    Vegan poke bowl
    Maria W.

I'm rarely on this side of town, but when I am I love hiking at the Burroughs Park. I met my hiking group here to enjoy lunch. This restaurant is one of those where you scan the menu via a QR code. There wasn't a lot of vegan options to choose from, however, a lot of salads could be made vegan. I ordered the poke bowl. Cold water was served on the table in mason jars. When the food came out, I was excited! I wasn't expecting the portion size to be plenty. This was the most flavorful poke bowl I have ever tasted. The mango dressing made it tropical. Butternut squash, edamame, purple cabbage, carrots, and avocado was fresh. I was going to get the Wheel Buddha bowl, but I wanted something without less grains. Very tasty. Sitting outside was very noisy. The outside area is large enough to take pictures, host a big group, and dance. My group did the monster mash dance in our Halloween costumes. Ha!

Great place to have a late lunch by yourself on a beautiful day. The food is fresh, high quality and prepared well. The patio is just on a beautiful sunny day. The coffee and all of the fruit drinks are also very good. The service is prompt and friendly. It's really hard to go wrong here.

The shrimp platter had a creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. We liked that it came in a hot kitchen dish. We also enjoyed the fantastic desserts. Creme brulee was divine! Service was professional timely and very personable with excellent suggestions and attention to detail. We enjoyed the elegant farmhouse like atmosphere. Although it is possible to eat outside as well as inside we preferred the air conditioning so inside was a perfect.

Love this place so quaint, beautiful area food was amazing. Service was great. Even though they had a pretty much full house, we didn't have to wait for a table.. they have all this different kinds of coffees. I had the lavender Brulé, but I also tasted the pistachio one.

I just loved dinning on the patio here. This is a great outdoor area to dine at and bring your family. I really enjoyed how down to earth it was with all the families and kids running around. I came with my best friend, her husband and son, what a great place for Brunch on Sunday. We did get there right when they opened and they got super busy quickly right afterwards, it seems everyone had the same idea. All the food we ate was arrived with perfect temperatures, textures, and flavors! I had the Eggs and Focaccia and I was unaware there was a salas on the dish, the chipotle coulee is utterly delicious! It's a little spicy but bold in favlor from first taste to the end. Such a wonderful balance of savory and space, a must have for sure. The lattes were also delicious and they had so many different in house syrups on the menu. Such great options. I feel family friendly places are such a treasure and I am so happy this place not only allows that freedom, but the food is made with passion and dedication. You can tell the people here know what they are doing.

Even though I don't live close by, The Wheel Kitchen is absolutely worth the drive! Every single dish tastes like it was made with love and local goodness. There is a huge yard with soccer balls and toys for kids to run and play. You can feel the love that goes into their ingredients -- everything is so fresh and flavorful. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and down-to-earth, and it just has that special small-town charm that's hard to find anywhere else. If you're looking for a place that serves food with heart and soul, this is it. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or one of their dinners, The Wheel Kitchen never disappoints. I only wish I lived closer so I could come every week!

Wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather with some food and this was the first place that came to mind. The server was very sweet and knowledgeable of the items, forgive for forgetting her name... I started off the street corn skillet and burrata salmon as my appetizer. I was extremely impressed with the freshness and combination of ingredients in that dish, it is definitely a must try! The street corn however was good, but it was overly Creamy in my opinion. If the dish came with more bread sticks or something of that sort to finish the dish off it would've been ok. But for the 2 stick of bread on there just isn't going to cut it for that amount of cream. The main course consisted of the lamb stew which was the best things I've had there and I will definitely order that again! Extremely tender and flavoring. The Wheel Poke was a treat to have between dishes with its combination of sweet from the mango and watermelon to kill my salt taste. Definitely a must try! The only dish that lacked soooooo much of flavor was the Zoodles dinner. There was a lot of freshness in the dish but no flavor, you would think with so many tasty ingredients in that dish it would be amazing but it was flavorless. So that one could use a little more work gang. But overall it's definitely a must try!!!! HAPPY YELPING

Amazing art out in the parking area.

First a little context. Its black friday and I was in search of bulletproof coffee (not as easy to find as you might think). The bulletproof coffee is amazing by the way! This was my third place from my search on yelp. Definitely take a look at the directions as its easy to pass by. If you are a big party I would recommend fewer vehicles or coming earlier based on the parking space. This place is a hidden gem in every sense of the word. When I got there the staff was super friendly and helped me. They were attentive while getting my coffee and it was not easy to NOT order food - it smelled so GOOOOD inside and I had a big breakfast. That picture where you see everyone around the table out in the country with what looks like amazing food with smiles on everyone's place - that's this place. Its a great atmosphere for connecting with friends, family and/or loved ones. I highly recommend coming out here for breakfast or brunch!

