Great location and fantastic sunsets. The server we had at the bar was incredibly rude. Kaycee? I normally don't leave a negative however she seemed like we were such a bother ordering two drinks. In fact she helped the person behind us Before even greeting us as we were first up standing at the bar. She did not say thank you, put my receipt and card on the counter and walked away. I don't know that people come here for the food as much as they come for the views! The view is amazing. We try to bring all of our out of town family and friends here when they visit. I will say their roast chicken dish was delicious! Also their homemade hummus appetizer plate was so good, I would come back for that and a nice glass of wine while overlooking all of Verrado. The Vic has a great location, with a nice elevated view over the west valley. Service was good, but the food was not up to the location. The steak mac and cheese wasn't a pile of mac and cheese with pieces of steak on top like you would expect, it was a steak with a small bowl of mac as a side. The fish and chips was just flat out bad, heavily breaded, greasy, and soggy. read more

This place was very busy so we sat outside with no wait. It was really cold though. Everyone got their food except me. Then they brought my burger out made wrong without the fries. Finally they fixed it and came back with fries. The fries and ranch are good but the fries were a little over salted. The hamburger was really good. All was fine except my daughter found part of a plastic bag in her salad. Nothing was even done about it. Like does that happen often here . Idk. As you pull up on this beautiful restaurant you are in for a surprise! Located on the top of a hill, The Vic not only has good food but a lovely view! We arrived an hour before they closed and there was about a 20-25min which almost seemed like nothing as we were mesmerized by the stunning view where you wait to get seated. We were quickly guided to our table and not long after our server came by to get our order. Now the waitress we had was not the greatest, we dismissed it because it was close to closing so she probably just wanted to go home (Understandably). Food: We tried the pear salad as an appetizer which was good but nothing too special, as for the entrees we had the caprese flatbread which was sooo good and the salmon which was even better and not to mention the portion sizing was quite big and filling! Food is great, service is fantastic, and the menu is perfect. The view is also phenomenal.

We went to this restaurant while visiting family in AZ. We had a lovely time. It is located on a golf course at the top of the hill. The views of the valley are wonderful. You also have the view of the Verrado stairs which is something that is nice to look at but I wouldn't participate in. I had the chicken wrap and Caesar salad that was very good. My husband at the italian panini and he was pleased with it. I forgot to take photos of the food but did take some of the area. I'd suggest stopping by even if you just have a drink and appetizers. We did get the hot lava cake for dessert and it was great. read more

Quite a unique location. The Vic has a view unlike any other in Phoenix. Nestled on the west side, in Verrado, we throuroughly enjoyed our lunch. The Bangers were a little underwhelming, but the remainder of our meal and crafty drinks exceeded expectations. Prices are reasonable, a little high for an typical lunch, but not so high that it will keep us from returning next time we are in Verrado. The full bar lends itself to a wide arrangement of wines and whiskeys. Not my cup of tea, but certainly can cater to those with the pallet for such. The restaurant shares real estate with a golf club's spa and has what appeared to be an art display and/or space available for special events. A large outdoor seating option will be great during the fall/winter months, when its not so hot out. I look forward to making that trip in December! read more

Brung my husband here for his birthday lunch. Very nice place to enjoy a quiet lunch. We had the fish and chips and the sausage mushroom flat bread. Both were delicious and tasty. My husband and I are new to the area and wanted to give this a go simply for the fabulous views, though we were admittedly turned off by a lot of the reviews we'd seen regarding poor service. Luckily, we decided to give it a chance and were so pleasantly surprised! We went with two other couples and were so well taken care of by our waitress, Ashli. I got the pan-seared chicken and gnocchi, which tasted good, but in all honesty didn't wow me- especially since my portion was smaller than the rest of the table's. Everyone else raved about their food, however- not bad prices at all for the quality of food, atmosphere, and beautiful views of Verrado! However, things have changed. They improved the menu, and drinks. The menu have a great variety and the entrees haven't disappointed. Currently sitting outside and we have lived 3 miles from this restaurant for 7 years. We ordered the wings very tasty but they forgot the buffalo sauce. By the time it arrived we were done. We ordered soda water with lime and we had to go to bar to get our waters as they forgot those too. We ordered Caesar salad and it should have been called Garlic salad as the whole garlic cloves was covering the salad! It was not great at all. We figured we will leave and not come back as when we tried to share our concern that our hot wings had no hot sauce it was just ignored. This place is over priced and service is bad!! read more

Bacon avocado red pepper is really good. Great crunch to the bread and great flavors. Service wasn't top notch, but they caught me at a patient time after a round of golf. Moved to Arizona from California this past weekend and was told by a friend to go in for brunch. The location is beautiful and the ambiance makes you feel like the rest of the experience will be just as worthy. Unfortunately my experience wasn't enough to entice me back for a second visit. The food was alright but the process completely severed any chance there could be for me to return. I don't know if it was our server or if it was the kitchen staff, but it took multiple times for them to get our orders right. I don't like being the customer that returns his/her food if one small thing is off, but when you hand over a completely different platter than what you've order I will speak up. On top of that, our order was missing bacon. Upon the arrival of the bacon, my company and I could see instantly that the bacon was not fully cooked. I felt bad for having our server come back and forth, but a place like this should upkeep a specific dining execution. The Steve Cocktail was my favorite item on the menu I'll admit. It boasts turtle pecan and Bourbon which blend so well together. There was even turtle pecan in the single large ice cube in my drink! Way to stick with the theme! I also enjoyed the Chipotle flatbread pizza, which was really good. It was thin and very personal sized, but was cut into 6 slices, perfect for sharing. I expected this though ordering from the appetizer section since I wasn't too hungry but wanted something to hold me until dinner and it did just the trick. My friends had the pretzel bread Reuben sandwich, which I did mildly envy, but that's okay because I'll most likely order that next time. The setting outdoors is beautiful. The Vic is nestled on a hill with scenic views of the surrounding mountains nearby and the rolling hills of the golf course and community of Victory below. This is a drive to get here but definitely worth checking out. read more

This place seems to try and operate on minimal staff. This was a problem before Covid and is noticeably worse now. My daughter and I arrived yesterday around 4:30 hoping for an early dinner. The hostess greeted us kindly. We were told there was a 35 minute wait for an outdoors table. Knowing we could order a glass of wine at the bar and sit on the patio we went ahead and put my name in. Headed to the bar and sat on a stool. No menu, not even disposable. Dead phone, so I couldn't access QR code. Bartender didn't look up but headed to the back vacating the bar for close to ten minutes before I awkwardly wandered off. I went back outside to sit with my daughter on the patio to wait, noticing on the way by that there were two empty tables on the patio, but when I asked she told me they had been sitting empty the entire time I was waiting at the bar. She handed me the menu on her phone, and I noticed they've reduced it to a handful of items, just two mixed drinks, etc. we sat for another 15 minutes and realized the two empty tables hadn't been filled so we got up and had a lovely dinner at grazie instead.
