I usually never write reviews unless they're positive, but I think this is important to share! I returned an Amazon order here two weeks ago and have not received my refund. When I called the store they told me that I needed to follow up with Amazon. (Amazon told me to expect a refund within 2 hours of returning the package.) However, I usually return my Amazon orders at WholeFoods and always get my refund immediately after they scan the item. I had to wait until Amazon received the item and follow up with Amazon to receive the refund, which has never been my experience at WholeFoods! Maybe this is true of all UPS stores with Amazon returns but it was my first time experiencing such a delay in a refund. read more

I rarely rate a business, however I am glad I am not the only one who thinks this UPS store provides very poor service. Items that UPS provides for free are not available in this store, not even a small piece of tape. The person who helped me was polite, it must be awful to work in a place that completely frustrates the customs. read more

I gave this store a chance on numerous occasions to correct the mistakes that were being made, because after all we are all humans. Not only did they delivered my mail 7 months late (dead flowers) but the mail co tongues to be put in the wrong mailbox. I have asked multiple times to speak with the store owner and all I am told is to send an email to which I never get a response. Awful way to run a business! I would really like to personally speak with the store owner as the manager says there is nothing she can do and mistakes happen. read more

I went in to return a clock to Amazon. I forgot to bring the printed return label. I was told they would charge me $3.50 to print the one page label. I said on principal I couldn't see paying $3.50 when I had printed it at home and would go to a drop off location near my home. I immediately asked if I should have the man in the back stop before he began packing up the clock and the woman up front said no, that's ok, he can still pack it up for you. I was then charged $19.00+ for packing the clock in a box 3X the size it originally came in from Amazon. My estimated refund is only $30.99 from Amazon. I learned in the future to keep the original packaging for the 30 day return period and insure I bring my printed packing slip. Yes, they deserve to have a reasonable markup at UPS. Should they have printed the shipping label for free after charging me $19 for a 2 minute packing job and a box with bubble wrap and peanuts in it? I would have, but you decide for yourself. read more

Not sure if I missed something on the site, but I think the Notary Hours should be stated if different from all other services. It would have saved myself and possibly others time, money, and heartache. Hours of Operations say they close at 6:30, yet Notary is only available until 4pm. Huge bummer and disappointment. read more

So the TV got here finally... It didn't seem like it had been packed very well. The box was falling apart when it got here. Other small boxes were used as packing. They said they were going to take the base off of the TV, but they didn't. The TV stood on two aluminum poles on the base, and they both snapped during shipping. I had the package insured, but trying to get them to take care of the problem has been a real pain. I found the price of the replacement pieces at panasonic. I called to let them know the cost, but they wanted quote from a repair shop. They had already had me send them the base for inspection. How could I have it repaired? The replacement poles only cost $37. I should have just asked for a replacement TV. Maybe it would have been less of a hassle. read more

Wonderful! I've had very positive experiences with them in the past few years. Today, my husband took a package over there to an agent by the name of "Casey". She displayed great customer service and was very courteous - something that's very hard to find nowadays. Anyway, she helped save us money and potential issues with a let's just say..."media company" that other people have had problems with dishonesty. She did this by scanning the product that was inside of the box for proof of return so that we would not be charged as she explained how it could potentially happen where they claim they never received the product. We both really appreciate her help today. They really should have an option for NO STARS. Mailed a small package overnight delivery on a Thursday. Too late for Thursday pick up but was to ship the next day and get to the recipient Saturday. Cost me $60 for a very small package weighing a few ounces. The package was delivered Monday morning. Tracking showed the package on schedule to be delivered Saturday .. then all of a sudden it switched to Monday delivery. Looks like the UPS driver wanted to go home on Saturday afternoon and left his left over packages for Monday delivery. The girl in this store said OH UPS is much better and reliable for next day delivery than the post office. How stupid was I to believe it. I called them for a refund and the excuses about Covid this and Covid that, delivery is not guaranteed at this time. In that case don't charge people $60 to mail something that will take 4 days to deliver - just charge the 4 day delivery fee - or have the courtesy to refund all or part of the money if you can't do the job you are charging an arm or a leg for. She said she will submit my claim to UPS but there is no guarantee I get a refund. I have a feeling I will get a polite 'finger' for this from UPS if I hear back from them at all. UPS: never again. This store: never again. (oh one more thing: when I called, she actually told me that packages mailed Friday for NEXT DAY delivery actually mean Monday delivery. I told her I DON'T THINK SO; I was told Saturday, and I expect Saturday. Otherwise what's the point of over-nighting something and paying a high fee? Pissed beyond belief.) read more

