

How can a corporation so big doesn't scan return labels, print them and send with package. Kohl's does it. They wanted me to pay $2 to use the computer, put my personal email and then charge to print it. Amazon needs to rethink business with UPS. Very inconvenient for their customers. read more

wow, I went to ship a box about 37 x 10 x 8 inches long and weighing about 6 lbs. the guy quoted me ups ground at roughly 56 dollars. Seemed real high to me so when he printed the machine both the dimensions and weight were inflated! He said corporate made him add an inch to each dimension and round up the weight. I sure don't believe that. Cant imagine a corporation sending you off with a printed receipt with the wrong dimensions and weight. Don't go here. I left and went to the post office in newbury park where it went for $22.83 with signature, insurance, and tracking. I also went to ups website, entered in all the dimensions and features, and got a ups price of roughly $41.00. I don't get it. Not sure what their deal is but I'm never going back. read more

Very Unprofessional and unfriendly. I tried to ship something through them and it was returned to my house because the owner did not put enough postage and told me it would "be fine". I never write reviews but I felt like I had to let people know about the the horrible new owners of this UPS store. The owner is VERY unfriendly, unprofessional, condescending and seems like he has never worked a day at a shipping store with very limited knowledge in the business.
