I'm so happy we found this gem! I brought my daughter for the Afternoon Tea service on a Sunday. The space is so cute! Great concept, well executed and decorated with the best vibes! Plus the food and drink was fabulous! One of the best tea services I've had! The bartender/server was so kind and welcoming letting us know we could be inside or out on the roof when we came in. The roof area was super cute but it was a little warm so we settled on one of the cozy velvet couches. We ordered a little too much but so excited to try it all we started with the charcuterie board. It comes on a cute snail shaped board. Especially loved the honey walnuts and cheese. The tea service comes with tea, mimosa, tea sandwiches, scones, desserts and fruits. You can tell the cucumber and chicken salad sandwiches were made to order. The cucumber is fresh, the right amount of herbs and seasoning! The chicken salad was also amazing! Zingy from what i think was Dijon and both were so moist and delicious! Scones were perfect! The mimosas were yummy and so was the tea. We ordered the oolong and Jasmine tea that came with ginger and butterfly pea syrups! What a whimsical touch that made it all perfect.

This is a fun, themed bar in Long Beach! Prepare to park on the street but there were plenty of spaces when we went. The staff is friendly and the place has lots of fun backdrops for photos. They have an extensive drink menu full of themed cocktails. I got the Defying Gravity. Defying Gravity- This has a pear vodka base with pear liqueur, pear syrup, and foam. Moderate sweetness and definitely fruity and refreshing. Great experience overall!

First time here. Love the vibe. Dark but lit enough! They have a quiet upstairs (outdoor). Kris gave two great drink recommendations the midnight trix and solstice sorbet; both are bomb. Hubby got into the woods (kinda like a smoked Old fashioned) also good... Isaak was an awesome bartender! Like I said first time here but definitely not our last! Will be coming more often!

Locally owned small cocktail bar that does afternoon tea. Came to celebrate a birthday and the inside is adorable. Dark Alice in wonderland vibe with a lot of potential for a great party location. Highlights were the tea selection and the scones and sandwiches were huge portions. There were many people that day and service was a bit delayed. Tea took over an hour to get but we had passion fruit mimosas quickly. I would suggestion a smaller group for a better experience. I can see the owner puts a lot of passion and love into this place and it's a great local spot to come out and support.

Had a wonderful time in this quaint mystical lounge. Ambiance and decor were fantasy driven, so we're the drinks. Very creative beverage menu with combinations that I've never heard of that tasted amazing. I loved the True Loves Kiss. Moscow mules and old fashions everyday for only $10!. There is an outdoor rooftop area as well. The charcuterie was tasty and well worth $12. Service was pleasant. Definitely will go again.

This is not our "usual" place, but we went on a whim on a Friday night. The decor was so fun and we easily found a little couch to sit on to enjoy some drinks and live music. The drink menu is definitely inspired, and we had fun trying some unusual combinations. Check it out if you are looking for something different!

Such a great spot! A bit dark, funky, and fun! Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail or a tasty concoction, this place is the place to be. The Wicked Wolf has curated music events, food popups, and hobby nights for all to enjoy. I personally love coming for the boardgames and mahjong nights. Five stars for Ishmael! My book club meets at the Wicked Wolf and it was my first time visiting the establishment. I've been wanting to visit for the longest time because of all their cool events and just the overall buzz I've been hearing about it. I entered the place on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by Ishmael behind the counter who was busy greeting patrons, mixing drinks, and taking orders. The interior was decorated for Halloween and I love the art of the wolf at the bar. There's indoor and outdoor seating on the top and bottom floor. I ordered a passion fruit matcha and a couple of other members of my book club ordered some drinks and we were informed that our drinks will be brought upstairs for us. During that time, Ishmael was helping another party who were sampling teas and he was also trying to help other patrons that entered so he was super busy but was still killing it. Throughout our hour and a half meeting, Ishmael and another staff member came to check on us and brought us our food and drink orders and even took our book club meeting photo for us. He and his coworker, whose name we didn't get, are an absolute treasures and made us all feel so welcome and comfortable. Ismael is quite possibly one of the most easy going and kindest people! I can't wait for our next meeting to try out more of the menu.

Wicked Wolf is an eclectic fun Long Beach Bar. Decor is awesome and drinks are delicious. Our bartender was fun and we had a good time. After our visit I checked their website and it seems like they have several events going on, including a small room upstairs for trivia and other event events. Okay this place is actually a whole experience. I came here for this super cute book bedazzling event my book club was hosting, and I was immediately obsessed. The inside?? Literally feels like you stepped into a fairytale cottage in the woods. Every little detail even the bathroom is on theme. It's giving cozy, magical, slightly unhinged woodland vibes in the best way. I lowkey wish I came on a weekend because apparently they have a tea party menu, which just feels very on brand for the whole vibe. The bartenders were also amazing super sweet, on it, and actually gave solid recommendations instead of just staring at you while you panic order. Overall, such a fun, unique spot. I'd 100% come back, especially to experience the tea party moment.

