Needed to send a fax and this place was right around the corner from where sis and I were shopping for furniture. I walked in, no one was at the counter however I didn't wait long for a gentleman to come out from the back. He dryly greeted me and gave me a coversheet to send my fax off with. I prepared my fax material while he went back to the back and asked that I holler when I was ready. I hollered, he came out, sent the fax off, collected the $1 for faxing and then wished me a good day. While the service was uneven, I appreciated that he said I could attach what I was faxing to the coversheet to save some money. In a pinch and in the area I'll return PS- BEWARE, this is in the same center as Trader Joes who apparently caters to people who can't drive in a parking lot correctly. You've been warned! read more

Arrived at 2:57pm on a Sunday, scheduled close time for Sunday is posted as 3pm. I had a small box to ship and was told they couldn't help me because they had already closed their drawer. I understand that I got there just before they closed, but I got there BEFORE they closed. Absolutely horrible customer service. read more

I usually go to the UPS in Livermore. We were going to Dublin to satisfy a Chipotle craving and this UPS was on the way. It's located in the god forsaken parking lot of Trader Joes, but surprisingly parking was a breeze! The guy working was friendly and talkative. He and my husband bonded over some nerd stuff since we were shipping a Surface. They packed that puppy up and shipped if off. No complaints. read more

We have been customers here for about 5 years and there have been a couple owner changes, but I have to say the current ones are the BEST! The customer service is great, they are really friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. I am pregnant so when there is a huge package or several packages they will always help me with the boxes to the car. I love these guys!! They are always helpful. Always courteous. They remember me by name (wow!). Any time I need something, they go above and beyond. There was even a beautiful Christmas present in my box this year which meant a lot to me that they recognized and appreciated their long time customers. He even helps me carry heavy packages to my car. I don't work nearby. I don't live nearby. I specifically keep this UPS store box because they're so good to me here. Not impressed by the customer service here and the supplies are expensive. Mark is not very friendly with the customers. Bad experience #1 - Brought a package in that was pretty much ready to be shipped - it had a prepaid label and all - the only thing missing was that the top of the box was not sealed. He literally almost turned me away and would not accept the package because he did not want to use one strip of his store packing tape. I was told he would make an exception this one time, but in the future he could not help me out. Really?! Seems a little ridiculous. Bad experience #2 - Brought a package in to ship UPS Ground to Tennessee. The total came to over $30. I was shocked at how pricey it was, so I asked for a breakdown of the expenses. The shipping itself was only $18 and the remainder was fees for the box, packing peanuts, and "service". I told Mark that $30 was way more than I was willing to pay and would just purchase the box and peanuts at this time. He acted put out and after I paid he came around the corner and handed me the box and peanuts then turned away. I happened to be with my 2 yr old daughter, and since no one else was in the store, it would have been very nice of him to help me walk the items to my car or even say "thank you". I will not be going back to this location ever again. read more

Baktash is unprofessional. He was rude , and very hateful. Upon walking in he is disrespectful, Especially to people of color, even though he is a person of color. I wrote a review before regarding Abdul, he has allways been very helpful and very kind. I live on Pimlico Dr for over 14yrs and Abdul was very helpful through out those years."Thank you Abdul" But Baktash is extremely rude. When I need service and I see that Baktash is working , I just turn around and wait for Abdul. Baktash is a person of color who is extremely hateful to other person's of color. I've been coming here for the past 3 years for our small business and I have to say that I have no complaints whatsoever. Mark and his assistant (not sure of the name) are always extremely helpful and very personable. All of the services that I've used are reasonably priced, particularly faxing which is the cheapest I've found anywhere. They even print door hangers, which I wasn't aware of, and Mark offered a reasonable price to have those done. When I run out of the ones I have currently from a different company, I will be sure to take him up on the offer. Keep up the great work! read more

