I loved this place! The food was unique & yummy, cocktails were creative & so delicious. The seating was ideal. It was large & roomy. Right downtown. I recommend this place! Such great energy & staff!

Another reviewer said this place had a sophisticated and chill vibe. I agree. Great ambiance. For that I give this place 3 stars. Everything else was a big disappointment. We arrived at 4:45pm on a Friday. It was not busy. We sat at the bar where there were fewer customers. The bartender ignored us (not even an acknowledgment like "be right with you") for at least 5 minutes. In reading past reviews, being ignored at the bar appears to be a pattern. This is unacceptable service. I got a gin and tonic which is hard to mess up. My friend asked whether a red sangria was available. The bartender said "no" but she could make it. The bar did not have a Cabernet or a Blend. The wine used was not appropriate for sangria. The bartender should have simply said that sangria was not available rather than serve something that was so not sangria. My friend ordered the wagyu beef burger that she said was very good. It was 2 4-oz patties served with shoestring fries. I ordered the shrimp cakes. There were 3 cakes of a decent size. But the sauce drizzled on them tasted sweet and like bq sauce. It over powered the taste of the cakes. In addition, the cakes had a strange gelatinous consistency that I did not expect and did not care for. The cakes were served with a small portion of greens. The menu is limited but we were told it is changed regularly. I really liked the vibe and atmosphere and may return if and when new items appear on the menu. Hopefully, bar service will improve.

Obsessed and wish it was in St. Louis. Drew is a lovely bartender. The vibe is absolutely stunning, even the bathrooms are fun! Tropical and classy, but doesn't take itself too seriously. Lots of different places to sit and feel cozy. I love a kitschy take on a cocktail so the "It's Got the Juice" with corn liqueur was a fun (and tasty) drink. Cocktails are reminiscent of tiki drinks without leaning in too hard. No food but taco food truck often available. Looking forward to returning.

Very cute spot for drinks with friends. Good location. Lots of parking options nearby. Very modern, Instagram-worthy atmosphere inside. Amazing drink selection. Prices are not cheap but you get what you pay for. The service was slow for a slow day but no serious complaints. Cute spot, would recommend and return.

We live locally and absolutely just love visiting The Well. When you're looking for an amazing atmospheric bar with a great location, look no further. Try mixology with a tiki beach vibe. Ask for Bobby or Drew!

Disclaimer: I didn't eat here, so the five stars are not reflective of the kitchen. On the menu are Oysters, Spanish Almonds & Olives, Royal Red Ceviche, Smoked Local Fish Dip, & Spicy Tuna Tostones. While I was here, I saw no one eating. However, I saw people (ranging in age from their mid 20's to late 50's) enjoying time w/ friends & dates. (The average patron age appeared to be around 30.) It was truly a great mix of people from all walks of life. This is not a dive bar nor is it boujee. It's A PERFECT SPOT TO GATHER. And this review is for the physical aestetics, atmosphere, drinks, service, & music. It's truly A GREAT PLACE TO UNWIND. These are my companions first impressions (compressed into one liners): "The Well is like sliding into your favorite pair of leggings"; "It was an effortless bar experience"; & "When I left, I knew I needed to tell everyone about this place." Simply stated, this May 2021 bar welcomed us. The old, red brick & warm browns drew me in while the atmosphere, design, & comfort kept us here-- & happy. SEE PICS. This bar's STRENGTH is that it APPEALS TO ALL FIVE SENSES: SIGHT: This bar is visually appealing w/ its accent colors of green & pink. The large, round, textured pink globe light fixtures are set against the warm browns of the bar. These subtle tones help create a peaceful, relaxing mood. By utilizing excellent lighting & eclectic furniture styles, as well as creatively dividing the main room, an overall mood of tranquility blooms. The bar is separated into sections: 7 elevated, small round tables w/ chairs, 20 bar stools, & 6 mini living rooms w/ couches, high back chairs, coffee tables, & end tables (see pic). The bonus is that not one of the six comfort areas duplicate; the furniture colors & styles are unique. It's mix & match Heaven! SOUND: At 7 PM on weekends, patrons are treated to live music-- live GOOD music. The sole guitarist was talented; he played well, sang w/ a soothing voice, & he selected music that added to the wonderful mood of this rather new establishment. But what was perhaps more auditorily impressive was the chatter and laughter arising from those who came to relax & enjoy spirits. What a great crowd! SMELL: Patrons will relax in a clean interior surrounded by eclectic clientele. Tables were cleared & cleaned almost the moment a guest exited. TOUCH: The many different furniture styles, along w/ the wall & ceiling decor, boosts the warm atmosphere. There are linens, woods, metals, glass, brass, stone, etc. From the stuffed couches to straight back chairs & stools, the owners of The Well have everyone covered in the areas of comfort & design. (Unlike many bars, the furniture IS comfortable.) TASTE: Although we did not order any of the five menu offerings (aka appetizers), we definitely sampled the alcohol. The drink menu includes 10 Signature Cocktails, 8 Wines, 5 Draught Beers, & 9 Spirits. This establishment makes its own Bloody Mary mix. Drinks were served by friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive staff. Wait time for drinks was reasonable. Beverages were very good & they were standardly priced. (Check out the pics of the drink menu for Sunday specials.) There's A GENUINELY GOOD FLOW to The Well. Every aspect joins together to create a welcoming & tranquil mood. The end product is A QUALITY BAR. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? DOORS ARE OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK-- every day but Monday. Stop in for the aestetics, mood, drinks, appetizers, service, cleanliness, music, & patrons. This is AN EXCELLENT BAR & A GREAT ADDITION to downtown Pensacola. I'm sure to return the next time I visit Pensacola...

Date night ? Drinks with a client ? Girls night out ? This is your spot ! Trendy decor makes you feel like you're in an upscale tiki soiree. Creative drinks have fun names (Scuba Steve), original ingredients (house made strawberry shrub soda), and clever contrasts (apricot liqueur). Prices reflect that (11-13 per cocktail). I was happy to see a wide range of ages here (didn't feel like I was too old / young etc). You're within walking distance of downtown, a prime spot to start or end your evening PS. I know you'll make your own choice but the Spicy Thyme is the *best* drank on the menu. I said it !!!!

The vibe is very inviting. The bar has an atmosphere that creates a relaxing, yet exciting mood. There's someone that brings you to a table and you get table service. The drinks taste great and they have a pretty decent selection but only slightly above average in taste and quality given their price. Did not try their food. However, you'd be lucky to get a drink in the first place as the service is pretty slow--waiting upwards of 30min for someone to come by and ask if we wanted another drink. And you cannot order directly at the bar even if you've been waiting for a long time. This may have been a one-time thing but disappointing nonetheless.

Great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. My favorite is the scuba steve. Bring a bunch of friends and sit in the large lounging areas like you're in your home living room. Great place to start, end or spend your entire evening.
