    French onion soup

Stayed at the Hotel across street. French restaurant that had a nice calm vibe with candles. Onion soup delicious. Fries with parmigiana excellent. Wait staff very attentive. Small menu, but food was quality and delicious.

No mains after an hour and a half. I don't complain frequently but I didn't understand why we weren't able to get eod te ordering a few bottles of wine. We officially got it at an hour and 40min mark. They have an extremely limited mains choice total and all 5 of us chose the same main, and we're not too picky about our meal (medium/mediums rare). This is unexpected for a restaurant of this caliber... The servers are nice, but the level of service is extremely poor for what you're paying. Update - an hour and 41 min later, we got the steak frites. It's not bad. Good luck. I would be go back if I didn't have pallets and needed a steak. Most of us did not finish our dinner.

I feel like our group tried a little bit of everything and all I have to say is WOW!!! Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The staff were so friendly and the food delicious!! My favorite appetizers were the beef tartar and deviled eggs. My favorite main dishes were the salmon and the Beef Bourguignon. Though we also tried the chicken, Gnocchi, Pommes Purée, Glazed Mushrooms, Steak Frites, French Onion Soup, Lyonnaise Salad, Cheese & Charcuterie, & Pain au Levain ( OMG the butter, directly from France!!!!) I highly recommend d this place. When you go... order a few things and share them family style. You won't regret it!!

Napa Yard at Oxbow Gardens has become one of those spots we fall back on again and again, and…read moresomehow it never loses its charm. It has that open, relaxed energy where you can just show up, grab a drink, and settle in without overthinking anything. Being outside, surrounded by greenery, it feels like a little escape even though it is right in the middle of Napa. We have been there enough times that it feels familiar in the best way. Good drinks, easy food, and plenty of space to just hang out. Sometimes it is a casual afternoon that turns into sunset without realizing it. Other times it is just a quick stop that somehow still resets the whole day. There is something about the atmosphere that makes everything feel lighter. What keeps us coming back is how effortless it all is. No pressure, no pretense, just a consistently good place to spend time. It is the kind of spot you recommend to people and also quietly hope does not get too crowded, because it feels like yours.

They are not very loaded. Toppings were sparse, and there are still no entrees that are vegetarian - only starters. So they brought out the nachos and then after 40 minutes, I was still waiting for my El Pastor tacos, and I had to get up from the table and find somebody that worked there and tell them this and they did bring them out about five minutes later saying that they had been delivered to the wrong table. Somewhere along the way they had brought out Carne Asada tacos, but since that is not what I ordered, I did not accept them. I did not know it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before they'd bring out the correct tacos. They have a drink called the orange crush, which is supposed to be over crushed ice, but twice we have been there and their crushed ice machine was not working but they allowed us to order that cocktail anyway and just brought it out over regular ice. My tacos, once I got them, were pretty good but the chips and salsa that came with them were just chip crumbs and a little thing of mediocre salsa. Having learned not to order the orange crush, the cocktails we ordered on this visit were pretty good. For dessert, check out Kolohe creamery.

I had never experienced oysters quite like these, and they were absolutely delicious. Such a memorable part of the meal! Our server was wonderful, and the service overall was excellent. My husband ordered the cioppino, which he has had many times and usually loves. Unfortunately, the spice level was extremely intense and was more than he could tolerate, which was disappointing. I had the lobster bisque, which was delicious, along with a burrata salad that, while fresh and enjoyable, felt like it could have used a little more flavor. Overall, we enjoyed our evening and would definitely eat here again. We'd just try some different dishes next time, and I would absolutely order those Miyagi oysters again! The ambiance was nice. It was a seafood restaurant without too many grills. I wish they had tablecloths. A high end restaurant without table cloths really loses its luster.

Steak frites: steak was meh but perfect medium rare. Fries were deliciously crispy for steak fries 2. Fried chicken sandwhich: very mid 3. Chicken wings: I did dry rub with the sauces on the side. I liked the ranch with the umami, but im not a fan of the smoked chicken. 4. Burrata: mid 5. Poke tostadas: best thing I've had on their menu and they don't have it anymore. I wanted to cry when they told me 6. Salted caramel pudding with shortbread pieces and macadamia nuts, hold the nuts: absolutely delicious dessert, very sweet! 7. Smash burger: pretty good. I'd get two patties next time Drinks 1. Float the River: hold the grapefruit. It was boozy s as heck 2. Dirty Shirley: decent 3. Cucumber drink: This was an off menu drink they used to make for me and then stopped making it. Maybe they ran out of cucumber? Idk. But bring them back! Wow I really been coming here for a minute. Love the vibes. Great spot to watch the World Cup games. They welcome dogs. Sometimes they bring my pup treats, sometimes not. I appreciate when they do.
