Because it's close to where I live, it's a convenient place for me to ship specific stuff by UPS or even by USPS if I'm too lazy to make another stop. The only thing with USPS is that they don't offer all the USPS options (i.e. Parcel Post) Materials are also kinda pricey here, but at least they have a good selection! read more

Worst service ever! I came in at 5:03pm and was turned away. The girl working said that they were closed even though hours are until 6:30pm. All I wanted to do is drop off a package that I had in my car. When I went back to my car to leave I saw another person try to make a drop off and they accepted their package. It seemed like the person working was just trying to close shop early because it was New Years Eve. Unacceptable, if anyone is trying to make a drop off during final hours, you might as well go to the union city location. I went there after and they gladly accepted my package. read more

I'm new to the area. I lived her lil over 8 months. I understand people can have a bad day. But its been my 4th visit & I always get the worst customer service. The other day I was in line. I dont mind waiting. But waiting in line & getting treated like you're stupid isnt good. The blonde headed girl that works there is always arguing with a customer or she's just plainly rude. It sucks that she is representing UPS store with her rudeness. People dont mind paying more or extra since everything is over price here as long as people get good treatment & good customer service from the employees! Sunday 8/09 my wife & I came in for some prints and the young lady Zuly dropped everything she was doing to help us out.She was professional, kind with a GREAT sense of humor she was able to multi-task i watched her help customers & nobody waited for less than 10 seconds in line she is very efficient and super fast (I've had to wait in line at this store for more than 15 mins before and have dealt with rude employees here ) I'm glad i returned and was able to change my perspective on this store she made me change my mind on what i thought about it! One of the most helpful UPS locations I have shipped from! The staff is super patient and helpful, even when they are serving unreasonable customers that are frequent in the area. I ship items about 2-4 times per week, and I am always helped by Zuley who always keeps a good attitude even if I am smiling 24 individual packages With tracking that day. Coming into the store so often it's really impressive how Zuley and the rest of the staff calmly help all customers no matter the level of rudeness they are displaying that day. read more

I'm always in the area, and I stop by the store every now and then. I mainly buy manila envelopes. +The store is small, but features over 80 mailboxes. There are also 3 copy machines, and they're usually available (copies are about $.18 each). There's also a big counter in the middle of the store that you can use (to write out envelopes, for example). +The selection is minimal, but a fair amount of supplies are sold here (ex: packaging tape; bubble wrap; small calculators; boxes; Scotch Tape). +The manila envelopes are well-priced. I was even given a discount last time (I bought some $.69 envelopes, but was only charged $.59 each for them- the woman was distracted by another customer). +In most cases, you'll be in and out within a few minutes (the store is rarely busy). +/-The employees have always been friendly and helpful to me, but some other reviewers have been treated rudely. -The owner always makes me uncomfortable (as far as I know, he and 2 women are the only employees). He's nice, but he's clearly from somewhere else (his mannerisms and the way he responds to questions are "off"). He also tries too hard (in other words, he's a pest). They can be like dimly lit bulbs, but I prefer dealing with the women. -Stamps are sold here, but you have to pay about a dollar more for a book. The store is also sometimes out of stamps (Safeway is just a few doors down). -Dawn L. (I just supersized her name) hates the parking lot even more than I do (that's hard to believe). It's fu----- terrible. -You can go on the Internet here, but privacy is an issue (the computer is right by the counter). You also have to wait for an employee to get you started, and going online for just a few minutes costs a few dollars. -Shipping a package is somewhat costly, and no supplies are provided (when my wife shipped a package to her father in 2009, we had to buy bubble wrap and packaging tape- a reviewer of one of the San Francisco locations complains about tape not being provided, but I actually understand why a small business can't afford to offer too much). Anyway, it cost about $10 for my wife to ship something to Arizona (the package at least arrived quickly, and the contents were in good shape). The store is adequate. The lady here was beyond rude. She didn't smile, barely helped me out, and just told me what is what. She had so much attitude. I only came because I didn't want to drive all the way to the post office and stand in line but I'd rather stand in line and be treated with good customer service than horrible customer service. I left so disappointed. The only reason for 2 stars was because I was in and out in like 3 minutes. When I was done helping me, she just handed me a paper and stopped talking to me so I had no idea we were done so I was standing there like wtf. I used this UPS for shipping a pack of two boxes. The service station at this place is very expensive, to print a shipping label by accessing internet costed me $3.95 and it woudl have costed me just under a $1 at another printing service place like FEDEX. To tape the box, they charged me $3.00 for under 3-4 feet of duct tape. Shipping places like FEDEX, USPS would do that for free for you and even hand over the tape to you to use as much as you need. I will never ever go to this place again! The old lady with black hairs is really rude. Today, I was mailing my amazon prepaid package. It is a tiny box with a return label. Wow. Just had a very bad experience in this ups store. The lady that took care of me was tianna as it says in the receipt. She did not have any badge on. Shes a young asian lady. Does not look aproachable. I was just dropping off my items from at&t. If i had to describe my transaction with her it would be like this: HER- YOU DROPPING OFF STUFF? GIMME YOUR SH*T! The customer service was the worst I'd ever had. The clerk was rude and very reluctant to help. I went there to pick up a package. I gave my driver's license to the clerk there and the lady couldn't find the package for me and kept saying it's not there even though I pulled out the reminder email. I rented a mail box and it's been more than 6 months since my last visit to this store. There was no number on my key to the box, so I asked very politely whether she could find the box number for me and she immediately responded that she couldn't. I questioned "you cannot find the box number linked to my name?" and she questioned "you applied for the box?" and then found the number. While I was heading to my box, she blamed me "you need to remember your box number!" I had to go so I didn't want to waste my time arguing with her. Then I found my package label lying there... This store charges for everything even to tape a box! I could do that myself if they hand the tape to me. They also charge for envelopes but in the UPS store in Office Depot in Brentwood, they do not! They have the worst service ever! The guy thy helped me wasn't very nice. Okay, UPS stores usually provides good customer service however this is the total opposite. Upon entering, the lady that helped me seemed like she didn't even wanna help me or that I'm bothering her???? She was not doing anything at all, just standing there when I walked in. I had to return a book and she said that they charge $1 for it to be taped??? Like are you serious?? Last time I came in they didn't charge me and they took care of it and I was out of the store less than five minutes.. So then I didn't have my card and went back to get it only for her to tell me that "there's a $5 minimum using your card" At that point I was like are you serious?!?? And she said "you can buy any tape and charge it in your card" and ok I bought a tape for $3.99 and she accepted it below $5 minimum?? I totally don't understand? Why can't she charge me $1 for taping it instead of me buying a $3.99 tape when they're both under $5? That did not make sense to me.
