However, each of the items we ordered had excellent flavor. I would come back again purely for the fries and beer. Might need to scout the table options in order to identify where we would prefer to be seated for a more comfortable dining experience.

They are pretty fast the place is clean they have a buffet that my husband loves he says is very good reasonable for the price food tastes fresh and it's clean. I'm extremely picky with what I eat I don't do too much spicy so I have a hard time dealing with the foods I pick to eat, but monk had some fish that they made for me and it was delicious not greasy and overcooked it wasn't spicy at all. We try to go to monks once a month because the food can get pretty heavy In your body but we love this place I really recommend this place more than others.

Still one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the greater Indy region. 3/5 stars however because the food was lukewarm and did not seem well-maintained. Despite the good assortment of options to choose from, the buffet didn't seem as clean as I would have liked. If you don't mind these things it's definitely good bang for your buck. My recommendation is to order regular entrees for dinner though. Not sure if it's a different chef or manager during those times but this was my husband's consensus as well. We both have ordered takeout here countless times but decided not to return for the buffet. We like our food hot and fresh and will pay the premium for that in the future. They didn't have palak paneer or paneer tikka masala for brunch either which are what I typically eat.

When we arrived, the place was empty. We weren't even sure that they were open until we saw the kitchen staff behind the line. Upon entering, I saw a kiosk where you can place your order, but a woman emerged from the back to take our orders. Being that we weren't familiar with the menu, I told her that the kiosk might be easier. She insisted that it wasn't, and as I went on, I realized the same. The kiosk states that there is a $1.25 charge for the sauce on the side, but she explained that it comes with one sauce free of charge and additional sauces cost extra. We placed our order with her: A small Italian salad to share, the Fatty B calzone with the spicy marinara sauce and the Hot Mother Clucker calzone with the chipotle garlic ranch. We ordered them with the suggested sauces but also order the regular marinara and the garlic sauces on the side. We were given glasses for water (self-serve from the soda fountain) and also ordered a bottled beer and canned cider. By the time we were done ordering, a line had formed. The store was understaffed, which was explained to us later, so we had to exercise patience. We didn't receive our beverages until after the calzones were delivered. Before that, we received our rather large, small salad. It was more than enough for two people. The woman had explained to us that it comes with 4 cups of lettuce plus the toppings. That information helped us make our decision to share. The space is large and we noticed cornhole boards to be used on the patio. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went, otherwise we would have played. The calzones were good and filling. Neither of us finished ours and had food to enjoy at home later that evening. The Hot Mother Clucker isn't very pizza-esque, but dipping it into marinara sort of brought it back into the fold. The suggested chipotle garlic ranch was a better pairing indeed. The salad bowl/plate is oddly shaped, which caused toppings to being spilling off the sides. When it was brought to our table, the woman tried saving the toppings by wedging them between the order slip and her fingers and dumping them back onto our plate. I stopped her. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I don't want to eat food that a stranger's hands have touched. I explained this to her. She tried to assure us that she washes her hands constantly throughout the day, but she'd just come over from the register without a handwashing break. Just let the toppings fall where they may! Let's keep it hygienic.

The space is on the smaller side and the tables are quite close to each other. Low light ambience with high noise levels. They have plenty of bar seating as well. The first thing I noticed is how *small* the table was - not more than 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft to seat 4. It's more a table for two that was forced to be a table for 4. We were three of us but it was tight when our entree plates, drinks etc were on the table. We ordered the bread plate and meatballs for starters. The bread and the oil that came with it were excellent. Great ciabatta and focaccia. The meatballs were tender and flavorful! For our entree we had the rigatoni e salsiccia pasta, gabriele and stuffed shrimp. The stuffed shrimp was excellent and the accompanying risotto was great. Gabriele was also very delicious. The salsiccia pasta was however heavy on bell peppers - not chopped, part of sauce kinda but large slices of bell pepper. The flavor of the sausage was not evident in the sauce which was made to be very one dimensional with the bell pepper flavor. If you absolutely love bell pepper, this might be the best dish for you. Not so much for us. For dessert we had the chocolate torte - that was pretty good - giant cake, with different textured layers. We did try couple of their mocktails and they were tasty and unique. Service at the start of the evening was super slow and absentee kind, but got better later. My biggest negative to point out here would be the tight spaces and small tables.

Having lived in Westfield 20 years I have always wanted to try this place. We've heard good things about the food and bad things about the smell of smoke inside. If you're like me, in the 80% of non smokers in Indiana, this place will be off putting when you walk in. If you can make it through to the right hand side door to the patio you'll. be rewarded with good food, cold beer, at very reasonable prices. Pro Tip: Park on the west side next to the patio. Just let the bartender know you're outside. The inside and outside are nothing to look at; a criteria for a hole in the wall. Shelby was working the day we stopped in, and recommended the tenderloin, burgers, pizza, and wraps. They have quite the assortment of menu items. I went for the tenderloin and tots with a side of beer. I will preface this to say, I am not a tenderloin connoisseur. I just had my first tenderloin during COVID, ~2021, down in Edinburgh, IN which was fantastic, but three people could have shared it. I found this one to be just as good. I actually preferred this one due the smaller, single serving size. My wife ordered the Burger Wrap. Think a hamburger chopped up and rolled in a tortilla with lettuce, tomato and pickles with a side of Ruffles. She really enjoyed it. We'll be back as long as wether permits outdoor dining. They serve Coke products and I opted for beer, which was served ice cold on the warm summer day.

We had a group of 3 for an early Mother's Day dinner. We started off with a peach (or orange) martini and an old fashioned. The martini was fantastic. Old fashioned tasted like water. The spinach dip we shared was good and I would recommend it. All three of us ordered steaks, all medium rare. All three steaks came out over cooked - medium well at best. And the veggies (broccoli on one plate and green beans on another) were undercooked. I was most disappointed by the level of service we received. We hardly saw our server, and she never asked us if we wanted more drinks - which we would have happily ordered more to keep chatting away the evening. We had to flag her down even to get water refills. All three of us agreed that we didn't feel very welcome that evening. Again, maybe we just happened to go on a bad night, and would maybe try again for a better experience.
