This is my second visit, but for some reason it wasn't as good as the first time. I got the exact same things as my first visit- vegetable pho and pad see ew. I can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe the vegetable stock didn't brew with vegetable a lot? I don't know. The pad see ew was excellent though! I will give this location another chance though. I do like the hole in the wall feel of the place and I do like that it is a small intimate room where everyone sit close together, it feels homey/cozy. read more

South Dallas doesn't have very many options for Thai or pho and am happy that we have at least one good spot to go to! Had a bit of buffet when we went. Both me and my partner had pho and pad see ew. It was all super delicious. Service was quick and polite. The place is pretty cool. The curry chicken pho was amazing. It's got a nice outside area, inside dining too and a bar area where people seem to congregate and watch sports games. Very chill. Definitely recommend! read more

My husband has stopped in twice after work to pick up a pho for me this past week as I've been under the weather. He said everyone was super nice and welcoming as soon as he walked in. Great service. Their pho is pretty good. I'd rate 8 out of 10, although it's lacking just a little tad bit in flavor the broth is clean and good. It came with a small amount of veggies but it was fine. This review is only for the Pho. I got the Chicken Pho and my GOODNESS it was MEGA BLAND. But I fixed it so hang in there. The service was amazing so I have no complaints there, it's just that like they don't season ANYTHING AT ANY STEP. The chicken was Super tender, but tasted like NOTHING. The broth looked good -not too greasy, but some grease which I like. But my God it tasted like NOTHING. I was hesitant to ask, but I asked for some salt and put an ungodly amount of salt in my broth and added more Sriracha that I usually do. I added ALL the jalapeños and asked for extra limes (they're big so I didn't think I'd use them all). I ended up using all three of those as well and FINALLY, it was tasty. I'm not saying don't go, but if you're going for the pho, don't be afraid to ask for the salt shaker and right when you think it's enough, dash a bit more. This place has so much potential bc everything was ALMOST the way I like it like the tender meat and the amount of oil in the broth, but my GOODNESS they just need to pick up some salt and seasonings and throw it in the pot and on the meat. read more

This was a great place to go for dinner. And we had a wonderful experience. The food was really good. We ordered the bees knee and some type of noodle dish with chicken and my husband and I were very impressed with it. It had basil also and loads of vegetables. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, and our food was brought out very fast as we ordered our drinks. We got our appetizers a couple of minutes later I highly recommend for anyone to go here. It is a very special place. The only recommendation I would have to change would be the spring rolls sauce that comes with it Was not my favorite. I think it could've been spicy or something else but everything else was great and I would come back here in a heartbeat. read more

If you're looking to have an actual Korean bbq rice platter I would recommend going elsewhere where. The portion was ok a little on the smaller side. The one thing i enjoyed from that plate truly was the broth they served in the bowl. It's the only thing that had actual flavor on my plate. The Korea ribs were a bit on the skinny and burnt side in the bottom pieces. Would I go again? Maybe, but just to try possibly their pho since their broth had a good flavor. Other than that I'll just drive a bit further out for Vietnamese/ Korean food ! The ambience was nice and comfortable with calm music and perfect temperature. They had a place that you could eat outside however we chose to eat inside. We ordered the spring rolls and those were OK. The sauce was underwhelming however we ordered the chicken sauté and that was really good. The peanut sauce was tasty. And then we ordered a dish with chicken and noodles and a ton of vegetables and I felt like those vegetables came straight from the farm. They were so fresh and they were cut to the perfect size and the dish was great. We asked for pretty spicy on a level from one to six. We asked for 3 1/2 and I would say for us. It was not even a bit spicy so that was the only disappointing part but we added some additional spice And it was really perfect. We had a bees knees drink, which was phenomenal and also a Thai iced tea. The price was less than $50 for all of that and I felt that it was very reasonable. The waitress was prompt and quick, so there were no problems There either. I would highly recommend to go to this place maybe add more flavor to your spring rolls or the sauce but otherwise I think it was really really a nice meal. read more

We've been here twice in the last week for dinner, so it is quickly becoming our go-to spot in the area. We've enjoyed everything that we have ordered, but I will echo some of the other reviews that the service needs attention. The first time we went the service was excellent, but the second time it was lacking with long delays for drinks, odd spacing between delivery of appetizers, etc. We are likely to go again, but will hope for better service. I've had other menu items and delicious I would have rated 4 stars but service lacked NEEDS IMPROVEMENT Two waitresses working on a Wednesday lunch about 5 tables in at the moment . I can't recall her name because she didn't even introduce herself , she took about 10 min to come to table. Another table sat next to us , I'm assuming other section and they got their food fast and were gone before us. Future reference I'll probably do take out from now on I'll get better service doing take out then dining in. I really wanted to like this place. I love Thai food and I was excited to have a Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. The service wasn't great. We had appetizers on the table but no water or cutlery. I had to ask for silverware. I ordered curry. When the food came out, I also had to ask for chop sticks. The curry was a lot more watery that I'm used to. The food wasn't bad but the service and the thin curry is definitely not an experience I want to revisit. Also there were no Thai/ Asian people in the restaurant.... I was excited to try this place after a visit to the Dallas Zoo holiday lights event. It was busy when we walked in so the waitresses had us wait awkwardly at the door until a table opened up. The menu is large, full of Thai and Vietnamese options. My husband and I went with ice coffees and unfortunately, majorly disappointed. Nothing like tradition Viet or Thai coffees. The food took forever to come which wasn't fun with an 8yo especially when the majority of our order was pho and that's usually a quick meal anywhere else we go. Their pho condiments were not very fresh and they just give a small plate worth. And after all that wait, the flavor was just so-so. Almost sweet. I would give this place 4 stars because I really like the Pho but the Pad Thai was so bad I can't justify it. It was so dry and lacking in the flavor you would expect. The noodles were dyed red from the sauce that seemed to soak into the noodle without adding any flavor. Great location, great patio, and great service but not-so-great food. I ordered beef banh mi, chicken pho, and filet mignon/meatball pho. The Banh mi was too chewy and the meat was tough. It was missing a lot of flavors like pickled daikon and carrots and pate. Filet mignon is usually served raw so it can be cooked in the broth. In my case, it was just over-cooked in the broth. Both portions of noodles were tiny, about the same size as child-size pho at other Vietnamese restaurants. Pho noodles are very cheap, it should be double what they're giving for what they're charging. read more

Amazing Thai Food This is my go to Thai place in Dallas. I love all their curry dishes and noodles. Also all of their appetisers are super yummy and you can make a meal out of just them! Well, I thought I'd give them one more chance after they moved to their new beautiful little building, but dang it, I still don't like the food at all. Today I picked up the Pad See Ew. It was edible, but that's all I can say positive about it. No depth of flavor, very boring. The real kicker was the Corn Patties appitizer. They were inedible! They were a gummy mess of deep fried corn starch with a few corn kernels in them, and I do mean a few! I basically threw everything out.. Do better, people! It's not that hard! read more