We arrived around 8ish on a Sunday night after having dinner and fortunately the bar was quite empty except for a few other patrons. The interior decor was cute and for some reason gave me forest fairy vibes. The drinks were elegant and the bartender was sweet enough to even give me a birthday shot. After much anticipation, I'm glad I finally had the chance to check out The Wicked Wolf and I'd definitely stop by again for a night out in the city. Totally recommend to anyone at least for a one & done experience!

I came here once before but didn't have a chance to get photos or write a review They have a bunch of pros They are open pretty late They have bands and events, you can scan the menu and it tells you the schedule for upcoming events. The band we saw when we came in was called - second hand smoke. I felt like I was at a lounge in New Orleans They have great seating vs just sitting at the bar. They have such beautiful couches to lounge on. The atmosphere is great, I love the color scheme here. The place isn't huge, but they have a great amount of seating. And it's comfortable. I love the magical forest vibe The bartenders were all great They are also right next door to Wrigley bbq. And they don't mind if you bring food in from there (they are literally right next door) Wicked wolf does have a very limited food menu. It's just small things like a charcuterie board, hummus, a sandwich and other little items We did end up ordering the charcuterie board and the Cubana sandwich It is street parking. But both times I've came I got a spot right up front The drinks are great. I got an espresso martini and for my second round I had the pornstar (both my two favorite drinks) My girl, Lynn ended up getting the golden spike and an old fashioned. They also have a page full of signature mocktails to order. They also offer tea and coffee during the day I literally have zero complaints. It's a great place to just sit with girlfriends and have a couple drinks. It's definitely not your typical bar, so don't come here looking for a wild party. This is just a nice calm place to come with girlfriends if you want to grab a drink or two and just relax and talk Bonus points for it being locally owned and woman owned

An excellent bar to hangout with friends or partners. We didn't have any food, but the drinks were awesome and decently priced. Service was friendly. We went on a Thursday evening and there was a trio playing live jazz. The music was very good, especially as there's no cover. The decor is nice. There is also an upstairs rooftop deck. The only problem is that there is no parking, so you might want to Uber.

This place is a vibe! I love the art on the walls and the laidback atmosphere. The furniture is comfortable and the environment is welcoming. Upstairs I saw people playing board games and enjoying their drinks. They have a bunch of classic cocktails and a few unique signature drinks. It's a place where you go to the counter to order, and then they make your drinks in front of you. I got the seasonal mezcal cocktail and it was refreshing, but the smokiness from mezcal really shined through. They have a good list of mock-tails as well that my wife enjoyed. I would return to this place. I wish it was closer to the Whittier area. Thank y'all. read more

Austen at the Wicked Wolf is hands down one of the best bartenders in Long Beach. I've been wanting to visit this local bar, and when I saw a mixology class on my favorite spirit, I couldn't resist even if it was on a Monday! The class was lively - quite a number of bartenders and industry people attending. Loved the energy and passion in the room! The space is super fun - dark and cozy, with some masterful looking cocktail making happening. I'm so glad I went - cannot wait to come back to have some cocktails soon! read more

Drinks were very tasty, I tried an old fashioned and a smoked whiskey drink on their specialty cocktails. The menu was eclectic and favorable for everyone except winos. I didn't see anything I'd want to drink wine-wise on the menu. The bartenders were spirit tasting and my friend and I tried something off menu that was delicious with gin in a tulip glass. Ambiance was dark and moody and they were playing some old school hip hop which is always a vibe! Definitely will be back, and would highly recommend read more

This place is really a vibe.. I came here to check out a friends show & the sound was great! The drinks were also top notch & from the looks of it, pretty good. Went in Saturday evening the two wokers did not greet us we walked to bar to possibly order drinks and apps, again lacked to greet or provide good welcoming service so sad I heard really good things about this place. Asked the guy if we can order apps his repky was kitchen opens @ 7:30pm you can bring in food from next door i was like wow....... will not return I really wated to like this place being so close to my home, Do better wicked wolf. read more

One of the best cocktail bars I've been to. The bartenders are experts at their craft and make delectable drinks. The decorations are thoughtful and cozy. There's an outdoor upstairs area for the louder crowd. There are purple spotlights attached to the trees outside and it feels like the bar is spilling out into the street. Parkings a bit hard to find on busy nights. Great atmosphere, absolutely recommend. read more

