Average fast food at best, overpriced, serving frozen fries, burnt Brussels sprouts and obnoxious rap music. I asked the staff what bread, roll or bun the fried chicken sandwich came on. The three staff members had no clue and one girl said flour. I told the girl she should be a comedian with that response. No refills on soda. The only party making money with the $10,000 a month rent is the landlord. The chairs on the sidewalk are cracking and breaking too. I won't return to this establishment. Honor Bar in Montecito has a hamburger and chicken sandwich that is many times better for the same price with a better ambiance, better service along with better quality ingredients.

The Window is always buzzing with people at all hours of the day. They serve amazing burgers. The buns are soft, but not soggy. The patties are perfectly charred and the toppings melt together beautifully to create the most solid, yet simple burger I've had in a while. I was most excited about their dipped cones, which are fresh and creamy. The peanut buddy is a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate, covered in a crunchy but smooth peanut coating. Wonderful, wonderful, amazing place with lots of seating and parking! The outdoor patio has lots of bugs flying around :( but we sat on the stools near the street and had no problems there.

I ate lunch at the Santa Barbara Win-dow location. I ordered the grain bowl with a patty added. It was a great deal for $10. And SO nice to have fast food that is not all grease. Thanks!! The bowl had brown rice, pickled fennel, roasted broccolini, carrot ribbons, kale, cilantro, and radish on it. It came with a small dressing which was delicious! I enjoyed the bowl and would def come here again.

Dang. What a great burger experience. Worth the hype. We tried their cheeseburger and their double cheeseburger. The buns were buttery soft and the meat was perfect. My biggest worry with smash burgers are that they always tend to be greasy but not these! Also the portion size was perfect. We each got fries as well. They were perfectly crunchy. How all fries should taste. We got two sauces: their house sauce (think thousand island) and jalapeño. The house sauce was my favorite for the burger and fries but the jalepeno would be great on a chicken sandwich (which they have!). One of the big winners of the night was their milkshake. We got their local strawberry. It was perfectly creamy and the strawberries tasted hella fresh. Would highly recommend. Everyone that worked there was lovely and fast. It's a small joint where you order at the window and the call out your name. There's seating around the location on either side with only about 4 true tables so when it gets busy I could forsee big groups having a hard time finding a spot to sit. We walked here but there was a parking lot behind it with some spots. Please note that a lot of people got food to go by parking on the street and jumping out.

Love the location. It's such a cute little outdoor seating with awesome music. The workers are super nice and friendly. It's a must have when visiting Santa Barbara.

First time and it was Outstanding. The burger was so yummy and tender to eat. So much flavor. The frys with ranch were also yummy. Outdoor small seating area makes it feel like Santa Barbara. Seems like a small habit kind of place but the burger was absolutely delicious. Order at window and pick up when number is called. Quick burger spot. Highly recommended.

This is officially my favorite Smashburger in town (sorry, Third Window)! Their prices are super reasonable and the food is delicious! The massive lines have gone down since this place first opened in Santa Barbara. I've also had the SB Grain Bowl made with brown rice, six veggies, two seeds, and soft egg which is pretty yummy too. I was still pretty hungry though after eating, it so next time I added a Patty. Parking can be difficult, but can usually be found on the street if the small parking lot which it shares with Lighthouse Coffee and other businesses is full.

Wanted to try something local (eventhough I am a fan of Habit Burgers) and check out Win-dow. As stated in the name, you walk up to the window to order. Tried their cheeseburger and Impossible burger, fried brussell sprouts and fries. Buns were sweet and soft.. kind of .like a hawaiian sweet bread...burgers with the crispy pickles were very tasty. Dipped my fried crispy brussel sprouts in ranch. Seating is ultra casual and all outdoors...perfect for a mild weather day. Will have to try their 3 day flavor option dipped soft service cream cones. They were super popular.

If I was asked for a death row meal, it would be the double cheeseburger from here. It tastes so fresh, the onions add a nice sweetness to the savory. I wish I had got a cone or shake. Will come back when in town and recommend to friends.

It was my first time trying Win-Dow! I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a side of the house sauce. The cheeseburger was delicious and the fries paired perfectly with the house sauce. The staff were friendly and the outdoor seating area was clean. There's a small parking lot, plus street parking and a parking garage right across the street.

I was excited to try this place, but sadly disappointed--a poorly constructed burger with good meat quality but extremely Salty. The fries were crispy but over-salted. Friendly, efficient service. Extremely uncomfortable, hard, small marble seats, with little shade. It's though the tables and fixed umbrellas were a whimsical approach rather than a functional one. Also, .65 cents for extra sauce? C'mon

This spot is so good. Burgers are great. Price is a deal imo. Parking is super easy/free. Ordering has always been quick even when it's busy, and food comes out relatively quick. Burger is fairly filling compared to other places (looking at u, third window). Not a fan of the fries though. Tastes like stale McDonald's the one time I had it. Chicken sandwich is nicely fried but bland.

