Back at it with a review. Wanted to check out a New Seafood Broil and stumbled upon this gem. This place does not disappoint it has that old school feel Vibes. Service was on point got seated right away. And as for the Food super Delicious no words. Definitely will be back. FYI I think it's better than other spots.

From their menu.

I actually wanted to like this place but I wasn't completely happy with half of what I ordered. I would give the food 2 stars, but I am rounding it up to 3 because the service was decent and I received rice upon my request. I have driven by this restaurant numerous times, but decided to look them up on mothers day. After looking at their menu, I started craving traditional water spinach and braised catfish. I called them 3 times before someone picked up and since it was mothers day, they recommended that I do an online order. I rarely do online orders and the one time I do, I ordered the wrong fish dish unbeknownst to me. I followed their directions and did an online order for pick up. Its through ChowBus and although it says no fees, I was charged an extra $1 for placing an online order. That's misleading. Anyway, it was going to take 30 mins for the order but I showed up in 10 mins because I was close by. I checked in and then waited for my food, no problem. It really only took 20 minutes. Before I left I checked the food and I was disappointed that it wasn't catfish. I thought they switched out the fish! The fish that I got looks like alien's baby. Lol Although I had a bad feeling, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and told myself maybe it will still taste good. I got home, set up my dinner, and gave everything a try. I tried to eat the braised fish but after picking at half of it, I just couldn't anymore. The skin is slimy and it wasn't fun removing the spine of the bones over and over just to get a bit of fish. Anyway, the water spinach was normal and I ended up just eating that with rice for dinner. I might give them another try only if I dine in for some creole seafood. Also, someone from the business reached out and it wasn't until then that I noticed a mistake on what I ordered. I definitely need to avoid online orders because of reasons like this and the hidden fees. I much prefer calling in or ordering in person. Lesson learned!

Honestly it was a nice place good service . But The shrimp was super overcooked and hard to peel. But the flavor was good. And price was really good too! You also get ice cream at the end.

Steamy boiled rice noodles mixed with chopped cilantro and chives, that should have been bagged separately from the hot noodles.

I bought 2 orders of Bún Riêu from Wild Crab. Briefly, I was disappointed with the to-go order. I paid $11 for each. The hot broth/ soup was in 24oz container and not enough for a regular bowl of Bún Riêu. The chopped cilantro and chives should have been bagged separately from the wet, steamy boiled rice noodles. I eat Bún Riêu from numerous other restaurants and always get a 32 oz container of the broth/ soup. The broth, Riêu, chả, Tofu were alright, not delicious.

3 lbs seafood boil challenge I visited Wild Crab for the first time today in my exploration of Vietnamese Cajun style seafood in the OC area, and I was thoroughly satiated The fresh ingredients and bold flavors (amazing sweet-savory sauce with chopped garlic and a squeeze of lime ) exceeded my expectations. Way better than any seafood boil chain out there! And the fun yet well balanced decor, awesome playlist, and thoughtful customer service made me feel right at home Can't wait to come back for another 3lbs of excellence

This place was so good. The crab was big and the flavors were spicy and awesome. Thank you

This is supposed to be 1lb of crawfish and 1lb shrimp, but they gave us more frozen crawfish rather than shrimp as of October 2024.

Kudos to manager, Kevin for rectifying our issues. We called on a Tuesday afternoon to ask if the crawfish was fresh and were told "yes" by employee via phone. So we proceeded to place an order of 1lb crawfish,.1lb shrimp, half a pound sausage and Cajun fries. Unfortunately, when we got home and began eating, we noticed several things wrong with the order: 1) crawfish was frozen. How could we tell? The crawfish meat had freezer burn smell and almost tasted spoil. 2) We received more crawfish than shrimp when it was supposed to be 1lb each. 3) The sauce flavor was pure oil and burnt garlic tasting. Another tell tell sign the crawfish meat was frozen and possibly spoiled was the color and texture of the meat: grey and disgusting. I ended up not even eating more than 10 pieces because the smell and flavor of the crawfish was so bad. Because the sauce was lacking in flavor due to mostly oil and burnt garlic, the whole meal was pretty much inedible. Yelpers be warned, I got a tummy ache after eating even just a few bites an hour later. My husband called to complain and the person who originally took the order answered the phone. He confirmed that the crawfish meat was indeed frozen, so kudos for accountability, but there was still frustration as to why we were told the food was fresh and then serve frozen. Had we known, we would have ordered something else worth $60 + tip and save everyone the inconvenience. Originally, the cashier offered to replace the meal with "live/fresh crawfish" or 20% off on future order, but it was such a bad experience and flavor profile that we didn't want to make a trip back. Instead, we asked for management to give us a call back for next steps. Thankfully, manager Kevin gave us a call and demonstrated great customer service by issuing us a full refund. Thank you for making it right, Kevin! All three stars is solely for customer service. This was our first time here and I am disappointed to say that it will be our last due to the initial experience. Although management corrected the issue by refunding us, I don't think their flavor profile is as established as their original flagship restaurant and when compared to other Crawfish restaurants. Yelpers, remember to ask for what you're paying for and say something if it isn't right. Especially with food cost being so high these days, make sure you get what you pay for! Also, as a new restaurant, I am sure they will welcome the feedback to become a better establishment.

