the inside of a fast food restaurant

Cool place. Went on a hot dog "tour" (which meant, I wanted hot dogs, so I just drove to random places I could find)... This didn't disappoint. The overall vibe was nice. Loved the decor inside and the hot dogs were great as well. Nice folks and I would surely return!

Today I stopped by the Wienery to grab some food before my flight to Miami. Whilst ordering, this wonderful young lady named Whitney was very kind and helpful to me. The chicken tenders I ordered took 5 minutes to be cooked and were hot when I got them. They were very Tasty I will be coming back soon!

$7.50 for two specialty dogs that tasted good but looked skimpy. I had a hair appointment on the area and saw that this was across the street so I stopped in for a quick lunch before I drove home. It is a very small restaurant with maybe 5-7 tables if that and an even smaller parking lot right off the street where you pull in in front of the restaurant. While I am happy it wasn't street parking, the lot could be confusing because I don't know if you could park in the back too, it kind of seemed like you could. I ordered the Mo and Mario Lopez dogs. The mo was just a hot dog with spicy mustard and sauerkraut ( my absolute favorite dog) and the Mario Lopez was pico, avocado and cheese sauce. I should start of with saying that there dogs reminded me of five guys, it's even split the same. It took about 10 minutes to get my dogs after ordering, and after receiving them that just seemed too long since everything was sloppily thrown on the dogs. The mo had the spicy mustard and be sauerkraut in the center and the Mario Lopez was practically sogging from the bottom of the bread. Overall, I was not impressed by this experience and I don't think I would come back again it the opportunity ever arose but the dog flavors are creative and fun.

Came to the Wienery for dinner with my family today and everyone really enjoyed their experience! We were able to look at the menu and figure out what we wanted to order without any pressure or rush. The men behind the counter grilling and taking orders were polite and friendly. The space has plenty of seating indoors (ac'ed) and outdoors (suited for groups of 4 or less). There was music playing indoors and outdoors, but it wasn't blasting so we could hear each other talking without yelling. The hotdogs and burger combos we ordered were great too! Nothing was greasy or oily, the hotdogs and burgers were cooked to perfection, and the fries were perfectly fried! Definitely will be coming back again hopefully soon!

Ordered 3 steak n cheese and received two steak n cheese and one chicken. A little disappointed that a small order got screwed up. Staff not wearing gloves Utensils and lids etc left out allowing exposure to contamination.

The counter and the person who dealt with cash and immediately put their hands in the cooler to get cones and not wash their hands

I really liked ordering food here and picking it up but this time I decided I was going to walk in and order and I was immediately disgusted when I realized that the girl at the register touched and dealt with cash then immediately went into the cooler and retrieved potato cones for my order and drop them in the fryer with her bare hands that she literally touched money with without washing her hands. I'm honestly disgusted.

    Kids chicken meal

$6 kids meal?! 2 chicken tenders and MAYBE a handful of fries, not even. My 3 year old eats more than this and they call this a kids meal? Otherwise stick to their hamburgers and hot dogs

Just had a delicious chili dog at this spot and it's exactly the kind of local gem that makes my heart sing. Prices reasonable for Stamford and it has everything I like well made. Dogs are sabrett and sliced in half and grilled and put on toasted roll Walters Mamaroneck style. Will be back!

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, everyone was friendly, and we even ended up making new friends. A special shout-out to Maggie, our bartender. She was warm, fun, attentive, and made the whole evening even better. And creates the BEST cocktails. The food was outstanding. The burger was cooked perfectly, the French fries were absolutely delicious, and the bao bun was fantastic. Honestly, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Great food, great service, great people, and a fun vibe. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the hospitality from the staff, and chef made us feel right at home. We started drinks with a Strawberry Cosmo and a Paloma Spritz. Both refreshing and dangerously strong in the best way possible. For apps we came for the Crispy Duck on Sushi Rice, and as someone who usually scared to eat duck, this completely changed my mind. The duck was unbelievably crispy, similar to crispy prosciutto, and paired perfectly with their special sauce. We also had to do the Crab Cake was another standout, especially with the house-made Green Goddess dressing. The chef even came out to explain how he prepares the sauce, which made the experience feel much more special. For the entrees, we ordered the Linguine Fra Diavolo, loaded with perfectly cooked shrimp and the perfect amount of spice, alongside the Steak & Chips finished with a truffle vinaigrette. Somehow, every single dish just kept getting better. And because we clearly hadn't eaten enough, we had to try the Bacon Mac & Cheese Balls with smoked tomato sauce. I honestly could've eaten an entire plate of those. To end our meal, the chef surprised us with his Duck Egg Brownie, and it was one of the softest, fudgiest brownies I've ever had. A 2 hour train ride sounds crazy... but Flinders Lane made it absolutely worth the trip. I can't wait to come back to try the kangaroo!

Got there early ahead of our reservation to get drinks at the bar. I ordered a dirty vodka martini and my husband got a gin martini. They got the order wrong and gave us both dirty martinis. I was briefly excited by them asking if I wanted blue cheese olives but even those were dry since you can see them on the bar pre-skewered, sitting in a container, not in brine. We finished our drinks and then moved to a table. We were not given water when seated. Placed an order for another round of drinks then (smartly) made the decision to order a mix of apps first before our entrees. Placed an order for another round of drinks, got the gnocchi, dumplings & wings. Food hit our table before our drinks arrived and we had to ask for water. Now onto the actual food - sadly, nothing good to say about it: - Sticky Gochujang Wings: well fried wing but WAY too much vinegar in the sauce not at all a Gochujang flavor - Sweet Chili Dumplings: Panda Express sauce a cloyingly sweet. Would expect more from a place like this. Also the filling of the dumpling tasted like it had curry seasoning? Curry + sweet chili are not flavors that mix - at least not in this dish. - Gnocchi: The sauce was broken/so grainy and gritty and the gnocchi itself SO DENSE. After this bad show, it was a no-brainer that we were gonna take our night and appetites elsewhere. So disappointing. Feels like they have a lot of service issues. Staff felt new even though they've been open for a year or so now. Unless some big changes happen, I have no interest in coming back.
