Great food we had smash burgers fries and the chicken sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their food. For smash burgers they are a little thicker than some other burger joints so you can prob get away with a single w cheese and it will fill you up. I typically prefer smash burgers w more of a crispy edge and the 4 stars instead of 5 is in comparison w other smash burger spots ive had but not saying this place isnt great. If you are in the area id def say try this over the most popular burger joint in n out and see what you think. They also serve Alameda soda which I never heard of but I really enjoyed and its unlimited refills. Seating is small inside but can handle maybe 10. They also have a bar and im sure its the spot in spring and summer as there is plenty of outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly too. What could they improve or offer? Really frustrating experience. I showed up early and waited outside for about 30 minutes before they opened, since their hours say they open from 5-9 on weekends. As soon as they opened, I went in and was immediately told by the host that they weren't accepting walk-ins unless you had a reservation. No heads-up, no signage, nothing--just told to wait another 2 hours. After already waiting outside before opening, that's unacceptable. If you're not going to allow walk-ins, you should make that clear ahead of time instead of wasting people's time. Definitely disappointed. read more

Fun outdoor family friendly patio with open seating. They have picnic tables and benches with lawn games. Great for fall weather. The tables were not cleaned unless asked. The staff is kind and willing to answer all questions and help as much as possible. They had no record of my order after waiting we went up to check on it. They quickly made it and brought it out to our table. Our second order should have come with fries and they quickly brought it out. The smashed burger was very thin and mostly bun, the chicken sandwich was delicious and I highly recommend. The mix between the ranch and hot honey really made the chicken sandwich. The outdoor seating area is very nice and the games they have outside are great for entertaining the little ones. We ordered the smash burger, the double smash burger and the chicken sando with fries. The fries and the chicken sandwich were very tasty even if a little messy and if it was based on just those I'd give five stars. The food is okay, nothing you haven't seen at other similar places. The biggest issue is the amount of time it takes to actually get your order. I ordered 2 burgers and 3 fries - that's it. From when I paid to when I got my food it was 50 minutes. The owners of Attra and Vine + Grain have done it again! This spot is a perfect new addition to downtown. You order inside and they give you a beeper to alert you when it's ready, and you get it from the counter (when they're not slammed they bring out to you). We've tried the burgers, chicken sandwich, fries and filthy fries and they're all delicious. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable about their cocktails and the flavors of each. Everyone working is so, so friendly. The outside area is community seating, tables, benches, a bar top for standing and lots of umbrellas. There's giant jenga, toys for the kids, corn hole and several TVs that show the sports games. I absolutely recommend this place! After waiting for the grand opening hype to die down a bit. We ended up finally stopping by on December 27th. I had to place the order online through DoorDash for pick up since that was the only option unless I went in person so we had to pay a little extra for a Togo order. I'm not sure why their company website doesn't have that option or a phone order option. Parking was another inconvenience, but that's not their fault. I finally made it to The Yard. It was pretty busy with a consistent flow of customers. The business looked pleasant. On Saturday, May 23, 2026, our family visited The Yard after my sister spent the day at a funeral. We came hoping for a calm, family-friendly evening. What we got was the opposite. Another group's unsupervised children repeatedly threw a beanbag at my teenage niece, hitting her in the face twice. When my brother-in-law calmly asked the father to watch his kids, the father's wife was visibly drunk and stormed over screaming obscenities at us. She called me the c-word, hurled vile insults at my brother-in-law, and shouted "f*** God" in a venue full of families. She then falsely accused me of photographing her children. I had raised my phone to document her behavior after she became the aggressor. When the owner arrived, he sided with the drunk, abusive patron and turned on us, the people who had done absolutely nothing wrong. This place markets itself as family-friendly and tells customers to "love your neighbor." On May 23rd, the owner had a chance to live up to that and chose not to. We will not be back. read more

The staff are all very friendly, welcoming, have smiles on their faces, and the service was very quick and smooth despite it being busy on a Sunday afternoon. The burgers taste amazing -- It makes me feel like I'm going to a diner in the 50's. I also really enjoyed seeing all the children being kids instead of being on a phone or iPad thanks to their marvelous idea of creating a yard!
