First of all, I ship quite often and use this particular store because of it's location but no longer. The young people who work there are about as unfriendly as you could be without being rude. Never a smile or a welcome and they seem put out to answer a question. Second, I mistakenly took my daughter's computer charger and needed to get it to her ASAP. I guess UPS's world stops on the weekend. It was a Saturday morning and I wanted to send it next day dely. I paid 27.00 to go to Phx. And the soonest delivery using NEXT DAY DELY was Wednesday!! I would have been better off using the post office, which I will next time. And it was obvious the clerk couldn't have cared less. They need to hire more personable and friendly people. I have lived in Prescott for over thirty years, have frequented this location often. Always treated well, respectfully. Lately a young lady by the name of Jazmyne has helped me. She is at all times friendly, efficient, polite and extremely helpful. While waiting in line I have never witnessed her being any other way with customers. I've used this location before and haven't had any issue until today. I brought an Amazon return to them and didn't tape up the box. I've returned Amazon products before to other locations and never had any issues. The clerk they have working here told me, "I'll tape it up this time, but next time you need to do it!" I even asked her if she wanted me to buy a roll of tape and tape it up for her, since it seems to be so much trouble for here to do it. I'll use the UPS store in Chino Valley from here on. I know it's tough to find employees now, but if she worked for me, she'd be gone in a heartbeat with that attitude. (And yes, I do work in customer service) read more

I'm new in town and I went in to return something via my business's Corporate Retail Solutions program. I even had the directions on what was needed. They told me they "don't do that and to go to PV." I went there today to get a box or even a big envelope. I waited in line for 15 minutes when someone finally helped me I told them what I needed. The guy with long dark hair tossed me the sleeves of what they had and said look on this and let us know what you want. I had already told him what I needed. After trying to figure out the graphic on the paper I just said I'll go to Walmart and find something there and go to post office. He was incredibly rude non professional and inconsiderate. For the most part every UPS store I go to does good job whoever this one does great. What makes me say that is that the agents here are good at thinking on their feet, making smart calls, and multitasking. For example sometimes you go to a store and even though the person is before you what they are doing is taking a long time and the clerk won't help the next person who may just need to drop something off. At this location they can take her the person that's in front of them however they know when to take care the next few people so that they're not waiting pointlessly. I particularly see Caitlin doing this the most. I love how she works there as if it was her own business. People like her make this particular store the one I go to! read more

The staff at this store is so rude. They act like you're bothering them by coming in and barely acknowledge your presence when they see you. They never seem busy when I walk in, yet they have such awful attitudes. If you don't like your job, then find another one. read more

Kudos to the driver who just picked up my package. When I opened the door for him my 11 month old puppy ran (flew) out the door. The driver stayed and helped us round him up. These guys are great! I've been a customer for years. The staff makes you feel like family. Good job Greg, Cassidy and Jeanne, and others too! If you are tired of standing in lines at the post office or driving across town to your PO box, you might want to try the UPS Store for your shipping and mailing needs. They have rental mail boxes similar to the post office too. You will pay more, but for some, the convenience is worth it. Plus, they become your shipping drop point if you don't want things shipped to your place in the boondocks or sticksville. This works great if you are not home much to take delivery on all that ebay stuff you keep buying to put in your next yard sale :) read more

Terrible service!!!! The young blonde round girl at the front desk said they don't ship packages! I'm like are you serious!!! She was very rude and didn't want to do her job. Just a little update. They actually attempted to charge my friend ANOTHER $114 about a week ago. I made haste to the bank and changed my card number before they tried to back charge me AGAIN. If they had gotten that payment too, it would have cost me a grand total of $283 to ship a package that they over valued at $350 and was actually worth about $100! Anyone who gives these people a good rating must be made of pure gold to afford them. Apparently, they don't mind spending 80% of the cost of the item to ship it! read more

Went in to get a notary. The gal does not know what she is doing. She refused to sign the document and refused to understand her job as a notary. She doesn't get to critique the document. All she needs to do is ascertain I am the person signing the document, check my I.D and put her stamp on it. I don't know who the owners are of this store, but they never seem to be around. Instead all I have seen is 3 young gals running the place. This particular gal lacked professionalism and it is clear she struggles with her duties of working at a UPS store. Always a long wait for service here and the counter help is never friendly. My worst experience was being charged an extra $5 to get a signature on a package I sent to my sister who lives in a rural area. The UPS delivery man dropped the package on her porch and did not get the signature. When I notified the clerk at this store she said they were not getting signatures due to Covid. I asked for a refund of the $5 and she rudely refused to make it right. I asked her why she charged the $5 if they weren't getting signatures. She couldn't answer that! I'll go the extra distance to the Gurley store to avoid this aggravation in the future. read more

I went in at the last minute due to my work schedule. There was only about 2 minutes if that left before 6:30 which is closing time. As I entered through the door I was greeted by a very nice person who turns out to be Valerie I believe was her name. She was very accommodating . She saw that I was somewhat anxious due to the fact that it was at closing and instead of telling me that the store was closed she told me just to calm down and not to worry. She said she would process my overnight package even though it put her over the 6:30 closing time. She was very helpful very pleasant and did not make me feel like I was taking up her time. This was my first visit to that UPS Store and I will return there in the future when needed. I came into this location to ship a package. The girl Aleena was incredibly rude. She didn't give me any options, and clearly didn't care about her job. She didn't even give me the correct change back, it was $10 short, thankfully I caught it. As I left I heard her mumble under her breath an insult about my weight. I have never honestly written a bad review, because it's just not right, but I think that this is something that needs to be brought into some light. I talked to young lady on the phone when I was asking about my UPS package. She proceeded to tell me it that she could not look up my UPS code. I asked her nicely to hand the phone to a coworker who could do that for her. She said no, and was very rude about it. I have never ever talk to someone like this. And no offense to the UPS Store. But you guys need to evaluate your workers and their attitudes. Because I don't appreciate being talked to like that. All I did here was drop off a package with a prepaid label. Came here 24Oct at 9:50am. The young gentleman that was working the counter was very polite and efficient. I didn't catch his name though. I was a little hesitant on coming here from the reviews, but it's the closest one to my job site so I decided why not. Terrible. I purchase a small box for $4.50 and then place my prepaid USPS label in it and she refuses to take the package for the Post Office without me donating a dollar. I know it's just a buck but come on!! The manager was extremely rude as well when I asked about it. (She might need a man in her life) just saying. Anyway I will not be going back here. Stay away from this place. They overcharged me for packing an item and when it was received by the buyer, It was broken and packed like a infant did it.