Had a simply horrible experience with this store. The manager graciously agreed to hold my package while I was out of town. Instead, when I went to pick it up as arranged, they had returned it. The woman took my number to have the manager call me. When I had not received a call in two days, I went back and was informed that the manager had sold the business! The new manager refused to help in any way. He was rude, condescending and dismissive. I will never use UPS again. read more

Superior service. I wish I caught the woman's name. She is the epitome of customer service. I arrived on thurs, jan 8 at 8:27am. Sign says they open at 8:30 so I waited a few minutes in my car. A couple minutes later I saw lights were turned on. I entered with an Amazon return. I didn't know how to do this, so I handed the lady my bubble envelope, the gift to return, and the UPS return papers I printed out from Amazon. She took the envelope, told me which form to place inside, sealed it for me, printed me a receipt with tracking and said she would take care of the rest. I was in and out in a matter of two minutes. Again, I commend this woman for her excellent help and making it easy for the customer. read more

I wish I did not even have to select a star. REALLY BAD service today! A woman with curly blond hair with no name tag was beyond rude. I was in shock.. Even before I left the store I knew I was getting on yelp!!! I was the only one in the store and she seemed like I was interrupting her.. The other thing was that this store charges $2 for tape! Really?? I will be going on UPS website to mention this to them. I can't imagine they spend that much on tape to have to charge customers for it. The $2 is not going to dent my wallet but the customer service piece of it is my issue. Also I had a small package that did not weigh much and they wanted $26 to send it out! Really?? This store used to have a dreadful customer service attitude. I say used to because there has been a management / ownership change and it really showed the other day when I went in to have an item packed and shipped. The new staff was attentive and courteous and answered all my questions about my shipping options. This particular UPS store is not the closest to my home, but I always like to go to this particular one for my mailing/copying needs. Staff is always very friendly. I like to point out in particular that a staff named "Mani" was especially good. I went there a few weeks back for a large copying/mailing job. The business was a little quiet then. Mani and I started to chat casually as I continued my big mailer job. Then, seeing the big pile of work in front of me, and that there were no other customers in the store, Mani walked over, and actually started helping me. Boy, two pairs of hands definitely worked better than one! She continued this for a while, walked away to help other customers when they came in, and only to came back again to help me after they have left. This continued until my job was done!!! I went to the UPS store to return a package to amazon. I had one return label that could be scanned but one that needed to be printed. I am 63 years old and sometimes technically challenged. Baktash was so helpful. He did not get flustered with me and continued to assist me in printing my label. Then 2 more people came in and he was helping me and also helping them, great multitasking! When I checked my mail this afternoon, my tot discovered a package on our door step thinking he received another present from a family member only the package belonged to our previous owners. I wish whoever lived here before us took responsibility and made sure that he/she updated their address when they moved. I am the most honest person in life and it's hard to find people like me out there in this time and age, but some of us who are very honest does indeed exist. I'm more comfortable in person to person approach versus having to get on the phone and having to deal with rude customer service in general so my only option to get the package returned was 1) Drive up to San Ramon to drop off at their UPS facility OR 2) Drive up to the nearest UPS store here in Pleasanton and hand them the package to be returned to its sender listed as San Fernando, which I'm assuming that is down in Southern Cal. I could have gone to the UPS store here on Hopyard, but reading the 1 review that had a negative review about the dog food bag donation summed it up for me versus the UPS store on 4000 Pimillco Drive had 2 positive reviews so I decided to go there. I didn't catch the guys name, but once he saw the package I was holding, he mentioned, "That's a prepaid package." And then, he looked at me asking, "Are you rejecting this package?" I looked at him and said, "Actually, .. the package was delivered to my place, but the package is suppose to go to the previous owners." The guy understood and said, "Thanks for returning the package to us and we will return the package." That's all I wanted to do. My husband had a similar situation recently where the UPS driver in Sunnyvale (our old place) accidentally delivered a package to our old place. The problem was that the actual Company had our current address, but the shipping facility didn't quite update on their end so that was the reason to why our package delivered to our old address versus to our new and current address. Whoever moved in right after us wasn't as honest as I was, which I was in no surprise and whoever it was - accepted my husband's package with NO questions or problem. I was actually furious!! My husband told me that he called the Company to let them know that whoever accepted his package through UPS shipping wasn't him and the acceptance was basically Fraudulent so the Company got in touch with the UPS facility in Sunnyvale to have the driver return to our previous address to confiscate our package. I really hope the UPS driver gave the previous owners a good lecture about accepting packages that doesn't belong to them and what they did was in fact illegal. And, if the previous owners didn't know what it was then - ask questions by going onto UPS.com to find a local number. Don't just accept a package that isn't yours to keep. I also had a similar situation with the Pleasanton UPS driver towards end of last summer where the driver delivered a Amazon package to my place, but the last 2 digits wasn't quite right. Turns out, this particular package belonged to one of my neighbor 3-4 houses down so I walked over to return the package to the rightful owner. The mother was sincerely happy and thankful. I would hate to loose a package especially through mail or through UPS or FedEx so hopefully whoever reads this will understand that doing the right thing will get you good karma at the very end. read more