This is the first time I'm leaving a review. I walked into the empty UPS store. I was returning two items from Amazon. I had my return order opened on my phone but had never done it before so I asked the girl with dark curly hair which button I need to press. She proceeded to tell me that I need to have this all ready and set up before walking in. She said especially if it's busy that she would make me stand to the side to do this. I had it opened in my hand. All I needed to do was press one button. When I did, all she had to do was scan it. It took seconds. When I proceeded to return the second item I did not have the proper mailing bag and she was annoyed. I asked her my options and she said I could come back and put it in a bag or purchase one from her. Hesitantly I purchased a bag even though I didn't want to give any money to this location. She was extremely rude and demeaning. It was not like she was busy... There were no customers in the store. I will never return at this UPS location. What happened to customer service and being kind to others? There's no way she can defend her rudeness even if she tries. I wish her the best and hope she can learn to treat others with respect and not be so condescending. read more

I have been a mult-decades customer of theirs. They recently changed owners. I had walked in and no one was behind the counter. I finally got someone to help. I had a return package with a return label. I asked him if he would tape it on and he did, right in front of me, told me all was set. I had received my package BACK on my porch 2 days later. I went in the next morning and they totally denied any responsibility for my missing return label and said I would have to call UPS. They didn't apologize for any inconvenience and they may as well have called me a liar which was already over all of his face. Upon walking in, I made eye contact with an employee who failed to greet me or even smile while she was using the copy machine. The other employee was with a customer but never looked up at me to notice my presence and greet me. As I was waiting for my turn, an older gentleman came in and another employee came out from the back, ignored me and began to help the man out when I was there first. When it was finally my turn, the interaction with the girl working went fine but she definitely could have been friendlier. Overall, the customer service here seems to be lacking big time. I personally work in retail and am accustomed to greeting people even if I'm busy. It's just polite. read more

Nothing sketchy, they said the post office doesn't take the time to look up the info - and I discovered that was absolutely the issue when I mentioned it to the mail carrier at my office & he said "you have to see the right person to get anything done, most of them are too lazy!" read more

Like the previous reviews, I too would give a negative rating if possible. It was after my mother's experience that I looked into this store. My mother went in to mail paperwork. The clerk suggested priority mail and put her envelope in an USPS Priority Mail envelope. He charged her $15.00 and said it will arrive the next day. He messed with the wrong old lady. She kept her receipt and called to make sure the envelope arrived. It didn't arrive in Woodland Hills for 4 days. Calling daily, they were looking out for it. When it arrived she asked the office what kind of envelope it was in. She was told a manilla envelope with postage stamps on it. The clerk had taken it out of the Priority envelope and put stamps on and pocketed the cash. I went into the store and got no satisfaction. Was told the clerk was out of the country. The owner was to call me and of course never did. Pretty sure this is illegal and mail fraud. We are not letting this go. If this happened to one old lady, probably has happened to others. This is not the end as I am looking into this serious offense. read more

Few issues: 1- GOD they are expensive compared to USPS or even FEDEX, i do not care what level of service they provide, they are VERY expensive. 2- Do not ever attempt to buy and pack something there, they take whatever you want to pack to "measure it" in the back, come back with it packed and charge you for popcorn filling before they even tell you the cost. 3- I tried a Saturday shipment from there since USPS was already closed at that time, i paid 65$ thinking it will leave then, apparently, it does not get picked up until Monday night and i could have shipped it faster, cheaper, on Monday with USPS. (PS: 65$ for the cheapest ground service possible, what a rip-off these UPS stores are). I only use them when i do not have time since they are so close to me, but, with this insane rate they have, i tend to regret it every time and therefore, will NEVER ship from there again. Granted these stores are owned by a franchisee, but, not worth it dealing with a middle man that just tends to over charge. PS: try to send a fax or copy something there.. read more

