The Ryan Ranch location is terrible. They are never consistent with their preparations. You never know what you will get when you order. Today I ordered curry egg salad sandwich and received about 1 tablespoon of egg salad and rest was lettuce and tomatoes that I had ask for on the side. Fresh, organic, delicious food! The one downside of Wild Plum is the wait but I guess that should tell you how good everything is. We came for brunch on a Monday morning, waited for about 20 minutes for a seat which would have been fine if the food and service would have been better. Food was over salted - cafe scramble and omelet with an overabundance of cheese. The saving grace was the Cinnamon Toast. Service was extremely slow. Server was inattentive - water glasses ran empty many times, requested hot sauce was not brought, ignored when finished eating and had to go up to the front to pay for our meal and get a Togo box for the leftover toast. Don't waste your time here. Beautiful area and location, couldn't say the same for the quality and service. went for breakfast before heading back home and decided to dine in with my girlfriend. I ordered the vanilla latte and matcha. The latte was just ordinary black coffee with French vanilla coffee mate and the matcha was basically milk with food coloring. Asked to return the matcha and they seemed annoyed which I brushed it off, afterwards we proceeded to wait 30 minutes for our order and which at that point I was irritated and just asked for a refund. This has by far the best selection of vegan breakfast/brunch in monterey county. The latte was huge and delicious served in a bowl. The portion sizes are quite large. The vegan burrito with the works was only 1/2 eaten due to its size but will be good for dinner tonight. No vegan pastries were available...not that we needed them!:-). Went to the plum last week because I was staying in monterey for a buisness trip. Walked in and was told to write my name on the clipboard at the door. Um ok a little strange but ok. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated Even though there were several empty tables. Orderd a scone and coffee to start and a breakfast scramble. We'll the coffee was good except for the cracked/chipped mug. The scone was dry as cardboard! I asked the server, and she told me the owner uses several day old pastry's and doesn't want to buy the proper equipment..ok well a little to much info but ok..omg the scramble came out looking like they picked it up out of the gutter..overcooked, no seasoning stopped on a plate with burnt dry toast.. at this point I didn't even say anything.. this is a miss on every level and a pathetic excuse for a restaurant..done and done! read more

Explored a breakfast spot near the hotel sectors and the menu was intriguing. Saw a review about a employee named Jesus, OMG wonderful in every way! Welcoming, attentive, warm, knowledgeable, relatable and chill dude. The other employees are also noticeably attentive and warm, just didn't get their names. I had the Mediterranean aka Sicilian scramble ( per the receipt) It had allot of ingredients but not over powering, every bite was oh so good! The potatoes, man, usually I get them and they are under or over cooked, usually I don't finish them, becomes just a plate decor.Not here! They were tender with a crust, I wanted more, that good! The food takes incredibly long to come out, especially considering we ordered a vegan breakfast burrito to split. The server also never checked on us. Another server picked up our plates, but dropped a knife on my fiancé because she was chatting with the table next to us while she did it. The server never mentioned that we would be charged a split plate charge. It probably should be mentioned so that people can alter their order if they would like. They did bring the burrito out on two separate plates for us, but we did not ask for that and to charge for it seems a little silly. Especially without warning. The vegan breakfast burrito came with unseasoned large crumbled tofu, I would recommend creating a tofu scramble with seasonings like nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, etc. since that's what gives it the "eggy" appeal to vegans. The tortilla was also raw and soggy, I believe the description mentioned it would be grilled, but ours was not. It was edible but could be improved. read more

The customer service is ok but they're always making mistakes! The website doesn't give the right phone number so you cannot fix an order. I have not been here in person - but have had 3 meals with my family over the holidays, Thanksgiving, NYE and NY day. My sister and bro-in-law live in Carmel by the sea and LOVE this place for easy to go catering. The thanksgiving meal - 3 kinds of stuffing they ordered - and really THREE kinds!! (stuffing is my fav, and this was a wealth of riches) - 2 kinds of potatoes - all the stuff. It was tons and tons of food. If I had 1 minor quibble - it would be that the pie crusts (on both pies) was a bit too thick. But we ate turkey leftovers for days!! Then for NYE we had the butternut squash lasagna and a salad (also more pie) - This was my fav meal of the 3. VERY rich and decadent. NYD we had the eggplant Parmesan. NOTE, if you expecting traditional eggplant Parmesan, this is not it. It is more like an pesto (no red sauce)/eggplant lasagna (it includes noodles). Also very rich, but super tasty. My sister and bro in law did say it can be frustrating to order here though- the online ordering does not function or list the offerings. I will say that I found them easily within the Yelp app. But they need to figure this out. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Menu looks incredible but the food however was not. We got a cafe scramble and a sicilian scramble. I have a gluten allergy so I asked for GF bread. Had to send back bc it was reg bread. Service was ok, server was nice but seemed confused with order. I get it, I've been a server for years in the past so I write things down when someone has an allergy. Mixed up order and there were 2 of us. Food was worst then service in my opinion. It says it's organic and healthy but I feel terrible after eating there. My stomach is very upset and bloated and having digestive issues. Potatoes and eggs were extremely greasy. After you wait outside for a table once you get seated. The food is healthy but mediocre, the large lattes are beautiful with the art but the staff needs lots of help. They are way too busy and don not have enough staff to keep up with the rush. The kitchen is slow so expect to wait for your food. We did have to send our potatoes back since they weren't well done like we ordered and they forgot our side of bacon so we had to wait for a while for them to finally come out. When we asked why they were forgotten in the first place the waitress said that the kitchen doesn't read the tickets. Overall an okay place, we only come for the lattes. read more

I love this place! and I honestly miss working near Wild Plum :( every morning I would get a cappuccino and some sort of pastry, The pastries are made that morning so everything is fresh and you can just smell it through the restaurant, I would also order lunches to go and the quality of their food is a 10, They make everything Fresh and use organic Food. I wish I had more pictures ! (And better ones ) The inside of the restaurant is very homey and very welcoming.the owner is always there in the mornings. saying good morning to everybody making sure everybody has their coffee ! I love that they have samples of their pastries/Bread in the mornings. I always love an extra bite of their baking goodies. I'm not much of a salad girl, But they make the best salads. They are perfect to enjoy on a hot day. read more
