I'm going to start by saying: I wish they did more than central vacuums because I would hire them 10 out of 10 times. We recently purchased a single-story 3,600 sqft home that was built in 1966 but had several additions to it in 2012. Most of the first floor is Brazilian slate, which is the largest chore in the world to try to clean. It nigh impossible to sweep clean because of the natural stones grooves, depressions, and edges. I called The Vac Dudes, and the owner Aaron personally called me back that day and we discussed what I would like, the type of attachments and my budget. Within days he his crew was there to take measurements and discuss best placement for the suction outlets. It's always harder to add a system to an existing build, but they didn't turn us away. The following week two workers arrived to start the job (for anyone that has tried to do ANY kind of remodeling in 2020/2021, you understand how incredible it was to have them out so quickly to do the work). There was one hiccup after another for outlet placement due to the way the additions had be pieced on to the existing house. There was no way to predict that and I got nervous that they wouldn't be able to complete the job. I was wrong. They came back the next day to finish the job and were able to polish everything off. When we discovered that one outlet was throwing a breaker, they came back out free of charge to fix the issue. Aaron was available via phone, text, and email and usually responded within 30 minutes. I used Aaron, of The Vac Dudes, to fix our central vac system in-order to upgrade our 1980 Air Vac system. His recommendations offered a perfect upgrade for our house at a reasonable price. At our install, Aaron checked the vacuum hose to be sure that the fit was proper and did not leak air. He also checked all the hose connections on the inside of the house to be sure that the connections were free and did not have any vacuum clog. My SilentMaster Central Vac, which was installed 20 years ago, stopped working properly a few weeks ago. The suction dropped to less than half of what it should be. The guys who installed it are long out of business. Did not know who to call. Found The Vac Dudes last evening on the internet, emailed them using their online form, and Aaron (the owner) replied right away. He came out late afternoon today, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it on the spot. So, 24 hours after contacting him, my vac is up and running beautifully (one of two motors was fried), a clogged section of pipe is now unclogged, and I'm a happy man. Review is for phone call. My central vacuum cleaner was not working, there were no suction. I called a vacuum company in Irvine that had many good yelp reviews. The person asked questions about the problem and then explained the service call charge and possible other charges if they have to take the unit into their shop. I then saw the Vac Dudes on another site and called them. Aaron asked questions and then instructed me to troubleshoot lightly. Next thing I know, there's suction. He explained further to educate me on how things work. Here's another clue how I know he is legit: he was able to tell me the brand name of the vacuum system when he asked me and I was only able to describe the canister. I checked after the conversation and it was the same name he mentioned. I fried both motors on our 20+ year old Broan CV40 central vacuum recently. The company that installed the unit was no longer in business so we needed to research a local company who would perform on-premise installation of the new motors. Fortunately i found The Vac Dudes.