The service here is not only friendly, but thorough and welcoming. I mail lots of large packages for a soldier's family from this location. I used to think this store was helpful. In Feb, had my fingerprints done with Livescan. Supposed to get results in two weeks. Started checking after a month-NOTHING. after FIVE more visits, each time staff taking name and number to have mgr call, contacted Sec of State. Turns out sent to wrong number and needs to be redone. Return to store, mgr not in but staff puts note right in front. Returned next AM-FINALLY mgr there who checks back logs and tells me I had the wrong form. Finally 10%discount but no more. Asked why never contacted me, especially note from prior nite-DENY, DENY, DENY, FAKE APOLOGY!!! EIGHT VISITS and never got an answer. I agree with ALL negative reviews here and on Google, they are horrible. They would have gone out of business if not for location. But I'm another who will never go again-use Office Locale across the street-excellent professional service. read more

I went in late last year to have passport pictures taken and the document notorized. There was one employee there who told me the owner was the only notary and that she would be back in the afternoon; not very customer or business oriented. I went to the UPS store on Avenida de Los Arboles. They took care of everything for me in minutes. I've been going there ever since and they have never disappointed. read more

Rented an expensive item and had it delivered here as I was visiting from out of state and was required to sign for the package. They refused to release my package without paying a package pick up fee because I didn't have a mailbox there... on top of the $25 I already paid for shipping. I'll never use this franchised location again (management is NOT good) and likely won't be a UPS returning customer. Too many issues. read more

I went into this store to send some Amazon returns.. I usually go to the Malibu store but I was in this neighborhood at the doctor's office.. a perhaps Middle Eastern bald man said that I would have to go on their computer to print out my return labels from my Amazon account.. I asked if I could just send them the email of the labels from my phone the way I do with Malibu because he said it would cost me $3 to use their computer.. Plus a $.35 charge for the printing of each of the labels.. He said if sent the email from my phone Amazon would charge me extra.. I told him I have done it several times before in Malibu and I was never charged extra.. he was adamant and did not want me to do it from my phone.. so I went to my car and I called Amazon to find out why this policy has changed or if it was different for each store.. Amazon says we do not charge you to email information to anywhere.. I came back yet and I told him guess what Amazon won't charge me he said well we will charge you for our time because we have to get on the computer.. really? The UPS Store in Malibu is so nice they jump on it they tell you how to send it to them they pull it up from their computer print it and they even charge me less per page to print.. I sent three items for Malibu back to Amazon and they charged me $0.66.. this UPS Store takes advantage and overcharges I've never experienced this from UPS I will never be using this store again fortunately I don't live near this one.. on my way to Malibu I stopped at the Calabasas store they charge $2 to use their computer I will stick with Malibu who does not charge you at all to email your return labels to them read more

On May 21, 2016, I paid $40.22 for expedited 3-day shipping to ensure that a package got to Michigan by May 26, 2016. It did not. In fact, it ultimately arrived three weeks late. More than five months later, I am waiting for this store, or UPS Store HQ, or UPS, to provide a refund. The owner of this UPS Store offered me credit, but frankly, after this experience, I do not intend to purposely use UPS or UPS Store ever again, so I want my money. Besides, that's not the point. I paid for a service I did not receive. I should be entitled to a refund. I've spoken with a variety of UPS customer service people, even an executive at the company who assured me I would receive a refund, and nothing. At this point, I have complained on the UPS Facebook page, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, and I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. I've also written an article about this, posted on Medium.com (search UPS or UPS Store tags). I'm playing phone tag with the Ventura County District Attorney's office, but will file a complaint there, too. I'll be reaching out to The Acorn, and local Los Angeles TV news stations to see if they want to do a story. Seems appropriate given that the holidays are approaching. Honestly, I don't care about the money anymore. This is now David vs. Goliath. All they had to do was refund my $40. Unbelievable. read more
