What a major disappointment! When I walked through the back gate I felt as if I was at my grandchildren's elementary school to pick them up. We were a party of 7 adults out on a Friday evening wanting to enjoy this beautiful outdoor venue with food and a few adult beverages. After 35 minutes they offered us a table inside. It was a beautiful room with 3 large dining tables and we were in the middle table. We were comfortable and conversing for about 15 minutes, then the other 2 tables were filled with families with screaming kids. It was so loud we could not hear the person next to us! I Love the parents who do not make their children use inside voices or remain seated. We had a Very good waiter and everyone was happy with their food. It was unanimous with our group, we will not be back unless we bring our grandchildren, but I'm sure the yard will be very successful without us. Great playground for young children. read more

We specifically chose this place because it's pet friendly, which we truly appreciated, but unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed that positive. We seated ourselves in the patio area and waited for about 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. My fiancée even walked up to the server area and was told someone would be with us shortly. We continued to wait... and wait... and still no one came. Not a single staff member made eye contact or checked in, despite several servers being nearby. It was frustrating to feel completely overlooked, especially when we were genuinely excited to try this spot. A pet-friendly patio is great, but attentive service is just as important. Sadly, this visit was a major letdown. Pandora and chaos will not be coming back next time we visit McKinney. read more

Drinks are solid too, especially the frozen margaritas and local beer options (they usually have Shiner and other Texas brews on tap). What can I say. Wow this place is awesome! Tons of room great food great menu! The alcohol is great bartenders know how to pour drinks! The place is very clean and has a great outside area! Good music not to loud! The management seems very nice and professional! Our servers name was Hannah and she couldn't have been more helpful! Super busy and she was still very attentive always had a smile on her face and answered all the questions we had! She was super sweet and one of the best servers I've had! My husband and I went in Saturday afternoon with our two children. While we do have kids of our own it was still a little frustrating to have so many children running around and parents not keep them in the play area. HOWEVER besides that the wait for a table went by rather quick and our food and drinks were amazing along with our server Zoey. She talked with us for a bit and seemed very knowledgeable of the menu items. It was recommend I try the frose which I loved and my husband got the well water which he also enjoyed. We will definitely be back but hope that the kid situation gets a little more controlled. read more

Today, we checked out The Yard, a charming outdoor spot perfect for a casual meal. Though it was a bit hot outside, the laid-back atmosphere made up for it. We couldn't resist the fried pickles - crispy and delicious! The nachos were tasty too, though they could have used a bit more cheese to cover them better. Our servers name is Nicholas, and he was fun and was on top of everything. Also the server also came bye and kept talking with us, which was kind. The food is great, I got the chicken fried steak. It was about as big as Texas , it was so good, you could cut it with your fork. The appetizers were awesome and I got the buffalo shrimp, which it was not too spicy, it was just flavorful.This place is also kid-friendly and it is also for adults.
