What a cool spot! Delicious food, healthy options, warm and friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. This place has everything that you'd want from a local eatery. Friendly smiles greet you when you walk in and the layout is spacious enough for a quiet meal by yourself or with friends without feeling crowded. The soup was delicious (hearty with so much flavor) as was the green smoothie. Kombucha on tap, green juices and smoothies, ITAL soup, free WiFi, and friendly atmosphere are just a few of the reasons I love this place. It was my 1st visit and it was awesome! The owner's mother greeted us as soon as we walked in. She was so patient as she explained the menu and the local favorites. She also provided samples of the Kombucha and ITAL soup. The ambience is very relaxing with two bars, a large table, and several smaller tables. There are ample outlets and toys for little ones. The music is perfect for the atmosphere and sets you back to the 70s/early 80s. A lot of head bobbing and brainstorming was done on the 1st visit. This is place deserves a true 5 stars. One beautiful day I was shopping at Glut and asked the cashier what she was drinking. Well it's been on since then. The Green Goochi is out of this world. My granddaughter loves the Berry smoothie. Great addition to the Area! I spotted this location while leaving the co-op across the street and I had to check it out. Came in and was immediately greeted by the owner and her lovely mom! I had a ginger prominent drink and it was really good. I have visited a few times since and I have always experienced a very warm and friendly environment. I also studied here during finals and they have free wifi service as well as limited parking in the rear. I've been twice. The first time I got an Irie Thunder which I loved. The second time, a strawberry banana smoothie. The juice was much more enjoyable. Kudos to the young woman for opening this business. My first visit, I spoke with her mom who told me a little bit about the business. The second time I came in, I met the owner herself. Both are very sweet! The waterhole is my spot when I don't feel like juicing at home. Most of us know how much of a pain it is to clean those things. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. My co-worker had me try it one day and I've been there weekly ever since- sometimes multiple times in the week. Great juices. I've been back to The Waterhole many times since I first reviewed it, and I can vouch for their amazing smoothies and juices. Delicious! Tip: the juices with ginger have a sharp, strong gingery taste. I love it, but I know it can be too harsh for some palates. I think it's great because you know they're using a lot of ginger, which has endless health (and tasty) benefits. I've also had the coffee, and they recently started selling raw food in a case by the bar. I plan to try some soon! So glad this place opened in the neighborhood! read more

The Juice here has healing powers. I came into the waterhole a couple weeks back with a really icky cold. The Barista recommended the Carrot Kicker and it was perfect. It had orange, ginger, carrots, lemon, and cayanne pepper. I liked that they let you add the Cayenne on your own so you get the right amount of spice. I enjoyed my juice, went home, and took a nap. When I woke up my nose was significantly less stuffy and I felt a lot better. I would come back anytime I'm in the area to try another blend. read more

I absolutely love this place. I come here on Saturdays and Sundays, yes both days, for juices and coffee. I've tried their leaf lover, carrot and beet juices. I can't remember the names of the carrot or beet based juices. Everything is fresh made to order and taste delicious. Personally, I prefer my juices really cold. If they are pre made then they can be refrigerated but if they are freshly made I like them over ice. Initially they weren't able to accommodate my request to have my juice over ice but after speaking with the owner I was able to get a cup of ice on the side which worked just fine. To be fair, I understand they do not want to dilute their product with ice that melts into water but a customer should have an option if requested, which the owner was able to make happen. One thing, I hope they find some consistency in their latte making. Each time the strength is different. It's either perfect or needs more of something. But either way I'll be back. read more

As an Uber driver, sometimes you need a pick me up. I was feeling really acidic, so I knew I wanted something more cooling than coffee. Checked our Yelp, and The Waterhole came up. Well this was better than any watering hole I've ever been to, that's for sure. The owner was so calm and sweet, suggested adding pineapple into my Three Kings, and I added moringa and maca.