The ambience is cozy and dim. It's a dark forest theme with green lighting on some nights. Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about Bourbon and Whiskies. Cooper is very patient and passionate about his explanations. The seating is very relaxed and some place u can just fold your leg up and chat up with your pals. Tonight it was a live music night. Loved it. The singer and guitarist were phenomenal. A perfect place to dress up or dress down ! No problem. They have an upstairs where they host different events. Yesterday it was a salsa night, tonight it was a Gin tasting night. The security guard is welcoming and non threatening. The food is prepared in a tent outside by super friendly people. They take an order and they make it outside. Super meat heavy. Nothing vegetarian. Parking is difficult on the streets. Bartenders are super creative. They make and shake two drinks at the same time. Drinks are a must try and very tasty. Connor made us some lovely drinks tonight! Must go ! Love the chilled out vibe. read more

This was the biggest surprisingly positive experience. Not that I wanted anything less but I had no idea how cool this place was going to be! Friendly, fun and great environment. No table service. You go to the bar and order. Drinks are amazing! I recommend Once upon a lime! Tables, couches and bar top. Not a very big place But such a great vibe. Music is loud and the environment is loud but it's got a great vibe! I would highly recommend for a small group of friends to hang out and enjoy some cocktails. I did see some people order delivery service food (I.e. post-mates, door dash, Uber eats, etc.) as they do not have a food menu. We went to dinner first and ubered here. It is a really dark and undeveloped area. No stores or business around here. They do have security guards at the door. I did not feel unsafe at all! Maybe tue security because it is a very underdeveloped area. I would definitely go back. read more

I'm here to rate the tea service. Firstly, the location is beautiful and the staff is great. The food is delicious and almost every bite was good. The cucumber sandwiches were to die for and for 2 people we spend 40 bucks. That being said I know that they just started their tea service and you can tell. The set that we got only included the pot of tea and scones, we had to order all the food separately. The scones were really small and there was no jams/clotted cream/butter for them. We also had to physically go up to the bar to grab honey/sugar/milk for our tea and we're not given any utensils. The egg and charcuterie board were okay but felt incomplete and the cheeses were sloppily cut. I think this place has a lot of potential but it has a lot to fixes to make if they really want to market their afternoon tea read more

I have to start taking pictures... you'll just have to trust me on this. The ambience in this place is perfectly balanced between whimsy and dark, cozy bar. The drinks are exceptional, and they've got a nice long mocktail list too. Food trucks available for the munchies and they're right next to Wrigley BBQ too. 10/10! read more

Hub & I visited after seeing it in the LB POST. Everyone from the security officer to the bartender - was so friendly. We just dropped in for a cocktail. Hub said it was the best old fashioned and I had a peppery margarita (yum )... it's a small, quaint and spirited atmosphere. I hope for your success going forward. Ty !! read more

It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

The biscuits are very buttery, and the gravy is very thick, so it's a decadent and heavy breakfast for sure. The lemon ricotta pancakes were light, fluffy, and bright. I enjoyed them a lot compared to a classic pancake. The breakfast pizza was awesome. Charred pizza crust, topped with hollandaise, good bacon, and few leafy greens to make you feel better about yourself. I enjoyed everything with a fresh orange juice mimosa and thoroughly enjoyed my brunch by the bay.

If reservations aren't going to be honored, there's little point in making one. After such poor service before we were even seated, we decided not to stay and took our business elsewhere. Very disappointing.

The inside is tasteful, and although there is no seating, there is plenty outside. The matcha and espresso are honestly on the lighter side, but the flavorings are strong while not being too sweet. They evidently put much thought and development behind all their drinks, and each one we had was well balanced and very tasty. I thought the Baguio Banana was particularly unique and very good. The matcha jasmine held much of the jasmine flavor, but maybe a little light on the matcha. For my boyfriend, this was perfect for him!

The Wicked Wolf has nailed every touch of being Classy, Chic, Casual Environment with Fabulous Tasting Foods and Drinks. It wasn't packed when we went, but I can see it becoming that way, particularly on weekends, so I recommend going early or throughout the week. Their presentation and service are exceptional while being highly friendly. Our bartenders were on target, with a positive attitude and a lively vibe. In addition to being aware about the menu options, our initial visit to The Wicked Wolf was one of many to come! Definitely coming back. Tea at the Wicked Wolf was a great experience. The teas were all so fragrant and delicious that it was hard to choose. The Poet's tea was particularly delicious, the sandwiches did not disappoint, the scones and beignets were very good, and the array of chocolates and fruit were a perfect end to a delightful experience. The staff was warm and welcoming, and exhibited the kind of customer service that is among the best in the hospitality industry. Mixologist/Bartender Conor was Awesome! Drinks were great, he is the 2024 Long Beach drink champion. Relaxed ambiance with wall art and comfortable seating made for a great chill environment. Music was perfect, not too loud. Drinks are priced right at about 13-24$ depending on the liquor you choose. Street parking only but got lucky with a spot right in front. For sure want to come back and try different drinks... only wish they had cheaper food options. read more