I had to drop off a "pre-paid E-bay return" package this morning and was floored by how rude and curt the person at the counter was. There was no one else in the store when I walked in, but instead of a greeting, I got "Put it there on the scale!). I asked for a label holder and got "Just leave the label on the box". He never stopped doing whatever he had been involved with when I walked in. He simple turned sideways from whatever it was, scanned my label, handed me a receipt, and said "You're all done" and continued with whatever he was doing. No "Thank you" or "Have a nice day" or any such nicety. Will not be returning to this UPS Store again. Rudest person I have encountered in quite some time. read more

Having frequented this place twice in one week and shipping a shitload of stuff, I must say, this UPS franchisee serves up some pretty awesome service. The staff is very pleasant and greets you right when you walk in. The guy, Mark Kim, whom I suspect is the owner or manager, is very efficient and detail oriented with getting your packages into their system and labeled. I did notice the first time that the employee forgot to enter the apt # of my To destination. So, do double check your labels, esp if it includes apt #. read more

Mark is very attentive and patient and I had a HUGE laundry list of stuff I wanted to mail - regular USPS, priority USPS, and UPS ground. He also sealed up my boxes and printed the mailing labels out for me. Totally helpful and convenient. WAY better than driving the extra 15 minutes to the post office. :) read more

Alex jumped in and assisted/directed the printing and collation process for me while I stapled and organized the packets. No extra charge. He saved me a lot of time and was a huge help. I have had a "house account" at this UPS Store for the past 2 years. A house account allows me to register with a credit card on file so I am billed monthly for my shipping expenses. This is perfect for small business owners. I gave this store 5 stars only because giving 6 stars is not an option. The personal service provided by Mark and his staff is excellent! I regularly send packages overseas and completing the required paperwork is simple with their assistance. Shipping packages is only part of the services they provide. By having a postal box here, I now have secure delivery of my Internet purchases. Someone is always there to sign for packages and hold them for me until I get off work. I also appreciate the email notices they send me when I receive a package. read more

Visited them last month. It seems there is a new owner. Got couple of Notaries done and had a conversation with him. I was told that Notary is always present 58 hours they open the store. Got parking as well in front of the store. He mentioned that there are 9 parking spots in front, but in past people used to park all day. Now he makes sure that people park while doing business at UPS Store. This really means you can find parking there anytime. read more

Thank you so very much to the young man that works in this UPS store for going above and beyond the call of duty to help with all aspects of my big and heavy shipment. He helped me carry this 40lb box from my car to the counter, package it better at no cost and assist with finding the most economical and secure way to ship it. I observed this gentlemen interacting with the other customers in his store and was truly impressed with how kindly he was treating everyone with the most respect to all of us and our time. He was very kind to everyone keeping all of us attended to in the most efficient manner and making sure none of us had to wait for each other - while one was filling up paperwork the other was paying and the third one was given choices of the shipping options and packaging.