The burger = great taste, great price. The fries are pretty mid and the shakes are okay in my opinion. I also have experienced a yucky avocado (over ripe or just a bad batch) on the side with my burgers that isn't pleasant to eat. Deducting stars because the stools in the seating area are just about the worst possible option I've ever sat on. The stool is a flat circle with the smallest diameter possible, and a terrible inch wide ledge to somehow rest your feet on?? Not sure if the intention here is to prevent long dining times with shitty seating, but man it's uncomfortable to eat your food while your feet can't even stay on the foot rest

Friendly guy at the front and the place is bright and clean. I had the double and a side of fries. The burger was good with a nice array of no frills toppings...sauce, pickles and grilled onions. Don't understand the hype. I guess it's because the place opened a month ago. Pretty basic, meat, cheese, pickle bun. They are more like sliders. Trust me when I say not to expect a decent sized burger. Not the place to come when you are hungry. If you are not from the area, I would recommend The Habit or In-N-Out for a better burger. What did surprise me was the fried chicken, well seasoned batter, but the portion disappoints. The lemonade game is mediocre, was extremely acidic and sour, and the drinks had more ice then anything. I've ordered from here twice and both times I got the kale salad. The first time I added a burger patty and the other a chicken cutlet. I love the salad but can't speak for the other food since I've only tried the salad. I recommend ordering online to get your food faster. It seems like a cool place to eat outside and people watch. read more

Great budget eats only a short walk from state street! All seating is outdoors, and the patio area is usually pretty full. Order at the window and wait for your order to be called through their loudspeaker, and you're on your way! This spot is very very casual and great for late night budget eats. I got the fried chicken sandwich, and found the coleslaw to be oddly sweet. The fried chicken itself was very crispy though! If you get cold, make sure to bring a jacket for the patio! read more

Been back here several times and it's still spot on for taste, quality, value, and customer service. The bun is so soft yet firm enough for the delicious burger, the fries are hot and crisp, the Peanut Buddy can't be beat, and the staff is always super friendly. Cute building and patio as well. Obsessed! So good! We went on a Monday, no line. Busy but spots to sit and eat. Ordered a cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, fries, strawberry shake, and a lemonade. A colleague recommended this place, so I tried it (two days ago). I ordered a double cheese and fries. I was *singularly unimpressed. The only "cheese" available (for their cheeseburgers) is American. Spoiler alert: That's not real cheese Their "homemade Thousand Island dressing." Was disappointing--apparently made with dill relish , rather than sweet pickle relish (which is standard). The ONLY garnish available is sliced pickle--no lettuce, no tomato. Nothing The burgers were weird: mushy and flavorless. The fries were okay. Nothing to write home about. The jalapeno dip was wholly uneventful. To make matters worse, their ice cream machine was not working, which sucks, IMO. TBH, I've no idea why/how it is that this place is so popular (always a line, seemingly). One redeeming factor: VERY friendly/accommodating employees. They aim to please and to be of service. Bottom line, I would be willing to try it again, once. If I do, I will request well-done/"burned" burgers. And I will *try to remember to bring my own lettuce, tomato, and Thousand Island dressing. (Honestly,shouldn't have to.) read more

There are three GOOD burger spots in town in my opinion. 1st is hands down Third Window. 2nd is going to have to be in n out And 3rd...is win-dow burger. HEAR ME OUT! The prices are better than most fast food restaurants in SB, and the food seems to be getting better with consistency. The burgers also have their own unique taste compared to the other burger joints I listed. Lastly their house sauce isn't just a copy & paste of thousand island. It has a flavor that stands out and even makes the burger go from alright to "damn that was good". read more

So I wanted to smash burger I was gonna go the third window, but I forgot this place open so I came here instead. I would like to start off by saying the burger is good but that's it. Nothing spectacular. Nothing like oh my God this is so fire just a good burger. The fries are pretty basic. My favorite part was the cheese and onions cause I felt like the burger itself could use more seasoning. will be back? No, I'll go to third window, their flavor of burger and fries are just better Also, the jalapeño sauce was not spicy and the house sauce is good but I wouldn't pay $.60 for either cause they're just good and they could go without it. This was truly a hidden gem! We got a double cheeseburger, fries, and the kale salad. Everything was amazing and the wait wasn't too long. The outside area is super cute with lots of seating! The Win-Dow is such a great addition to Santa Barbara! The burgers are simple but so good. They're juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Their fries are perfectly crispy, and the soft-serve is the best sweet treat to finish things off. Although I will say that the portions are small. It reminds me if Habit and In and Out had a baby in a positive way. Compared to those two places, the serving size is smaller. The vibe is super casual and fun, perfect for a quick bite with friends or a late-night craving. Service is fast and friendly, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you're getting. The onion strings on it, the bacon, the barbecue sauce, and the patties themselves, really really good. The pickles were also DELICIOUS. Like it's rare for pickles to taste different, and these did in an amazing way. Their ranch isn't my favorite, personally. Fries - 10/10 Unfortunately have to buy them as a side to the burger (don't come with). A small was more than enough and I think they were roughly $5 or so. Tasted absolutely amazing though, they did them really well. Pepperoni pizza - 6.5/10 Solid, but probably wouldn't get it again. $22 and was an underwhelming size when I opened the box. Not much sauce, but decent bread and solid pepperoni. Forgettable though. Brown butter chocolate chip cookie - 5/10 Meh. Wouldn't get again. $4 I think? Spend roughly $50 on the 4 things, so a bit expensive, but granted I got a lot. Ambiance is so-so, but that depends on what you like. It's sit down at large benches where other parties can sit as well. There are some smaller 2 person tables and 4 person bench like tables as well. Expected for a brewery though. Nice that they had options. It's largely outdoors which is nice. I'd definitely come back here again.

