I've used this location many times to return my Amazon items with no issues. Tonight was the exception & they lost a customer. The employee was no help even though I kept telling him my return was scheduled via Amazon app as free including a label & box (which I needed because my purchase came in a huge box that wouldn't have worked for this one item). He kept me waiting while he helped other customers who came in after me & when he finally paid attention to me he was going to charge me $2 for a box! How is that a free return? He told me it's Amazon's fault but that left me no where! From here on out I'm using Whole Foods for my personal & business item returns. read more

This location is little. One employee working, who you can tell is overworked. Stacks of outgoing packages fill up the place. Probably because this location is in between a lot of corporate businesses. I am usually able to get my packages scanned and a receipt received in two minutes. Service is nothing extraordinary. You get a "is that all I can help you with?" And that's it. This last visit I needed the employee to lift a few large packages out of my vehicle. He was helpful but I could tell he had a lot on his mind that he had to do so my request felt like another thing on his to do list and he made it obvious. Definitely not as happy as the dude in the stock photo Easy to get to. NOTE: Parking lot is overly full due to the restaurant next-door. My first experience here was fine. The young guy working was helpful. It wasn't review worthy, but mediocre. My second experience, not good. I care in to send a return. I cheerfully said hello. No response from the girl working no greeting. No "How can I help you". Nothing. I told her I needed to send this off. No response she did her thing, then printed the receipt handed it to me and said, "Here". Wow!!!!!!!! I moved to West Des Moines 10 months ago, and frankly, I love this smaller shop! I now know my staffer there, Teah, and she is absolutely amazing at "the little things" on the customer service-side of things. She evens does her best to find me the best value (savings) when packing/shipping. Think of this store as a "boutique." I love it and will continue to use it! read more

This UPS store used to be great. I'm not sure if it has changed hands or what. Now every time I go in to ship anything they are a hassle. They are the least helpful people ever. If you go in to make an Amazon return, they charge you for tape. If you need a box, instead of offering to sell you a box (which I'm sure they have) they say "I cannot accept this package!" They are incredibly rude and they don't know a thing about customer service. I will be driving across town to another location from this point forward for my shipping needs. read more

When my UPS package sent at this site didn't arrive, I looked up the tracking number and found the message that the package "had not been received" by UPS. I immediately returned to the store and the one person working called the manager. The manager initiated an investigation and I was told that I would hear more in 4-5 days, well past my granddaughter's birthday for which the package was intended. The Manager kept track of the investigation daily by calling and was happy to inform me that the package was delivered two days later. I'm not sure where it was found, but I was happy that it had been found and that the manager took a special interest in making sure it was found rather than simply paying out the insurance. read more

The first time I went, it was on a Saturday where the OPEN sign was lit up but, when I pull in, the store was locked up. The second time, I was able to go inside and stood around with another person for ten minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. No one ever came up front so I left. The store was completely unattended and left open for anyone to walk in and grab what they wanted. As I was getting ready to leave in my car, the worker showed up and walked into the building, right past the gentleman still waiting, and went to the back room without acknowledging him. I use UPS often. This is the best customer service I have ever received!! They assisted in picking up two items for me from a retail store, paid for it, I then reimbursed them via a pay account! They are packaging and shipping them out to me today, and they eased my and my daughters mind tremendously! I initially spoke with Beth who was very nice, kind and efficient, she referred me to Bindiya (the owner) who personally picked the items up and made this happen for my daughter. I wish everyone cared this much and provided such excellent customer service as this fine establishment! Everyone should flock to this store for exemplary customer care! This is place is the WORST!! The man who works here is the rudest individual I have ever encountered in a retail store. I asked him a question when dropping off a prepaid package and he literally ignored me. EVERY time I have been here it's the same a-hole. I will start driving miles out of my way to go somewhere else. I can only imagine this man is the owner and that's why he hasn't been fired. read more

This is probably THE WORST ups store I've ever encountered. The first time a package of mine was delivered to them, they told me the day/time it would be available for pick up. I went in and it wasn't there. Came back the next day, still no package. Came back on the THIRD day and waited in what I thought was a line for about 10mins before the guy behind the counter says "find your package and take it". Never asked to see an ID or UPS slip, so I grabbed my package and left. I could have literally picked up any package and left with it and they wouldn't have had a clue. Flash forward to my next package delivery and I'm calling to see if it has arrived. The guy answers, isn't even trying to conceal the fact that he hates his life, and hangs up on me before I'm finished asking him about available pick up times. Your package would be safer outside your home/apartment than here, plus you won't get a migraine from dealing with these people. read more

I am only giving this 1 star because it would not let me leave a comment with zero stars. The owner at this location is a complete jerk. He is incredibly rude and actually told me he doesn't care if my package makes it where it needs to go. He said he doesn't care if I use UPS are not. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. He obviously hates his job and his life. He should not be allowed to own a business representing UPS or any other business that requires him to work with people. read more

I can only give this UPS store 1 star and that is only becaUse you have too. Absolutely horrible service. I went there a year before to drop off a package and the guy working there was just disrespectful and rude. I usually don't go back to a place that provided horrible service, but decided to give them a second chance, since I work close by. 1st Bad experience - I stopped at 11:15 and the Open sign was on, but door is locked. 2nd Bad experience - I come back a couple hours later and same guy from a year ago is there and I get the same rude service and there is the same sloppiness inside. From across the room he shouts Thank you! I thought he was talking to the woman that just left before me so I continue to stand at the counter. No he was talking to me and just wanted me to leave my package, so he comes walking up with a look of what do you want. I ask if I could please get a receipt and he practically rolls his eyes slams the package down on the other side of the counter and prints it. I don't get it, don't most people want a receipt?? No thank you, nothing. Just rude. read more