Service was good servers are pretty attentive although there are very few of them so catch them when you can. I am not the biggest fan of their seafood - the flavor is not very strong and hasn't seeped into the broil yet. So overall it's kinda just like seafood you'd make yourself at home. The calamari was crispy at some parts but also oily soggy and the breading was not sticking to it. The shrimp salad we got was arguably the best thing very flavorful and delicious. The wings particular the house and the lemon pepper were good. The Thit Kho to - was not good kinda just like minced pork meat not caramelized or sticky enough The rice also wasn't charred enough. Overall not particularly a spot I'd recommend the have some good specials going throughout the week though if you're interested.

First time here at their new location and wow I love how the inside looks! Very clean, bright, and spacious! Lots of parking available as well. We only came because crawfish is back in season! Everywhere else was a bit of a wait but luckily no wait over here! Winning! Walking in, the workers were so welcoming. Our server was Tammy! She's such a sweetheart and provided us great service. My party ordered fried calamari, Chicken tenders w/ fries, and combo 2 wild style spicy. Everything came out so hot. We enjoyed the calamari. The chicken tenders were also good not dry at all. The french fries alone was good but didn't enjoy the seasoning, could be better. Combo 2 was just okay in my opinion only because the crawfish was small and the clams were not good this run but the shrimp was good. Sauce could use more flavor, garlic, less butter/oil and could be spicier, the spicy was more medium level. The floor manager? was very helpful, we did let him know about the clams and they were so nice about it and fix that situation for us. Last but not least, they provide vanilla icecream at the end. Very much needed and appreciated. Overall, I had a good time here. This spot is so much better than the last location. Chill vibes and who ever was DJ y'all was playing all the jams. I would definitely come back and support! Tips: Monday they are CLOSED! Tuesday - Fried Chicken With Red Rice $10.00 Wednesday - Wing (1 Pc) $1.00 Thursday - Oysters $1.00 each Friday - Fish & Chips $10.00

Shrimp and Clams Extra Spicy Wild Style

Had to come back again! It's my friend's birthday and she wanted some good ol' Cajun food. Took her here since I was here on Mother's Day. They definitely did not disappoint. She had the snow crab legs with mussels and I had the shrimp with clams extra spicy! It was delish. I'll definitely be coming back again. 100 percent.

Went in with my family on Tuesday and was helped by Tammy and her other coworker. They were so polite and friendly with us. It was our very first time and they were more than happy to answer any of our questions. Even when it got busy they still managed to come to our table every single time. Would for sure come back again 10/10. The food was amazing (we usually stick to other seafood places but this has become our favorite) Not to mention the restaurant was beautiful and clean. We also got ice cream at the end

It seems like this spot is super popular for brunch drinks. Had the birria taco and this one was probably my favorite of the dishes tha we ordered. There is a crispy shell, two different sauces, and condiments to add with it. There is a lot of different textures and the meat was juicy. The smoked salmon flatbread wasn't as good, it looks very colorful and pretty, but I didnt think the flavors went together very well. I like the smokiness but the salmon wasn't umami enough to justify mixing in caviar and avocado and arugula that would normally pair well with beef. Finally, had the chicken tinga skillet, which had flavor in the sauce, but the chicken itself was just ok.

Finally a couple weeks go by and we get there with the line not too busy so we wait for about 20 mins in line with only 5 people ahead of us which I felt was a bit crazy but we're already here. Finally we order and get a breakfast burrito and a torta to eat in totaling out to 35$ just between those two items, but hey if it's good who cares right. We notice that there is no assigned seating and we're told to grab a seat where ever we liked so we go to the only table available inside about 10 mins after sitting and waiting for our food one of the waiters comes up to us and tells us we can't sit at the table because it's meant for a bigger party and that there is a table all the way in the back next to the restrooms that we need to move to because they need to save this table in case a big party comes in. I told her that these were the only seats available when we got here and i'd have no problem moving if a bigger party came through however there wasn't anybody waiting in line or ordering so we were gonna continue to wait here. the waitress proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know how else to say this but we aren't allowed to sit there, and we just exchange awkward silence. she gave up after about a minute of telling us to go to the back of the restaurant. All this could be overlooked if the food was amazing so i was really hoping it would be good and then finally after about 16 mins of waiting and being told to move by staff the food comes out. the waiter drops my plate so that it clatters as it hits the table and the nail in the coffin is that the food was honestly borderline bad, burrito lacked seasoning but was smothered in salsa to attempt to hide its mediocrity, it came with two more salsas on the side and chips but the chips were cold and stale unsure if they just gave me old chips because they were upset with me not moving to the back for them or if their chips are always that stale and unsalted. won't be making a return save urself the money and go try any other Mexican place their food will be better and cheaper.

I came in with friends and ordered a pitcher along with several shots. The server, a young white male, brought the shots and only one cup of beer. I immediately told him I had ordered a pitcher, but he insisted I never said that -- even though I had already been charged. To avoid arguing, I told him to just bring a pitcher and charge me again respectfully. He refused and told me I would have to go back and wait in line if I wanted one. When I asked to speak with a manager, he said the manager was unavailable. We later noticed him walking around the patio taking pitcher requests from other customers and bringing them directly to their tables without sending them back in line. We politely asked again, and he said "okay," but repeatedly ignored us, walking past our table multiple times. When my friend followed up, he suddenly claimed he couldn't serve us and again told us to get back in line. There was no clear reason for the difference in treatment. Watching others get served while we were repeatedly refused, despite being respectful customers, made the situation feel discriminatory. As Latino customers in a predominantly Latino community, the behavior came across as biased and unacceptable. It's extremely disappointing because I've supported this place for nearly a decade and had never experienced anything like this before. Unfortunately, this interaction completely changed my view of this establishment. I would not recommend coming here if respectful and fair service matters to you.