Here is why:…read more 1) They have a peanut butter and jelly hamburger. 2) The burgers are smash burgers. 3) Great prices. 4) Different and diverse types of food offerings depending on the day (the burnt ends on Saturday were great). 5) Live music and events (when we went, they had World Cup watch parties). 6) The water is free and super good. 7) Family friendly but also good place to chill with friends or a date. The wait times are a little long but I like to think they're being very careful with preparing our food. Parking can be challenging depending on time of day but there is street parking. Besides the parking, my only gripe is that I came here three times for the PB and J burger, and they do not sell it right when they open, and the kitchen closes at 9 PM.

There was an indoor area, and we didn't know at the time, but there are separate outdoor waiter service areas and counter service. We did counter service. There were two people at registers. There was literally no one in front of us and no marked nor even obvious line area. Naturally we stand a few feet in front of one of the registers waiting for her to say, "can I help you" before we move to. Instead the woman (to make it worse, I think she was the patio manager because she was older than the others and seemed to be doing more things than just working a register) gives us the, "I need you to wait in the line area over there" and points to a barrel with no indication that it's a line. You know like the old David Spade skit. This already left a bad taste in my mouth because again there was no line marked, no one waiting, and it's not like we got up in her space or were being pushy. She was just power tripping. To make it worse, we came here because they literally have "full bar" painted on the outside of the building, and the other places around are mostly wine bars or beer gardens. BUT (keep reading)... One of the young people working calls us from the "line of just us" to help us (because of course the other woman wasn't going to). They have 3 specialty margaritas listed. I ask if I can just get a "regular margarita". She says "no because they only sell pre-made drinks". Uh, what about the FULL BAR? Then we sit down. They have a few long picnic bench style tables. They all had a party at them but they were big so we asked a group if we could share the opposite end. The other customers were cool and had no problem with it. BUT... There were no napkins nor condiments. When our food arrived, it was mediocre. We left unhappy but didn't make a fuss. As we were leaving, the power tripping woman thanked us for coming as if she hadn't just been a total B to us for no reason.

Crispy edges, rich flavor, and that consommé on the side to dunk it in took it to another level. It gets messy but that is kind of the point. Had to add a side of sweet potato fries too. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and the perfect balance to all that burger action. They definitely showed up for Burger Week.

I found a nice bar-height communal table inside a super cool restored warehouse with awesome indie music jamming, also surrounded by big screens and sporting events. I ordered a bottled Arnold Palmer from the bar, not realizing the bottled drinks are self-serve. Nevertheless, the bartender kindly got it for me along with a glass of ice. Now here's the best part: the very best Turkey Burger I have ever had--way better than any take-out before. It's topped with garlic aioli, avocado, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and crispy skinny onion rings, just perfect. I also ordered the fries with truffle and Parmesan--absolutely delicious, though a bit too flavorful, which overshadowed the turkey burger's flavor. The next time I tried the Suuk (mugwort). What a culinary delight. Next time it was Hojicha. I am now a regular! I have worked my way to Strawberry Rose Matcha. The best!!!!! It isn't just the food. When you walk in you feel welcomed. The vibe is relaxed with wonderful music. All this comes together with the most incredible team. You talk with strangers while sitting on the bench. Okay, their Diet Coke tastes like god just spit in your mouth. So fire. And the area around is super pretty to just watch cars go by, and sitting outside waiting is torture because it just smells so good. The worker was super sweet and awesome but you can't get no onions on your burger but okay didn't taste any so I think it's okay. The burger is really good the bun is like soft and chewy, the fries are okay, and the Brussels sprouts are pretty good. read more

I stopped by Win-Dow in Santa Barbara, and their smashed burger is awesome--crispy patty, tasty special sauce, and super fresh, fluffy buns. The lemonade is a refreshing win! But the limited outdoor seating feels cramped on hot days, and the ice cream was a melty mess--not ideal. That 3% "healthy service fee" feels off; just raise the prices, you know? We ordered steak & egg burritos, and there was NO steak inside!! Crazy work. The burgers are fine (copycat in n out). Eureka down the street and Third Window on Haley both have better burgers. Do yourself a favor and go there instead. FAR better burritos can be found at the Daily Grind, Super Cucas, Monys, etc etc etc read more

The restaurant charges a 3% service fee for all orders that goes to paying customers. Do better. Raise your prices, take the money out of the owners profit, but don't try to pass your inability to pay a living wage on to customers. read more
