Does anyone know if The Yard will be open this Monday on labor day?

McKinney High School reunion gathering- Friday September 9th at 5 pm.... 70-80 people? How May I put on Waitlist?

No.

Do they allow dogs?

Yes

How do you apply?

Come down to the restaurant and meet with a manager.

Planning a couples dinner tonight starting at 6. How busy is Thursday nights? We will probably have 20th people.

20th isn't a thing. Please ask again and this time make sense.

Is this walker or wheelchair accessible?

Yes by law it has to be.

I need to reserve a table for a party of 15 Sep 24 anytime after 5pm. Please help?

They do not take reservations but if you call ahead they will try to set aside some space but Saturday night will most likely be 1st come 1st served. Send someone to grab some tables for you!

Do you take reservations? If so, party of six for Shalene Morrison, tomorrow, 9/19/21, at 12:30 PM?

No.

Can't find the "notes" section for larger groups, how long is the wait for ~20 people tonight about 6:30 (8/5/21)?

None.

How do I setup a table for 2 at 8pm tonight?

Get a table and set it. Have a clock handy to make sure it's at 8pm.

Hi, I don't find where the notes area to call ahead for a table for 6 at 5:30 today (07/24) can you please help me? Thanks!

We are not currently running a wait. Please double check back before heading our way to make sure we haven't started one. Once we start a wait you will be able to add your name to the list. I would recommend checking around 5/5:10.

Anyone know how to use the waitlist for The Yard? I can't find the "notes"! Ugh! Hi Kristen, The…

Okay... we have you down. Just remember this is merely a call ahead and your party might be split up. We do not guarantee a table ready at any particular time because of how busy The Yard can be.

I will be on the wait list for today at 2:30. I am bringing a group of about 16 people. We would like to have the back room as we will be decorating for a birthday party. Can you please accommodate us?

No.

Is the restaurant accessible for scooter or walker?

A scooter should be fine, but a walker might be a little tricky, as the primary surface around the table is coarse gravel

Do they have Sunday ticket?

Yes

What's the largest party you can accommodate?

Check the capacity of the venue.

Are there any gluten free options?

No why would there be.

What are the vegan options, if any? (Yelp says there are ☺️)

Salads, veggie burger-just ask for no cheese!

You have to seat yourself - there were enough vacant tables to pick from. Within a few minutes, our server was over and helped us narrow down on what we wanted to order. I went for a Crushed Velvet Mule in addition to Cali, Buffalo (both grilled versions) and Burg B Q. We told our server that between me and my wife, we will be sharing the chicken sandwich and hence requested that it be sliced into 2. Not only were the burgers sliced, it was served in separate plates with sides as well - that was a really nice touch. Cali was a bit bland, Buffalo and Burg B Q were both really nice. The drink was nice as well. There was live music but we were seated near a table that was pretty boisterous, could hardly hear anything. The outdoor seating overlooking greenery and events they do at the restaurant make the place quite different - we will definitely be back soon to try other options on the menu.

The #1 ordered item is the burger but it tasted like it was a frozen patty and the bun was stale…read more Somehow the chicken strips were equally disappointing. We didn't even finish our food and gave it to our dogs instead. The atmosphere was...gross and felt trashy with loud drunks. Daytime might be different but cheaper beer and much more enjoyable food is incredibly plentiful around here. We have no reason to return.

The Common Table (DFW Area)…read more How Did We Get Here? Somewhere between "just grabbing a bite" and curating a whole vibe... you realize not every table is common. And this one? Understood the assignment. I landed at The Common Table looking for something easy--but what I got was an experience that felt intentional, social, and just elevated enough to make you stay longer than planned. Let's get into it. The Atmosphere: Indoor-outdoor energy with a patio that breathes. Dim lighting, soft conversation, a little buzz--but never overwhelming. It's giving: date night, business casual meet-up, or "let's decompress after a long day" energy. The Menu: Extensive--but not chaotic. From elevated comfort food to curated cocktails, it's clear this place is designed for options and experience. This isn't fast dining--it's stay a while dining. The Crowd: A mix of professionals, creatives, and people who understand that where you go matters just as much as what you order. Translation? You're in the right room. The Experience: Easy flow. Good pacing. The kind of place where conversation lingers and no one is rushing you out the door. And honestly... that's rare. Final Thought: If you're anywhere near DFW and looking for a space that balances elevated without trying too hard--this is your move. Because sometimes the best places aren't the loudest... they're the ones that feel right the moment you walk in. And somehow, some way... we ended up exactly where we were supposed to be. -- How Did We Get Here?

We started with the spicy Philly egg rolls and calamari. Both were flavorful, and the sauces had a nice kick. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta, which tasted good, but the pasta was overcooked. The same issue came up with my daughter's mac and cheese. With how saucy both dishes were, an al dente noodle would have been better, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Service was good, and everyone else enjoyed their meals. The real highlight was the music bingo happening during our visit. We played, won a round, and walked away with a $25 gift card, so we'll definitely be back to try other items.
