    Chicken Fajita Bowl ($21)
    Ameya B.

Had made reservations for a Saturday brunch, which we'd highly recommend as this place tends to get busy. The ambiance and restaurant setup is fresh! Bright colors, welcoming, and very cozy. Having said that, we did get a broken chair on our table which was promptly replaced! We ordered a bottle of wine for the table, and got Za'atar roasted sweet potato ($8) and Sautéed baby spinach, garlic confit ($8) as our sides/appetizers. Both were quite disappointing lacking any powerful flavors. For mains, we got the Chicken Fajita bowl ($21), Cauliflower Fried Rice ($20), and Tree Hugger Sandwich ($17) - all of which definitely looked and tasted healthy, albeit lacked flavors again. Flavor-wise, the food is definitely on the milder side - something that we don't enjoy at all. Service was excellent, attentive staff, and food arrives within 25-minutes of ordering. Noise level was average to low.

A great post workout healthy brunch spot! My friend and I split the tacos and pancakes and everything tasted really fresh and clean. Pancakes were especially filling, we couldn't even finish! They have a simple coffee menu but the lattes (both hot and iced) were pretty good too and came in the cutest mugs. We would definitely go back!

Cauliflower Fried Rice was really good , add a fried egg !

Simple/healthy menu side. Cauliflower Fried Rice was light yet flavorful! Menu is slightly on the unadventurous side but the food is actually not!

Went to the lunar gong, sound bath experience on a Friday evening, and it was incredible. It was my first time doing some thing like that, and the instructor was amazing. The space was incredibly clean and she walked us through everything and was very helpful.

Came here for a lunch on a Saturday via a reservation on Seated. The store and spa is beautiful; everything is very soothing and well decorated. I ordered a breakfast bowl, with came with avocado, sweet potato, poached eggs and spinach. It was good, filling and very healthy! I liked the salsa that it came with. My friend ordered the herbed chicken sandwich and that also looked delicious, the waiter said it was their most popular menu item. I think this place is great if you're looking for a quick and healthy bite to eat

Definitely the most clean (food) and delicious meal I've had when visiting the City. The environment was peaceful and relaxing, too. We could have stayed all day and with advance planning we will be back for more than a meal. They have a full spa and a well annotated retail section. While visiting the city over the weekend we made the decision to have brunch before taking on two tourist sites. We were seeking a meal that offered vegan and non-vegan options and would keep us full enough to skip lunch, we found that at The Well. The food was freshly prepared. Interesting combinations and the staff provided us guidance as we made our selections. We were pleased with the portion sizes and the quality of the ingredients. I had the vegan nine goddess curry which was beautifully made and tasted even better. Another diner had the breakfast bowl which contained sautéed spinach, roasted sweet potatoes and eggs. It was so filling she didn't finish it. My boyfriend had the morning scrambled which was served with dressed greens. Again a tasty and filing meal. The Well is now on our list of spots to eat healthy, enjoy the beautiful and spacious space, not feel rush or overwhelmed and provide us with a great start to our day. Loved the entire concept! What a win for NYC and for us! I can't say enough positive about this hidden gem and would give it more stars if possible

Vegetable Tree Hugger Sandwich on sourdough

The Well has a great aesthetic, with a bright, cute, and relaxing feel. I came for Saturday brunch. The food was clean, healthy, and just filling enough. It's on the pricier side but it isn't too unreasonable. I really enjoyed the Tree Hugger sandwich on sourdough, which is a vegan sandwich with your choice of bread. It has avocado, cucumber, radish, carrots, sprouts, tomato relish, and hummus. I sometimes worry that vegan sandwiches with just veggies will be boring, but this one was flavorful and came with a side of salad greens too. I think the tomato relish added a lot of flavorful and complimented the other vegetables well. I definitely felt nourished after this meal and would probably order the same thing if I came again! I will say the service was slow and inattentive, as other reviews have mentioned.

Whew where to start... suuuper slow service. After you get your food good luck seeing your waitress ever again. I had to walk to the front just to pay since no one ever came with my check. They also forgot to give me the latte I ordered & only had one of the 3 "wellness shots" available. To eat I got the cauliflower fried rice and while the concept was creative, it was way too salty. I'm giving them the 2 stars for ambiance (very cute and attached to the well spa which was convenient for me) & the food options were mostly healthy.

I came here after seeing a girl on Tik Tok promote this place as a coffee shop. It seemed like they had lots of great workspace. But when I arrived they said that on Wednesday of this week the establishment shifted toward restaurant vibes focusing on making this a "space to unplug, unwind, relax and enjoy the moment with the company you're with" .. however I was here with a laptop and ready to work. They no longer allow laptops except for in their back library space which you need a premium membership to enter. I decided to dine anyway and grab a quick bite and some tea. The tea took 25 minutes to come to the table and as I retire this review I still have yet to receive my soup. The ambiance is great, service is painfully slow, wait staff is friendly and accommodating, food and drinks are decent.

I came here for Sunday brunch, as my friend was looking for a cleaner and healthy meal. This place looks new, and I was surprised that there is a beauty counter in the front. (Didn't know much about THE WELL before this visit). I was nervous that this place was more about aesthetics than substance, but luckily, the food was delicious, filling, and reasonably priced! These qualities are hard to come by with healthy meals in NYC! I ordered the Southwest Chicken Bowl, and loved the texture of my quinoa. It had a slight crisp to it, and the dressing came with a little bit of a spicy kick. I also got to explore the other parts of this place (apparently there are wellness rooms and a library inside?!), and it was all in all a fun adventure!

This place is absolutely dank. It even smells dank. Have you watched the Goop docuseries? Are you curious? Go here. The ambiance is delightful, but so is the food and the service (a taaad relaxed if you're going somewhere). You probably can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I had the Well Bowl with the egg, which was a lot of greens and exactly what I wanted.

We weren't expecting much when we walked in, as you enter directly into a spa store setting, with the entrance to the cafe to the right. But we were pleasantly surprised at how great this place is! The servers were very good, and helpful with menu questions, and all of our food was tasty. The roasted veggie frittata was a hit, especially when paired with the side of steak. The breakfast bowls with sous vide eggs had plenty of food and were excellent. Prices are comparable to the area, and the setting is very cool and relaxing.

Located right next to Union square we stumbled on it while walking around. On first glance you aren't sure if you are in a restaurant or a make up store. The menu has some interesting items. The quinoa burger was one of the most bland meals I have had in a long time. Probably top 3. They have oven roasted sweet potato's which were ehh. The veggie chips were terrible. The meal was very underwhelming. Credit to them for keeping the place clean. Very bright in here too so that is encouraging. I feel like they are trying too hard to make the food unique and it falls flat.

To the far bottom is The Well bowl with chickpea, asparagus, mushrooms, and bone broth.

The dining room was extremely hot, and there didn't appear to be any air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable throughout the meal. The food also took quite a while to arrive. I ordered a tequila mule, but it was lacking flavor and was underwhelming. For my entrée, I ordered the steak medium well, but it came out medium rare. Despite being undercooked, the steak was surprisingly tough and chewy, and it did not seem like a quality cut of meat considering the price. The waiter was friendly and provided good service, which was the highlight of the visit. However, due to the uncomfortable atmosphere, slow food service, disappointing drink, and poor-quality steak, I would not recommend dining here.

My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
