I went in to drop off some packages towards closing. The Store was empty. There was only one employee there and she didn't want to help me. She was quite rude. I think she said her name was Emily or Britney. Blonish hair and on the heavier side. I went to the self help kiosk and another costumer walked in after me. She went to help him quickly. He didn't even need her help. My back was turned and she skipped me. I told her this. I was at the self help kiosk because she wouldn't help me. I had many packages that needed to be scanned in. I calmly let her know about her behavior. First she said she was the manager then she went into how I am banned from the store and how her manager agrees. How she will call the cops on me if I ever stepped in the store again. How her family member works at the Police station and that she would "love for me to talk to him". So now I am being threatened by her. Is this the kind of costumer service Scott's Valley UPS store is providing their costumers. She was unprofessional, rude and discriminated against me. She threatened to call the cops on me. For what? I was calmly checking in my packages with my back to her the whole time. If anything I was being treated with aggressive racist discrimination. I needed to send a box to Mexico via UPS. It's a long complicated process and Eric was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. Be cautious using this UPS location! I delivered a package there to be returned to Amazon for credit , but they set my package to the side after processing the transaction. Concerned, I asked them how I could be sure that my package made it to the mail Or didn't get lost. They rudely informed me that I have the receipt and that was all I needed. I took them at their word. Here we are almost two months later and I have not received any credit for the return. As I look into it further and call the location to inquire , I find that my package was never even shipped, just like I feared. Not only were they extremely rude About the fact that I was inquiring, But they went the extra mile to give me the wrong phone number for Amazon That led me to one of the employees Anti-American Phone recordings, Which leads me to believe that my package didn't make it into the mail because of the President Trump pin that I had on my jacket when I went into that location. read more

Service made me not come here again. This was my go to for years and this last representative wasn't willing to help myself or the customer before me. When the gentleman before me asked for what he can ship the representative just said that's is something I don't know you can either come back later or next week. He asked if there was someone there that can help, without even asking his fellow colleagues for help, there were 2 others, he said no here is a card. Then it was my turn. I'm shipping a phone back to apple. He states first what do you need, not in anyway welcoming, I state what I need then he says.... uhhhh do you want me to do that... at first I'm confused, I don't work here so in my head that's an obvious, I start to say yes and show him an email to show him that all it should be done is looking up the ID tracker and shipping. He states that they don't do that and if they do I would also have to come back to the store later in the day or next week. So I ask for a manager or someone higher than him and he literally looks like he doesn't care and states he will be here later or next week. My only thing that I am saddened is, why don't you have a manager there, to assist their I assume new employees. I asked if there was other ups stores where I could maybe get assistance since I waited 10 min already for help. He then says do you know where Safeway is with a condescending voice, that is when I had to leave. read more

I received excellent customer service and could not have been happier with the way I was treated and the care they took to mail a laptop out. Stoner 18 year old took 30 minutes to find our packages. After "searching" a couple of times in the same spot, the guy told my wife to come back later. Then the assistant manager came over and helped the stoner find the packages. How is this guy still working here? TO TOP IT OFF, THEY CHARGED MY WIFE FOR PICKUP. As locals, the UPS store is our "go-to" place for anything related to shipping or Amazon returns. Incredibly helpful and professional, their customer service is exemplary every time I go in. Today we needed to use their notary service and Linzy was amazing!! So knowledgable on all the laws surrounding having a document notarized. The process was completely painless and the price was so reasonable. Did I mention this service is available 7 days a week! Also, you can make an appt. online which is easy peasy. Linzy also saved me a trip and a huge line at our local post office by mailing the paperwork directly from the store. This place is the worst! I tried returning a rented text book the other day, and only needed a UPS Pak to put it in, which they told me they didn't have. Huh? I said I didn't believe them, and the guy at the end of the counter tells me, "We don't give things away for free. The paks behind you are $1." Umm....UPS supplies are free, which I reminded him, but apparently, this place needs to make its buck any way it can, and he just said, "Do you have a UPS account number?" I'm like, this is a prepaid shipment; the shipper has an account number. THEY have an account number, so they have free supplies. Would they give me one? Nope. He just repeated in an irritated tone that there were paks for sale right behind me, like this entire situation was my fault for being a dumb cheap ass. I just shook my head and said I'll take it to the drop box. Unbelievable. This store is not affiliated with UPS, so they can do and charge anything they want. UPS supplies are FREE, but not here. And notaries? Banks will do them for free. Some advise? Go to a UPS dropbox or call UPS and set up a pick-up account at your office--shipping will cost you tons less, and notaries? Most banks will do them for free, so save your $15 per signature and walk over to Wells Fargo or Bank of America. No, you do not need to have an account at the bank for their notary services. read more

Kevin is awesome and the perfect example of customer service. I've been trying to resolve an Amazon return for several days. I made the return and inadvertently lost the tracking number. My first attempt to retrieve the number from the store left me totally dissatisfied as I was lectured on "the importance of keeping the tracking number" from an employee who clearly did not want to help. I called the store this afternoon and asked to speak with Kevin as he has clearly gotten good reviews in the past for his customer service. He was the right guy! He took the problem from start to finish without any snarky comments or lectures. He was polite, efficient, diplomatic and knew how to retrieve the information. These guys are super courteous and helpful. My husband and I are cranky boomers--ok, we're not quite that old, but we are pretty tough to impress, and we have both come home talking about what pleasant experiences we've had at this store. If you ever need a reminder of how awesome this store is, try going to the competitor in Santa Cruz (that will rename nameless), where the clerk actually sighed when I told him I needed to ship a package. I find myself regrettably offering a poor review. Tried to send a high value item requiring insurance today through the UPS store. Repeatedly, the workers discussed across the store, out loud and in front of multiple customers the value of the small box in my hand. The amount was a very high amount and I was extremely uncomfortable with them sharing this information with the entire store full of customers. Furthermore, I was then handed their work phone to have to discuss it with the owner. This action then compromised my safety further by having to use their dirty communal telephone. I then realized I was signing docs with a dirty communal pen as well. Covid...? Lessons here folks. How about a "little" more privacy and less sharing out loud. Don't compromise our safety by cramping people in the store and not cleaning store items. Train your staff. Step up and show some additional professionalism. At very least, review your Covid policies and stop risking our lives. read more