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised, food was very tasty had several options all healthy and yummy. I went with a group of ladies we tried a few dishes. The service was great and we enjoyed the scenery very much hence the video and pictures. We are planning a trip back with a group of friends because the place can accommodate groups nicely. Fave for today Bruno's breakfast Sausage patties with eggs black beans and plantain And their coffee wow , just right

Charming, rustic, wonderfully helpful waitress. We love farm-to-table and organic food and were excited to try it. We started with the tomato bisque soup and we both liked it, as we did the homemade focaccia with marmalade and butter that we ordered on the side. Mr. Picky was "testing" the marmalade with a spoon so there wasn't that much left for me :-). The Bruno breakfast was tasty and, yes, after I ordered a side of butter and marmalade, Mr. Picky again took a spoon to it and decimated my small amount so there wasn't much left for me to spread. He also enjoyed taking most of my sweet plantains which are a favorite of mine (and his). Mr. Picky ordered the spaghetti squash lunch they had added to the menu now that the season had started; it was tasty and I liked the pepperanata and mushrooms with goat cheese, but he wasn't a huge fan. I couldn't see the extra cheese we requested, and more of the mixture was needed on the spaghetti squash proportionately. But it was tasty. We had dessert and were happy with our choices. Overall, it's important to support farm to table and they care about feeding people healthy food.

Quality ingredients! Service was good around lunch time. I do wish I had tried something from the bakery. This is a family run business and I love to see that. I'd like to return for dinner and sit on the patio.

The walk up and rustic feel is amazing and yall know I love a good content spot. I'm actually typing this while watching the waitress chat with all the tables but mine. She picked up my plate 10 minutes ago and has never come back. It's not packed just 4 tables including mine. Event the lady with the black hair in a bun had checked on tables except mine. The food was meh. The avacado toast was questionable. The toast was soggy and I am a Avacado toast girl. It is now 10:22 and still nothing. 20 minutes since my plates were taken. And what's crazy is this has been my first bad experience in Tomball. I'm definitely going to have to talk to my friend Nick about these recommendations. Now it's just three tables and I've been finished since 9:50. And nobody has said a single word. This experience was heartbreaking especially since I read the reviews. Now it's 10:26. Maybe someone paid my tab... .... Of course not. New people are walking in picking up orders and I am still just sitting here. Sad thing is I bring live music, events, and I own a horse ranch and mobile petting zoo... had big hopes but this is why you check the scene before you introduce yourself. Here I am 40 minutes later empty table, no interaction, and I'm almost out of water. Oh and that's my waitress chilling in the background. At 10:32 the lady with the bun asked me if I needed something. My waitress walks up unprepared tells me she didn't hear me (I didn't say anything) she said she thought I was working when she told me they didn't have public WiFi. But here I am 10:34 walking out and I am not going to recommend and she tried to give me a blueberry muffin on my way out because she realized I was upset. I left it there. I am the coolest customer/critic ever. Guess my little content reel won't make it past this post. Two stars for the ambiance

My husband and I came here for dinner. It has a lovely outside seating area and a cozy inside. Everyone was very nice, and our food was delicious! It all tasted very fresh and flavorful. We saw while we were there they do breakfast. We will definitely be back to try it out.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

I might have just found one of my new favorite restaurants in Houston. What a great experience!…read more Recently, a good friend dined here and immediately called me to tell me how great it was. She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. I will be back.

Nonno's Pasta - this dish was my least favorite. I found the flavors to be too cheese forward with not enough acid; Jamon With Your Bad Self - while not much to look at, this dish was outstanding. The pork's texture was simply magical, and the flavors well-balanced. On the side, we had the Fingerlingin Good potatoes, and they lived up to their name: pleasantly crispy and bursting with savory goodness. Desserts: the Olive Oil Cake was a dream: incredibly moist and tender with vanilla richness and a kiss of lemon. The Black Bottom Pie was not my favorite. I would the salt to be too much and couldn't eat more than 2 bites because of it. Service: warm, gracious, attentive, and efficient. As for ambiance, this is where the restaurant misses the mark for me. It's in an old house, and when we walked in, that's exactly what I smelled: old house. Still, if you're looking for a unique, creative menu that delivers on flavors, add nobie's to your bingo card.
