Great food made by great people!! I love this place. When my team is looking for a delicious meal we go here. When I have friends in town looking for something to grab while touring around I let them that this is a must stop. Always filling and satisfying any item you choose is a good decision. My favorites are the veggie quesadilla, lox bagel, jalapeño burger, sweet potatoes with honey (yes please). But more than the amazing food, it's the kindness of the team there. Go visit them. Delicious food and amazingly delicious coffee!! My 13 year old daughter and I are in town for a wedding and decided to get a quick breakfast. The yucca tree eatery happens to be right down the way from our Air b&b. As you walk in the first thing you notice is how good it smells! Not overwhelming but subtle hints of coffee and breakfast. So many restaurants come with an overwhelming smell of grease. Not this place. The next thing you notice is its cleanliness! But getting to the food and coffee. My 13 year old who is in her " Joey doesn't share " faze IYKYK* asked if I wanted to taste her breakfast burrito because it was so good I had to try it. So half way through our breakfast we swapped food so she could try my sourdough breakfast sandwich ( which she also loved ) and I would try her burrito. Awesome vegan options just ten minutes from the National Park Entrance. I put in a large order to go for a group of 7, they had my order ready in about 15. Tucked away behind Starbucks and Applebee's you will find The Yucca Tree Eatery. The staff is friendly the place is clean and the menu is limited. I had Pineapple water with a breakfast sandwich my husband had a breakfast burrito with a chai tea and the ticket for both was $40.00. The breakfast sandwich was good, the pineapple water not so much and both chai tea w/burrito were pretty good. I can't say we will return simply because our brunch wasn't spectacular over any other breakfast spot in town and $40.00 was a bit high for what we got. There are other vegan, vegetarian and organic establishments to dine that are just as good and a little more reasonable. Perhaps the rent is high in this particular spot which may explain the high prices but we do wish these folks much success. read more

The front of the cafe is easy to miss cause it faces 90deg from the road. But finding the place is definitely worth the search. It's busy during lunch & there is limited outdoor seating. The interior is actually bigger than expected & tables are spaced apart. The food took several minutes to arrive but was hot off the grill. Smoothies came out first & were delicious. Prices are 'moderate' ($17 for the sandwich w/ 1 side; $10 per smoothie) but the quality is excellent - 4.5stars actually. read more

Grilled Cheese & Artichoke Sourdough Sandwich First thought is that it's very wet. I think it was grilled with oil, and that wasn't bad but it just tasted oily, a little overwhelming. This was good but nothing too special. The bread did have a nice crunch and was crispy just how I like it! For $9 I did expect more from this but I'm not mad with it!! 6/10 I also tried their avocado sprout chicken sandwich, and that one was actually so good! I highly recommend 9/10. The seasoning, everything about it was amazinggg. Their dirty chai($8?!) was okay, didn't taste too overwhelming or underwhelming but was def on the watery side. Would for sure back to try more things the next time I'm in JT, but the prices make it just a little hard to justify lots of things on the menu. read more

We tried this place for lunch today & I would definitely come back. I had an Everything bagel with lox: cream cheese, tomato, red onion, capers, cucumber and, of course, the lox. I had them hold the sprouts & greens. It was really tasty, served with a side of a garlicky sauce - would definitely order that again! However, was not fond of the Very Berry Smoothie. It was actually very bland and unappetizingly muddy green in color. It barely had a taste of banana and couldn't taste any berries. Honestly, I was expecting something much more light & fruity, especially for $10. My companion ordered a chicken bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. So, we liked the food alot and will definitely be back for that, but, I'll stick to water to drink. read more

They have friendly staff and delicious, healthy options for both food and drinks. My friend and I stopped in over the weekend and enjoyed the Soyrizo Breakfast Burrito (all veggies cooked well and served with delicious house-made salsa), iced chai (made with oat milk, my fave), and grabbed a green juice for the road (perfectly refreshing, not too earthy, full of whole food ingredients). While there aren't too many tables to eat at, we stopped here for a quick lunch. Tried the grilled chicken burger which was served hot on a delicious soft bun. Ordered a side of salad with it because I wanted to try to be healthy - not too much to say about the salad. Prices are ok here, nothing too crazy in either direction. Also tried a smoothie which was a bit on the expensive side but was quite refreshing. Nice spot for healthy lunch options. I chose to go with the Soyrizo Breakfast burrito with the fresh salsa, which is tasty and has a little bit of kick of spicy but totally edible and delicious. I appreciate the spiciness and flavor of the dish. Washed it down with Sabrina's Smoothie which is creamy and full of flavor. Loved the plant based protein as I hate whey and prefer plant based any day. Also tried the house blend coffee which is well brewed and I appreciate them having oat milk as a creamer.
