This place was phenomenal The quality of their ingredients is absolutely worth the price and if I lived closer to the high desert I'd honestly frequent them multiple times a week. Nestled between several chain restaurants, on the side of a building ( you almost have to know it's there ) if this great breakfast and lunch spot. In the veggie grilled cheese is a variety of delicious peppers, onions, and artichokes. The peppers and onions were sautéed to perfection, as opposed to raw which is the sandwich shop norm. Not too pricey for what you get. It's semi self service as you order from the counter and bus your own table. Great hidden spot in a busy part of Yucca Valley..six miles from Joshua Tree. One of two organic restaurants in the area. They serve healthy food, smoothies, veggie juice, and coffee. Kind lovely service. The hamburgers are awesome. The basic sounding chia/oatmeal are completely delicious. The bacon egg croissant sandwich is crazy good. We've had many other dishes here too. My only non-fav is the artichoke grilled cheese, which tastes good but feels like a lot of bread and didn't fill me up so if needs to be accompanied by a side. Highly recommend! We pulled into Joshua tree a couple days ago and found out about this brand new café, I eat meat and my daughter is vegan so it seemed like the perfect place for us to try. I got the grass fed avocado burger, delicious and fresh. My daughter got the vegetarian wrap, so so colorful and fresh. We both got the side of sweet potatoes with honey, it's a must. The people who own and run the restaurant were super friendly. Highly recommend this spot! Be aware that they are a café serving breakfast and lunch, I believe they close at 2 or 3 PM. The food is always delicious and of the best quality. The only time I eat a burger is here. Nowhere else comes close.

Got a teeny-tiny breakfast burrito for $14. It felt pretty bad at that price point based on its size and flavor. I found it to be rather bland, with far too much potato for how little meat and cheese was in it. I think there are three redeeming qualities, though: Excellent service, the girl running the register is attentive, kind, and patient; The ingredients, which tasted very fresh and of reasonably good quality; An excellent side salsa, one of the best I've had from a restaurant, and made fresh several times a day I was told, took my bland burrito and elevated it to something far more enjoyable. In my opinion, this really carries the place. Would eat here again, if I didn't care about the price. This is a biased review. read more

Difficult to find as it's located off the road. It's between Applebee's and Starbucks if that helps anyone else. Very helpful staff. We had the toasted cheese with artichokes. It came with spinach and tomato. Not a combination I would have thought of but it was very tasty and would order it again. One sad note was that there was no cow's milk for drinking just oat or almond. They did have half and half for coffee. I guess just old people still drink cow's milk. We sat outside to eat at a little table. It was a little breezy but very pleasant. There are several indoor tables including a long shared table. Do go and enjoy. read more

Ordered at the register and the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the burger w/ a salad and my friend ordered the chicken bowl. I don't usually go for burgers but it was delicious. Beef was cooked perfectly and the bun was soft. My friend enjoyed her chicken bowl and the salsa that came with it. Staff was super friendly, there are a few tables inside and outside, and the place was maybe 80% full when we were there. Would recommend and would stop by again when in town! read more

Well, talked about pleasantly surprised! I just had the best chicken sandwich I've ever had.... and I've been around the block a few times! This was a nice find. It's kind of hidden off the street. Nice knowing there is a place with vegan options in the area. Here you order at the counter and have a seat. Employees all seemed happy to be there. We enjoyed their Soyrizo Burrito. But I am always surprised at places like this that seem to be more health and world conscious and still serve plastic cups.
