Came into this UPS location to return Direct TV equipment. Unfortunately due to technical issues with Direct TV we were unable to find my account. During the entire time I was there the owner was rude, looked annoyed and wasn't helpful at all. He seemed pissed that I was there on the phone with direct tv trying to figure it out. I went in late in the afternoon with a toddler and about 16 things to mail to different addresses and a few additional service is needed. Seema was there to assist me with everything. She made it super easy and convenient even with the child in tow. I did not have to wait in line any longer than necessary, because Seema was able to take my requests and ensure that what I needed to get done did get done, but that I did not have to stand there in a long line while engaging my toddler and trying to keep her contained in the store in the midst of Covid. Seema also demonstrated exceptional customer care to several other families in the store who had young children with them. Seema also followed up with me multiple times when I left, and made everything so incredibly easy to get all the different things done that I needed to do. I could not have had a better experience from the products, to the customer service, to the care that she took in shipping each of the items I needed to have sent off. She was truly amazing and I highly recommend visiting this UPS store. read more

Talk about terrible customer service, I think UPS hands out these franchises to just about anybody. I kid you not, I get to the front of the line w/my rather large package (its a bike, NOT uncommon at all, UPS and FedEx ship them ALL the time) and the UPS guys says to me with a snotty attitude, "WHAT DO WE THINK WE ARE DOING WITH THIS TODAY?!". I'm thinking, "I'm in shipping store...did this guy forget where he is working...is he drunk?!" I guess I'm spoiled from the professionalism and efficiency at FedEx shipping stores where I do most of my shipping. I'm pretty sure the ONLY way this place stays in business is because most FedEx places are closed on Sunday. Here's a ProTip UPS guy: condescension and snarky attitude, even when done with a smile and a cute attempt to be "quirky" is bad customer service. I think you need to examine your career choices. If you have shipping needs, do yourself a favor, skip UPS (especially this store) and go to the MANY FedEx stores around. Even if you ship at a UPS store on Sunday, its not going out until Monday usually anyway. On top of all that, FedEx prices just about always beat UPS in my experience. read more

I arrived with a larger item that needed to be sent back for a return. The person working wanted to charge $20 to tape the box which is ridiculous. Do what is right for your customer and just tape the box. They would have received the sale of the overpriced box! I would recommend other locations (who have helped with tape in the past) over this one. The worker was very unfriendly about it and seemed she didn't care about the business. read more

The other day I came in to ship my Christmas packages out to the east coast, the center associate Viennetta was kind enough to repack my grandmother's crystal vase. It arrived in Boston in a wonderful condition! I've recommended my friends to visit this store if they want their valuables packaged correctly. I'd rather pay more for packaging than dealing with the long lines and unfriendly employees at the post office. read more

Came here last Sunday for some document to be notarized. The male worker informed me that they have the service from Monday through Saturday. Came in today. Guess what. No notary. The female worker, clearly showing no desire to work there, said they "usually" have someone for it from Monday through Friday. I explained I came here for the second time because of the information I was given. No apology or no smile. No nothing. Terrible service and now I know why this place has only 2.5 stars. read more

Thank goodness there is more then just this UPS store in the area. The guy working the counter at 12pm today was snotty enough to keep us from coming back. We brought in an Amazon return and told him it needed to be taped up. He rudely says "just for future reference there is a tape up fee". He could have said instead "the tape up fee is $____" or I'll tape for you this time as a courtesy", but no, he had to be snotty about it. I'm glad I was snotty back saying that I was not going to pay $4+ for a roll of tape! Not like it will change his behavior, but it made me feel better :D read more

It really is as good as it gets. These noble people accept returns of ATT U-Verse equipment. By the time someone has to go to the UPS Store to return the ATT equipment - they are probably frustrated & furious. I boxed the equipment and took it to them and they said - "how nice but you didn't need to do that - but we will wrap it". They accepted everything and were gracious, smiled and were simply wonderful. I have come in for notary which is always swiftly and efficiently done - ALWAYS OUTSTANDING SERVICE. The ATT Return service they offer is EXCEPTIONAL in comparison to the unreliable and "less than forthcoming" ATT people. This is now my "go to" store for all shipping needs. Well done everyone! Horrible. Forget using this place if you have a UPS account. They actually charged me to pick up a package I had shipped there --- and threatened to send it back if I didn't cough up. Go to Fed Ex, it's cheaper, or do everything at home with an account and simple drop stuff off here. read more

Don't trust the 3-star rating - it's old. I went in the other day to pick up packing tape and bubble wrap and noticed the store is under new management. The family that now owns the store was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I actually had fun buying tape and bubble wrap. They're doing an amazing job. read more

You know how it goes when you try to return something and they omit the fact that not only do you have to pay for shipping but 20% for restocking. That's just the beginning of your problems when you find out you are dealing with a middle man. My only saving grace was working with Jeannine at the UPS store in Walnut Creek, Ca.
