No mains after an hour and a half. I don't complain frequently but I didn't understand why we weren't able to get eod te ordering a few bottles of wine. We officially got it at an hour and 40min mark. They have an extremely limited mains choice total and all 5 of us chose the same main, and we're not too picky about our meal (medium/mediums rare). This is unexpected for a restaurant of this caliber... The servers are nice, but the level of service is extremely poor for what you're paying. Update - an hour and 41 min later, we got the steak frites. It's not bad. Good luck. I would be go back if I didn't have pallets and needed a steak. Most of us did not finish our dinner.

I feel like our group tried a little bit of everything and all I have to say is WOW!!! Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The staff were so friendly and the food delicious!! My favorite appetizers were the beef tartar and deviled eggs. My favorite main dishes were the salmon and the Beef Bourguignon. Though we also tried the chicken, Gnocchi, Pommes Purée, Glazed Mushrooms, Steak Frites, French Onion Soup, Lyonnaise Salad, Cheese & Charcuterie, & Pain au Levain ( OMG the butter, directly from France!!!!) I highly recommend d this place. When you go... order a few things and share them family style. You won't regret it!!

Conveniently located near several downtown staple stops, it's an easy addition to an afternoon or evening exploring the area. The cocktail menu is extensive, with plenty of creative options and stories behind many of the drinks. For my fellow gin cocktail girlies, I'd recommend starting with the Bronx Cocktail. For round two, the Bee's Sneeze is another solid choice. I paired my drinks with the lobster roll, which was the standout food item of my visit. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly toasted. While the lobster salad wasn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid bite for a dive-lounge-style bar. I'd skip the chips it comes with, but the fries are absolutely worth ordering. One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. The staff was welcoming. If you're looking to trade wine tasting for a cocktail side quest, The Fink is definitely worth a visit.

There's limited parking in the area, but it can be tight. We had a reservation for a late afternoon and the restaurant was getting pretty busy. I would definitely recommend reservations during peak times dinner hours. We were pleasantly greeted and had an opportunity to walk through a very cool bar area. The restaurants surrounds a courtyard, which would be lovely in warmer weather. Just beyond the courtyard you can see from just about every area of the restaurant right into the kitchen, which is always fun. Without any surprise, there's an extensive wine list available as well as a fantastic list of mixed drinks and mocktails. Every dish was amazingly flavorful with attention to every detail. As visually beautiful as all the dishes tasted. Everything was made with quality ingredients and flawlessly executed. I'm not sure I have enough adjectives to describe how wonderful a dining experience this can be. Highly recommend that you find your way to this tucked away gem.

The hotel itself looked stylish and inviting, and the rooftop seemed like a great spot to relax with a cocktail while enjoying the views. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the setting. While I was seated quickly, everything after that was slow. I ordered a passionfruit cheesecake, which arrived without utensils or a napkin, and getting a server's attention afterward was nearly impossible. I even noticed a nearby couple struggling to get service as well. The dessert was fine, but not enough to make up for the experience. I eventually walked up to the bar to pay and left after only a few bites. It's a beautiful space with incredible potential, but the service falls short of what such a prime location deserves.

Nice touches adorn the restaurant throughout. The menu has a lot of wonderful options. The service, provided by Alex, was excellent. We started with the Dungeness Crab arancini, which are probably the best thing we ate all evening, and that's saying a lot because everything we had was great. These arancini are perfectly fried crab meat rolled into a ball served over a delicious tartar sauce. I wish I had 3 orders of this, at least. We ordered the soup of the day and their bread service. The soup was a white bean and sausage and it was perfectly salty and fatty. The bread and butter was a perfect accompaniment. The Carpe Diem salad was also really special. It had these Cabernet soaked dried cranberries that were so good and tart. For an entree, we ordered the short ribs which come over a risotto. It felt a little heavy, and maybe the sauce could've used a little acid to cut the heaviness. It was still really delicious though. For dessert, we had the espresso crème brûlée. This was just the icing on the cake of a great meal. I love Carpe Diem and hope to come back soon!

From the outside it doesn't look like a garden or even a beer garden but this place is a full on sports bar. The US mens national team was playing at noon for the world cup but we showed up at 10:30 am. The owner told us he was stressed because the whole place was reserved and packed for the game which wasn't very welcoming. The servers looked extremely busy so we kept having to ask whoever ran by for something we needed. The food, thankfully , was spectacular. I had the biscuit breakfast sandwich no cheese with sausage and I wish I could have fit another in my stomach. The biscuit was huge and flaky and tender and the eggs were fluffy. I shared it with my kid with a side of tots and it was scrumptious. I asked for the aioli on the side but it was lemony with a spicy kick. I hadn't had something like that but it was a nice fresh creamy taste with the tots and sandwich.

It was pretty empty on a Saturday morning around 11:30am, which might be because of the location (kind of at the far end of downtown, and we had to find street parking 2 blocks away). We opted for a flight, which was 5 of the Tannery beers on draft, for $16 - a great deal in my opinion. My friend expressed interest in one of the sours that wasn't on the menu for the flight, and they were kind enough to give us an extra taste of that one without us even asking! They had food offerings, but we were still full from brunch, so didn't get to try them out. Overall, cute place that would be a great option to hang out over beers and some food - looks like they do some really cool events too.
