Every other UPS in the area is extremely helpful and kind and provides great customer service. The staff members at this store are always helpful and accommodating. Today, I returned an Amazon item and it took less than 2 minutes. (I had my QR code ready.) I've used this store to return Spectrum, Comcast and DirectTV hardware...no issues ever. Several years ago, I returned a heavy Christmas tree, and they helped me get it out of my SUV and fixed the packaging. Truly a service-oriented business. read more

I really like coming to this UPS store. There's plenty of parking, is never crowded, and both ladies are nice and courteous. One of them is the Notary Public and she is very pleasant to deal with. They try really hard to service customers as fast as they can, but of course, there are always some people who are rushing (maybe they should plan a little better on their end so they don't have to rush others for their lack of planning). read more

What a scam. Amazon tells you to go there with no label.... this store tells you that you must purchase one of their boxes when it's not needed as per their relationship with amazon. I have done this method of returning at several other UPS stores no problem. This store scammers. Best part of my experience, they told me too bad and call amazon. So I did. They (amazon online chat) asks for a call back number. My cell didn't have reception so I had amazon call the store number as I was standing there. Not one person in the store by the way, Woman came out of the back and said this phone is for business use only!!! On hold for their corporate office. Shame on you. Called this morning to make sure they ship cable boxes back to att. Lady was very sweet. Came in around 9:00 am. No wait, and she gave me a receipt. I was in and out in two minutes. Great service, they have a good selection of packing supplies even make keys. In the shopping center with Pho ca to the left. I don't write too many YELP reviews, but I have had to go here twice for UPS shipping errors (that were no fault of this store), and each time the staff has been so patient and helpful. The last time I was there, it was packed, not everyone was as patient as I am, and everyone handled it with complete grace. I will probably have my things sent to this store going forward. Big shoutout to Alex, who promised me a phone call as an update and followed through! She was so helpful and made calls for me she didn't have to and to April as well. The whole staff is what customer service should look like. Even if they can't move at maximum speed, the thoroughness and overall culture of customer service is kind of rare nowadays. This store is normally efficient. But, I shipped some humanitarian stuff to Venezuela and they lost it. I called UPS company, filed a claim and it admitted the mistake and told me they would send me a check directly. I waited and waited but no check came. I disputed with my credit card company and UPS nor the store responded. I finally called UPS intl and they said I had to go to the store to get my money back. Spent hours on several calls.UPS policy is to not respond to disputes they are not disputing. This policy sets you back 8 weeks. The store claimed they called me but I could find no evidence of it; no message and no history of calls from the store. I believe they were trying to pocket the merchandise portion of the bill. In the meantime people suffered for LACK OF HUMANITARIAN AID! read more

I walked into the UPS store waited patiently in line. When I was wanting for the clerk (lady) behind the register to help me a man walked in. I turned back and grabbed a box behind me to ship my things in. Turned back immediately.She then stated I am going to help this man he was here first and he 16 items to send. I distantly saw him come in after I was standing in line. I then said "well I was here first". She then very rudely stated it sounds like you want to argue. I then said calm down its okay. Clerk was very rude and ready to argue. I've been there before and never had a experience like that. There are many UPS store to choose from. I'm never going there again. I was charged $1 to print a 1 page shipping label for an Amazon return. That is like 6 times the average cost to print a piece of paper. Not to mention the staff didnt seem to have any justification regarding the price. read more

The employees are usually a little rude when I go, but I had never had a problem until this time. I was returning my textbooks to different companies, and I provided them all the correct printed shipping labels. One of the employees mixed up the shipping labels and the textbook ended up being shipped to the wrong companies. I called them once I found out this happened. The manager was very rude and said this wasn't her problem. I understand everyone makes mistakes, but she even hung up on me. It's not like my books go lost in transit. Their employee sent them to the wrong address! I usually try my best to avoid this location, but I came here since the other location on Ventura Blvd accidentally mailed my passport in someone else's package. She patiently helped me through the whole process rather than make a stink about it not being ready or that I was taking up counter space. So happy! read more

I went into just send something back from amazon prime. I rarely return things and couldn't find packing tape at home. All I needed was packing tape. I went in and asked if I had to buy packing tape or if she has some I can use. She said I needed fillers into the box otherwise it would cave. It really freaking tested my patience... I waited for 10 minutes for this lady to help this other lady... I was just looking for a drop off and she said for my box she needed fillers. It's a return item, I don't need fillers. She asked me to wait until she was done with this lady who was trying to ship a computer and a watch and took forever. There was a guy who came to the line behind me who was dropping off the package was helped before me by another person. I hollered at the other guy asking if he can help me too. They said no and the girl said she would help me. Another 5 minutes went by. 2 other impatient customers came lined up behind me. She said she needed me to put the fillers in. I asked how much and she said it was $11+ I was like wtf, no. I bought packing tape for $3.50 and taped it up. Why would I want to pay $11+ to put fillers in a box?!? Queen of Reseda here. I mailed a package, a flag and frame that was given to my son from the Military when his father recently passed. When it got delivered to my son in North Carolina it was damaged. When I contacted The UPS Store at 19528 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana, and spoke with Sharona. She was so helpful and thoughtful because of the importance of the package. Sharona help me with putting in a claim because I had insured it and explained to me exactly what I needed to do. A few weeks later I received a check. People don't write of about kindness and respect much. I hope people will be more patient and slow down and enjoy life. read more

I came in to get a paper notarized. She started saying she needed to notarize different pages and started completing the paperwork without even telling me that it was $10 per signature. She refused to actually notarize the form I had and did not seem willing to take the time to realize what I actually needed notarized. The owner was rude, unfriendly, and not at all helpful. Everyone at this location has been extremely helpful to both my husband and me in whatever services we require. Friendly service as well as efficient service is all we can ask for. Friendly staff and convenient however I created the exact same order on UPS.com for $10 less. I was charged $32 here and created the shipping label myself for $22. Package Dimensions, weight, declared value, delivery speed and destination all the same so i'm not sure whats going on. There was a $10 line item on my receipt labeled "additional services" though was told this was for the declared value. Should have taken a picture of receipt before returning to the store. Fortunately, staff willingly refunded and I used the label I generated. Package shipped and delivered without issue and in same timeframe as originally requested so I'm not sure what the more expensive label included. read more

I recently needed to ship an item via UPS and the UPS store was just a few blocks from my house. I called and they informed me they were closing very soon. I rushed over with my package and was a few minutes late and I saw that they were closed. As I walked away from the front door of the store a gentleman got out of a car parked in front of the store. This person worked at the store and him and the girl who worked there knew I was coming there. As I was late I would've understood that I needed to return the next day. However the man said he was waiting for me and he reopened the store for me so I ship out my package. It was very polite and courteous of him to wait and I would like to say thank you for a job well done. It is not often in recent time to see this level of service extended to others. I needed to mail a trinket worth maybe 12$. I found a box for the trinket was already wrapped in bubble wrap. By the time the woman told me I needed another larger box, 3 more strips of bubble wrap and mailing the total was over 20$. Seriously????? I went to the US post office and it cost me $7.35.
