We were traveling to AZ and on our way, we always try and patronize local businesses. Given the good reviews on Yelp, we figured this place would be a slam dunk. We were wrong. There was only 1 person working. There was one to go order and another couple ahead of us and it still took 50 minutes to get our food. The worker even gave us a free drink and a pita and hummus. When we got the food - it was not great at all! My shawarma wrap was a chicken burrito- no sauce, no lettuce. Do not waste your time or money here! read more

For the most part I'll give it more 3.5 We weren't planning on having it but passing by we saw it and decided to give it a try. I got the Chick Shawarma Wrap and pops got Gyro Wrap. The meats were very good but just the combination and the fact that they weren't that big for the price was a downer. Inside just looks like a regular quick service place which isn't a bad thing at all. The lady that helped us, not sure if she is new but she didn't seem to know the prices or seemed kind of lost taking our order. But the reason for 3 stars is mostly because of price and what you get for. I don't eat this type of food often so the few times I had in the past at other places, is what I'm comparing it too. And those are great, this one was nice, but would still have it if someone treated me to it. read more

I simply cannot say enough good things about the Wrap Shack in Bermuda Dunes under the new ownership. This is a genuine family-owned and operated local business, and you feel that warmth from the moment you walk in the door. Lena and her family are so welcoming and kind that dining here feels like you're eating a delicious, home-cooked meal in their own home. Not only is the service friendly and exceptional, but the Mediterranean food is amazing. We had the gyro plate, and everything was so flavorful and delicious. Food was delicious, fresh, and filling. The service (cashier was a super friendly guy whose name started with an R!) was on point. I would gladly pick up lunch from here again! We had two falafel sandwiches and one chicken shawarma, fries and tzatziki and garlic sauce. Everything was really good although given the portions on the sandwiches, the French fries portion seemed small. But that's me being super picky! This place is a gem we happened upon, and couldn't be happier with our experience. The vegan options were plenty worh some of the tastiest flavors. What a wonderful discovery! Everything was delicious, and the experience FAR exceeded our expectations! We were just looking for a healthy meal close to the highway- but it felt like a feast in Lena's home!
